'thoughts'
"blah blah"
(Billy's POV)
Inside a two story house wider than the norm in BelunaState of the Crawford family, the house were filled with cameras and specific identifications by use of technology. In a certain room at the second floor, there was a sound coming out of a cellphone.
'What the f*** is that noise?' I reluctantly open my other eye and reach for my phone at the bedside table but I couldn't find it there. I followed where the sound is and saw it under my pillow.
'Whose number is this? Maybe one of my flings.'
"Listen bitch I've got no time for this shit. I am not the father of your child nor do I owe you dinner. So you better f*** off or I'll send someone else to take care of you." There was no one answering so I waited and I was just about to put it down when someone spoke.
"I'm sorry, but I think you've got me confused with someone else. This is the wolverine football of Chicago University. I was calling in concern of your application over your scholarship for our group."
'Oh shit.' I couldn't say anything for a few seconds. 'This is bad'
"I-I'm so sorry sir. I just woke up and I thought the first time I hear is some fake hoe again. I'm so sorry sir, I promise that won't happen again."
"Hahaha....Don't worry kiddo, ain't the first time someone called me a bitch. Believe it or not that happens a lot when you're married" I hear him chuckle and the words he said made me laugh.
"Thank God, that was the second time I ever felt I was on the other side of the bars" I let out a relief sigh as my concern flew away. My thoughts take me to a memory. A past. We were almost caught back then doing our annual tradition.
"Well, better not be there a third time" I was brought back to reality when he said back. " Let's get back to business then"
"Sure sir, I'm ready when you are" I was getting nervous and excited at the same time.
'I hope I get in.'
"So let's talk about your application Mr. Crawford."
"Please call me Billy"
"You're pretty famous, Billy, you've got average grades but you've got good records."
"Records?"
"I mean your records in football, not your records in detention" That made me blush in embarrassment. Of course, why would I get good records in continuously getting in trouble?
"All in all, everything seems to be fine."
"Thank you sir, you don't how much that made me feel relieved."
"Trust me kid, I know how you feel. I was in your shoes when I was your age."
I was about to say something when he continued talking.
"I hate to be the breaker of the bad news but....I'm sorry" I couldn't feel anything, my body feels numb and my ears only heard blabbers as he continues to talk.
------------------------------------------------------------------------
My head was pounding and I couldn't open my eyes from the light. Then I heard a ring, that made me open my eyes. I quickly looked for it and instantly found it under my pillow. I looked at the unfamiliar number.
'Please don't be real. Please don't be real. Please be a bitch.' I kept praying and praying. Then I dragged the green circle to answer.
I put the phone near my ear as I answered.
"Hello?" I ask unassured with a bit of fear.
"Hey, it's me. I just called to ask if you're available next time?" The caller was a woman asking with anticipation in her voice.
I sigh with relief.
'My God, that was the third time I felt like I was on the other side of the bars.'
"I don't think that's a good idea."
"Why not?"
"Well, for one you're older than me for like 10 years and two, my schedule is full." I reasoned with her in a way that made me feel different considering I usually just scream at them and tells them to f*** off.
"I'm 9 years older than you, besides what's the difference when it comes to love?"
'Oh God, why does she have to be a psycho?' I'm not usually one for calling women psycho the first time they ask me for a date. But when someone is older than you and tells you that a one night stand is love, that's a psycho in my dictionary.
"Did you ever think for one second that I'm a student and you're a p.e teacher in the same school?"
"Oh"
"Yeah, I know, Oh." I say the Oh sarcastically.
"But I thought you wanted to see me again?"
"I never said that"
"Yes you did"
"No, I did not"
"Yes you did, you said you love me and you told me that I am the most beautiful woman you've ever met and you wanted to further our relationship"
'Bitch, we don't even have a relationship'
I told in my head to not hurt her feelings. 'Aren't I a good person? Not telling the truth in front of her.'
"Besides isn't this how it's suppose to go? we have sex and then we're couples."
'Man, this girl is very determined. I know I'm hot but this girl needs to stop. That's it, this has to stop.'
"Okay bitch, here's how it goes. You forget about me and never call this number again or I'll have someone raining down condoms in every state written with your own number and name. We got a deal baby?"
I waited for an answer but all I heard was a dull sound of someone turning the phone off. I threw my phone away and let myself fall down on my bed on my back.
'Ugh, what a day.'
