Master Your Element

Team one is all at the training grounds.

Kichi: You have all been getting stronger rapidly. I'm proud of how hard you've been working, but there are only so many improvements you can make without truly mastering your element.

Nanami: I don't use my element. I use wood style.

Ray: Who even needs to master an element?!

Kichi: The only one close to mastering their element is Kenzo. Nanami, you switched from water to wood style. So you still have a lot to learn with wood style. Ray, you decided to stop trying to master your element after Renjiro beat you. The only one who never stopped trying to master their element was Kenzo.

Ray: I think learning a new element would be much more useful.

Kichi: You want to have two weak elements?

Nanami: What do we do?

Kichi: The first step, which Kenzo has already mastered, is to be able to infuse a kunai with your element.

Nanami: Like Kenzo did at the colosseum?

Kichi: Exactly like he did.

Kenzo: Sensei, what will I do while they are learning?

Kichi: Help teach them.

Kenzo: But I'm behind them in power.

Kichi: One strong team is better than three strong separate soldiers. I won't let you fall behind.

Ray takes out a Kunai. Nanami does the same.

Kenzo: Focus and infuse your element into the kunai.

Ray tries to focus for a good ten seconds. Ray opens his eyes to see a regular kunai. Then Ray slams the kunai on the ground.

Ray: This is stupid! Why would I even need to make a fire kunai?!

Kichi: Why wouldn't you?

Ray: Because I only need taijutsu!

Kichi: Is that what you believe? That you only need strong taijutsu to win a fight?

Ray: Yeah.

Kichi: what happens when your opponent surrounds you with fire, and starts shooting fire balls at you. What are you going to do then?

Ray: I'll use my new jutsu to take them down!

Kichi: New jutsu?

Ray: Nanami, let's show them.

Nanami sends a rock at Ray, and an eye appears on his arm that sends the rock back at Nanami. Kichi is without words.

Kichi: When did you learn that?

Ray: The other day. Isn't it great?!

Kichi: Hm…

Nanami: What is it Sensei?

Kichi: That's dark release. A powerful Kekkei genkai that few have.

Ray: I know I'm amazing. You don't need to tell me!

Kichi: That Kekkei genkai can do much more than just send a jutsu back.

Ray: What else can it do?

Kichi: I don't know.

Orochimaru is in the training room with Renjiro.

Orochimaru: You have started working on your second affinity Renjiro, but you have not truly mastered your second element.

Renjiro: What must I do to master wind?

Orochimaru: It's a simple task for you. Your wind must be able to beat a fire masters fire.

Renjiro: Impossible. I won't be able to beat a fire master with the element that's weak against it.

Orochimaru: Giving up without even starting. Doesn't sound like you.

Renjiro: I accept my task. Where do I find a fire master?

Orochimaru: You will find the fire master at Konoha's springs.

Renjiro: I have to go inside the Hidden Leaf?

Orochimaru: Your wind better take him down quick.

Renjiro: Do I have to kill him or just beat one of his fire jutsu with wind.

Orochimaru: You simply have to beat one of his jutsu. You might get caught otherwise.

Orochimaru starts walking off.

Orochimaru: You know your mission. Complete it.

Renjiro nods and Orochimaru leaves. Nanami is still training to infuse her chakra in a kunai. While

Ray is fighting with Kichi on why he shouldn't have to.

Ray: I don't need it!

Kichi: Then you're going to fall behind.

Ray: No I won't.

Kichi: You already are. Nanami's taijutsu is better than yours. Now her jutsu is going to be much stronger than yours.

Ray: What?! I'll infuse my kunai right now!

Ray walks back into the training area. He picks up his kunai and starts trying to infuse it with chakra.

Kenzo: He's that easy to trick?

Kichi: Yup, he's pretty basic.

Renjiro is running through the trees. He's jumping from branch to branch. He jumps to the top of konoha's wall. Renjiro starts looking over the area. He sees someone in the hot springs.

Renjiro: Looks like Orochimaru was right about my target being in the hot springs. Renjiro stealthily jumps from rooftop to rooftop without making a sound. Renjiro pulls his hood over his face so that it's hard to tell who he is. Then he walks into the hot springs building. The worker is there.

Worker: you here to go in the hot springs?

Renjiro walks up to the man.

Worker: Silent type?

Once Renjiro gets close he hits the man on the back of the neck. The man passes out, and falls to the ground. Renjiro walks out to the hot springs, and sees a man with a hand towel over his eyes.

???: Are you here to wash my back?

Renjiro: Something like that.

The man takes the towel off his eyes.

???: You're not a worker.

Renjiro: No.

The man does a few hand signs.

???: Fire style: Flower Phoenix Jutsu!

The man shoots many small fireballs at Renjiro. Renjiro makes a few hand signs.

Renjiro: Wind Style: Wind Blade!

Wind comes around Renjiro's hand. Renjiro tries to cut all the fireballs, but the wind makes the fireballs stronger. The fireballs blow up in Renjiro's face. Renjiro is sent back. Renjiro is blown through the walls of the hot spring. Renjiro lands on the ground and quickly gets to his feet.

Kichi hears the crash from the training grounds

Nanami: What was that?

Kichi: Someone is fighting. Let's go!

The man in the hot springs walks out of the hole Renjiro made fully clothed.

???: I'm part of the council of the Hidden Leaf. You think because you're an Uchiha you could beat me!

The man starts making hand signs.

???: Fire Style: Flicker Flame!

Two streams of fire travel at Renjiro gaining speed. Renjiro takes out a kunai. The kunai quickly becomes engulfed by wind. Renjiro throws the kunai at the fire, but the kunai is knocked back. The fire slams into Renjiro. Renjiro falls to the floor.

???: Not only are you cocky but your stupid. You sneak into a Hidden village thinking you're going to kill one of the council members, and then fight that council member with an element that they are strong against. You're going to prison for a long time.

Renjiro gets back to his feet.

???: You want more?

The man starts making hand symbols.

???: I'll beat you with your clan's own jutsu. Fire Style: fireball Jutsu!

Renjiro: Wind Style: Razor Current!

The fireball launches at Renjiro. Then the wind starts slamming into the fireball. The wind chops up the fire until the fireball dissolves. Then the wind slams into the man sending him flying. Renjiro hears ninja running. Then Renjiro sees he is surrounded by leaf shinobi. Soon team one arrives to the scene. Renjiro just looks around seeing all the ninja.

Renjiro: Nothing to see here. Just a mere battle between rivals.

Ray: Renjiro! I'm going to kill you!

Ninja: That's Renjiro Uchiha! The nine tailed fox that betrayed our village!

Renjiro(in head): Why does Ray have to be such a pest?

Renjiro makes a sign. At least one hundred shadow clones of Renjiro appear. All of them cover over Renjiro so that he's hidden. The leaf ninja starts taking down clone after clone. Once the last clone disappears they see that Renjiro is gone. Renjiro makes it back to Orochimaru's base. Renjiro finds Orochimaru walking in the halls.

Renjiro: I completed your mission.

Orochimaru: How many ninja were after you?

Renjiro: Enough.

Orochimaru laughs.

Orochimaru: Good. Now I want you to meet someone.

Orochimaru leads Renjiro into a room. A man is standing in the room. He is wearing a white hoodless cloak. The cloak goes down his entire body and stops at his ankles. The cloak goes a bit above his neck too. He has pale skin and short blond spiky hair. He has a giant blade on his back. His blade has a long handle. Then the blade is like an ax that circles to the bottom of the blade.

???: My name is Gorou Suraisu. You have one of the swords.

Renjiro takes out the dragon blade.

Gorou: You were able to kill Kota?

Renjiro: Yeah, so?

Gorou: That's good. That's good. Do you know what his blade does?

Renjiro: It can absorb a ninjutsu and shoot it back.

Gorou: All of the swords have a special power. Only a few of the original seven swords exist. Yours is one of the new ones.

Renjiro: Why did you make new ones?

Gorou: The Hidden Mist wanted a powerful team. Have you been using your blade?

Renjiro: I haven't really gotten the chance to.

Gorou: When you do. You can tell Orochimaru to come find me.

Gorou goes to the door.

Renjiro: Why are you here.

Gorou: Information my dear Uchiha. I like to keep tabs on everyone who has one of my swords.

Gorou leaves the room.

Renjiro: Hm.
