"Awaiting the Master"

The winds are blowing today just like they used to whenever he was about to arrive. It feels like the time for his return is near. It's as if the sky itself is heralding his arrival.

"Uncle Ryuk, who is coming? Who are you waiting for?" Yukio asks, curiosity evident in his voice.

Ryuk, his tone filled with a mix of reverence and solemnity, replies, "The one who rules over doomsday, the one who is a calamity even for calamities. He who saves the world by sacrificing himself, the prince cursed for the sin of love. The one whom everyone fears and speaks ill of, the Demon Lord who was once a prince of heaven. The prince who has made countless sacrifices for this world but has never received praise or a moment of peace. He has forgotten all his memories, doesn't remember who he loved or why he was cursed. He still cries, but he doesn't know for whom or why. He is coming. The world calls him ruthless, but ironically, he has only done good deeds. Our Lord is returning. Kai sir is coming."

Yukio, trying to lighten the heavy atmosphere, chuckles, "Uncle, I think you chose the wrong profession. You should have been a writer. You talk as if doomsday itself is coming to our house."

Ryuk, his voice turning serious, warns, "Yukio, if you show any disrespect in front of him, the consequences won't be good."

Yukio, now a bit nervous, says, "Uncle, please, don't scare me like that."

The tension in the room thickens as the howling winds outside seem to intensify, each gust a reminder of the impending arrival of someone extraordinary. Ryuk's gaze remains fixed on the horizon, his mind filled with memories of the past and the immense power and sorrow that Kai embodies.

"Yukio," Ryuk continues, his voice soft but firm, "this is no ordinary visit. You need to understand the gravity of his presence. Kai is more than just a powerful being; he carries the weight of countless lifetimes of suffering and sacrifice. Respect him, for his burden is one you cannot even begin to imagine."

Yukio's expression turns peculiar as he listens to Ryuk's grand statements.

Ryuk, well aware of how Yukio operates, adopts a serious tone and says, "It seems, Yukio, that you don't want any pocket money this month."

Yukio immediately switches to drama mode, pretending to cry and then, in a pitiful voice, says, "Uncle Ryuk, what you're doing isn't right. It's not fair to trouble an orphan child like me."

Ryuk chuckles, "Kid, you're only 19 years old. And who here is an orphan? I don't see anyone who fits that description! I've loved you more than my own children, sacrificed my life for you, and now you say you're an orphan?"Son, after my brother and your mother passed away in that airplane crash, I have loved you like my own children. I didn't marry just to take care of you, and you say you're an orphan? I have sacrificed my entire life for you, only to hear these words?"

Realizing his mistake, Yukio quickly says, "Uncle, forgive me. You know how much I love you," and hugs Ryuk.

Ryuk, with a smile on his face, says, "Come on, it's time for your college now."

Yukio, teasingly, says, "Uncle, you're still young. You can still get married. After all, you're only 45, and most celebrities get married at this age. If you want, I can help you out..."

Ryuk, in a fit of anger, grabs Yukio's ear and says, "You will never change! You still act like a 10-year-old kid. I'm afraid of what kind of trouble you'll cause in front of the boss. Are you determined to disgrace our family?"

Yukio, wincing, says, "Uncle, say whatever you want, but please let go of my ear. It hurts!"

Ryuk releases his ear and says, "Be responsible, Yukio. Our family has always served the boss with full dedication and loyalty. You'll have to do the same in the future. One day, you'll need to take over after me, but you can't even take care of yourself. How will you manage the business and the boss?"

Yukio, rubbing his ear, says, "Uncle, you're still young and healthy, nothing will happen to you. And are your boss really that dangerous? But just now you were saying such big things about him." He flops onto the sofa and starts mimicking Ryuk's voice, "He has never done anything wrong, yet people misunderstand him, and blah blah blah."

Ryuk, now fuming, shouts, "Security! Security!

"Yukio quickly jumps up from the sofa and says, "Sorry, Uncle, it's time for me to go to college. Bye!" and dashes out the door before Ryuk can respond.

Ryuk, with a disappointed sigh, says, "There's no hope for him."

Just then, Ryuk hears the ominous rumble of thunder. Startled, he looks up and mutters to himself, "But today's weather forecast said it would be clear."

He walks over to the window, curiosity piqued. As he pulls back the curtain, he sees dark, menacing clouds swiftly enveloping the sky. The air is thick with the promise of rain, and fierce winds howl as if heralding the arrival of a powerful entity. Leaves and debris swirl in the gusts, adding to the sense of an impending storm.

Ryuk's eyes widen in realization. A slow smile spreads across his face as he steps back, the wind tugging at his clothes through the open window. He gazes up at the tumultuous sky, feeling the electric tension in the air.

"Well, well," he says, his voice filled with both respect and anticipation. "So, you've arrived, sir. Welcome back, Kai sir."

Suddenly, Ryuk's attention is drawn to the TV, which he had left on in the background. The news anchor's voice, strained with urgency, fills the room.

"Strange phenomena are occurring in Korea today. The weather was clear this morning, but since 9 AM, the entire nation has been experiencing fierce winds and relentless rain. Thunderstorms are striking across the country. It is believed that such rain hasn't been seen in Korea for 500 years. Everyone is advised to stay indoors and take care."

Ryuk turns back to the window, a knowing smile playing on his lips. "So, the whole country feels your presence, Kai. This is just the beginning."

So the chapters ends here

"This is just the beginning... Only time will tell what fate and destiny have in store. What lies ahead is a mystery, but the question remains: can destiny itself rewrite the fate of one who holds the power to change destiny?"
