A Team

Team one is standing at Konoha's gate.

Ray: What's the mission?!

Kichi: A rogue leaf ninja named Seiji Durobo. He is still an S class jutsu. We must take him down and retrieve the scroll.

Kenzo: Do we get to look at the scroll?

Kichi: Maybe.

Kenzo: Then let's go!

Team one starts traveling across trees.

Kichi: You guys have to move faster than that. How will we ever find this ninja.

Everyone speeds up.

Nanami: Sensei, what jutsu was stolen?

Kichi: Kirin.

Ray: Who?

Kichi: Not who. It's a lightning jutsu. A lightning dragon will come down from the sky to attack you. Dodge it.

They keep traveling through the forest.

Nanami: Where is this rogue ninja?

Kichi: We have an idea of his vicinity, but we don't know any more than that.

They jump across trees until they reach a riverbank. They start looking around.

Kichi: Spread out!

Nanami and Ray start traveling along the river bank. Kichi and Kenzo start checking the surrounding forest. Ray is running across the bank. He hears a rustle in the bushes. Then he travels into the forest.

???: Lightning Style: Kosen!

A beam of lightning blasts Ray back into a tree. A man gets out of a bush. The man Has black medium-length hair that goes over his eyes. He is wearing an armored mesh shirt with a blue jacket over it. Then he has black pants on with black gloves. Ray gets up from the tree. Seiji kicks Ray. Ray blocks it, but his arm hurts from the impact. Seiji kicks Ray in the stomach. Ray bends over holding his stomach, and Seiji spin kicks Ray in the head. Ray is knocked onto the ground. Kenzo runs in and sees Ray knocked on the ground. Seiji isn't there.

Kenzo: Ray was taken out? How? We just split up?

Kenzo walks over to Ray and checks his breathing.

Kenzo: He's alive, good.

Kenzo sees Ray's bruised arm and electricity burns on his shirt.

Seiji: Lightning style: Kirin!

A giant lightning dragon comes down upon Kenzo. Kenzo tries to dodge it in time, but barely moves before the dragon lands on him. The next sight of Kenzo is him knocked out on the ground. Seiji starts running through the bushes. He finds Nanami running along the river bank getting closer to Ray. Seiji jumps out of the bushes with a kick. Nanami blocks, but is sent into the river. She soon pokes her head out of the surface of the water.

Seiji: Lightning Style: Kosen!

Nanami dodges out of the way. The lightning hits the water and spreads. Nanami is electrocuted by the traveling current.

Seiji: Easy.

Seiji runs away. Soon Kichi makes his way to Nanami. He sees her floating in the water, and brings her to shore. Nanami wakes up. Kichi and Nanami run to Ray and Kenzo. When they get there Ray and Kenzo are just waking up.

Kichi: You all got beat by him?

Kenzo: He took us out one by one.

Kichi: Hm.

Ray: That guy is a dickhead! Who fights with kicks?! I wanna kill him!

Nanami: He was smart. He knocked me into the water so he could use a lightning ninjutsu. None of us can take him out. Only you Sensei.

Kichi: I am better than you guys.

Ray: Take that back!

Kichi: It was a joke.

Ray: Yeah, you're goddamn right it was a joke.

Kichi: I think there's only one solution. You guys need to learn how to work together. None of you can take him down alone, but together you have a chance.

Nanami: Where is he going?

Kichi: The village Hidden In The Clouds.

Nanami: Then can we cut him off?

Kichi: Correct. Lets go.

They go over the river bank, and start jumping across trees. By the time they get close to Konohagakure's border it's starting to become dark. They stop at the border, and land on the ground. Everyone is out of breath except Kichi.

Kichi: How are you all tired?

Ray: We have been jumping across trees for hours!

Kichi: Fine then. You guys stay here and set up camp. I'll look around the area for Seiji.

Kichi leaves.

Nanami: How are we going to set up camp?

Ray: I'm not doing anything!

Ray sits down.

Kenzo: If he's not doing anything then I'm not either.

Kenzo sits down.

Nanami: Then you will both be doing something.

Nanami thinks to herself for a second.

Nanami: Kenzo, you and I will fish. Ray, you make a campfire.

Ray: I don't know how to start a fire.

Nanami: Use a jutsu.

Ray: Oh yeah.

Nanami and Kenzo go to a river near their location.

Kenzo: How are we going to fish?

Nanami: Seiji gave me a good idea. Use electricity on the water.

Kenzo shrugs.

Kenzo: Alright. Lightning Style: Kosen!

A beam of lightning hits the water.

Nanami: Water Style: Mini Tsunami!

The water splashes onto the ground leaving dead electrocuted fish on the ground. The water travels back into the river bank.

Kenzo: This is actually a really good idea. I guess you're the smart one on the team.

Nanami: Kichi is probably way smarter than me.

Kenzo: We won't have Kichi leading us forever. You said before that you didn't have a reason to be a ninja. That could be it. Maybe you could be the brains of our team.

Nanami: I don't know about all that.

Kenzo: You have to keep your eyes open to find your calling.

Nanami: That's pretty wise. I didn't expect you to say something like that.

Kenzo: It's what my dad used to say. He said that it wasn't until he had me that he found his calling. Your calling isn't something you find bound to find.

Nanami: He sounds like a great man.

Kenzo: He was. He died as an anbu soldier.

Nanami: I'm sorry.

Kenzo: He had a warrior's death. He died a hero.

Ray is walking through the forest gathering wood and sticks.

Ray: Why am I always alone? I have to grab sticks by myself. This sucks!

Ray puts the sticks, leafs, and wood in a pile. Rocks surround the pile.

Ray: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

Ray shoots a small fireball at the wood. The wood lights on fire.

Ray: There we go.

Nanami and Kenzo walk back with handfuls of fish. They cook the fish and all sit down.

Ray: Did you have fun fishing because I had to collect sticks?

Kenzo: I did. Thanks for asking.

Ray chucks a rock at Kenzo, and Kenzo hits the rock out of the way.

Nanami: Ray, why are you a ninja.

Ray: I want to be the strongest ninja of all the land!

Nanami: That's your goal. Is that why you want to take down Renjiro so bad?

Ray: Yeah, because he beat me. I can't allow someone that has beaten me to live. I must be the one to take them down!

Nanami: You don't want to be Hokage? Just the strongest ninja.

Ray: Being the Hokage comes with being the strongest ninja in the leaf village. I want no one to be able to oppose me!

Kenzo: Yeah, okay.

Ray throws another rock. This time it hits Kenzo in the forehead.

Kenzo: You little-

Kenzo throws a rock at Ray, and it hits Ray in the head.

Ray: I'll take you down weakling!

Both Ray and Kenzo get off the ground.

Nanami: Stop! How will we ever work as a team if you two are always fighting?

Ray: We don't.

Kenzo: That's a good solution Ray. Something Ray and I finally agree with.

Nanami: That's a start. Granted a bad one.

???: Lightning Style: Kirin!

A giant lightning dragon appears in the sky, and quickly dives upon Nanami, Ray, and Kenzo. Ray puts his right arm up, and the jutsu stops. Ray then sends the jutsu in a different direction. Seiji jumps out of the bushes and spins kicks at Ray. Ray blocks it, but is sent back.

Kenzo: Lightning Style: Kosen!

A beam of lightning rushes to Seiji. Seiji dodges it with a back handspring.

Seiji: Lightning Style: Thunder!

Small lightning bolts are sent out at Kenzo. Kenzo jumps to the side dodging them. Nanami goes in for a punch on Seiji. Seiji kicks her in the stomach, and then roundhouse kicks her in the head. Nanami falls to the ground.

Ray: Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!

Small fireballs are sent to Seiji. Seiji kicks every one of the fireballs back at Ray. Ray gets blasted by his own fireballs into a tree. Seiji turns to the right, and sees Kenzo right next to him running.

Kenzo: Chidori!

Seiji is hit in the stomach with the ball of lightning, and sent back. Seiji lands on his feet, but gets lower holding his stomach.

Nanami: Wood Style: Roots!

Wood comes up from the ground and languages at Seiji. Seiji jumps to the side, and dodges it barely. Kenzo starts running at Seiji.

Ray: Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu!

Seiji kicks Ray's fireball into Kenzo. Then Nanami out of nowhere punches Seiji. Seiji flies back breaking through tree after tree. Seiji lands in the dirt. He can hear the other ninja running to him. Seiji struggles to get up.

Seiji: I'm a jonin! You're going to have to try harder than that!

Nanami, Ray, and Kenzo jump down on Seiji from the trees.

Seiji: Lightning Style: Electric Shield!

A cover of Electricity comes around Seiji. Nanami, Ray, and Kenzo are all sent back by the shield. Ray gets up first.

Ray: Sharingan!

Ray throws a punch at Seiji. Seinji dodges the punch. Ray throws an uppercut. Seiji dodges back and Ray kicks Seiji in the stomach. Seiji drops to the ground, and sweeps Ray's legs. Ray falls to the ground.

Kenzo: Lightning Style: Kunai!

Seiji turns around.

Seiji: Lightning Style: Kosen!

The lightning infused kunai and the beam of lightning collided. They bounce off of each other.

Nanami: Wood Style: Wood Cutter!

Large spikes of wood are sent to Seiji. They pin Seiji to a tree. Then clapping starts. Kichi jumps down from a tree.

Kichi: Nice team work. I knew you could take down a jonin.

Seiji: They really had me trying.

Kichi: Oh, come on. You held back.

Seiji disappears into white smoke. Then Seji hops down from a tree.

Seiji: I only held back a little.

Ray: I'm confused!

Kenzo: You're always confused!

Nanami: Wait, is all this fake?

Kichi: I thought it would help you really come together as a team. This also helps to show you what a fight between a real jonin would be like. All three of you were fighting him, and you were barely winning.

Ray: I'm going home.

Kichi: It wasn't that bad.

Kenzo: I agree with Ray.

Kenzo and Ray start walking off. Nanami shrugs and follows them. Kichi turns to Seiji.

Kichi: Pussies.
