In Yue Feng's view, the reasoning isn't like that at all! The reason humans are called humans is because they are distinctly different from lower animals; humans have higher spiritual pursuits, value pursuits, and the foresight to protect fishery resources.
Seeing this, someone's bound to start cursing. They didn't have all these pursuits when they were selling crucian carp, and now what's this crap about pursuits! Isn't this just a blatant double standard and pandering for popularity?
It's really not!
Catching a few dozen pounds of big fish isn't the same concept as a trip out catching a few dozen pounds of small crucian carp.
Fishing in freshwater close to home is different from trekking long distances to deep-sea fish. Freshwater fishing costs are lower, most people can afford it, unlike those who depend on the fish catch to subsidize some expenses for ocean fishing, so they have the luxury to be capricious.
