I had the next day off as well and after getting the girls off to school I decided I should clean up all the sand from the car and blanket. It was a much more tedious task than I was expecting.

When the girls got home from school I askedhow there day was as usual. Reya when on abou what she learned in Science today, and the song they sang in music class today. Aja stood by impatiently waiting for Reya to finish. Her day must have had a major event for her to be wanting to talk so quickly after school.

"Ok, Aja .. What did you want to tell me about today?" I knew I probably cut Reya off a bit she was going on and on just like she always does so sometime we just have to redirect the conversation.

"Mom it was crazy," Aja began, " At lunch Tristan found me and asked me to sit with him and his friends, I was a little worried that I would feel out of place but it was fine and some of his friends are in a few of my classes so that was cool too."

"That's great." I am truly so happy Aja she had a hard time leaving her friends when we moved she really needs this. Aja continued to go on and on about the new kids she met.

"So is it ok if I go hangout with Sam and Ashlyn tomorrow after school, I wouldn't be able to pick up Reya from school but Tristan said him and Troy could get her because Tristan's little brother goes to the same school I guess, so is that ok."

"YES!!!!" Reya yelled "please mom can Troy pick me up at school." I haven't even realized she was still listening.

"I'll text Troy and make sure it's ok, and figure out were I can pick you up after work, unless you get done with your friends first." Aja rolled her eyes it going to be Friday of course I'll be done first."Ok I'll pick up Reya." I grabbed my phone off the countertop and found Troy's phone number I sent him a quick text

hey this is Renee, Tristan has volunteered himself and you to pick up Reya from school tomorrow I just wanted to make sure that was ok. Also I work until 8PM or later can she stay with you guys until I can pick her up?

It only took a few minutes and my phone binged.

I am so excited to pickup my new little sister up from school she can come to my mom's restaurant with me and Tristan while we are working my little brother will be there too he's 12 so they can hang out in till you get here. It's Rosita's it's on Avery st.

"Troy is just the sweetest." I said out loud as I texted a thank you back to him. Reya came running out from her room.

"I'm so excited, tomorrow is going to be the best, I need to figure out what I'm going to wear tomorrow." Reya rushed back into her room.

"Make sure your homework gets done." I called to her

Matthew's POV

"Dad , Troy and I are picking Reya up tomorrow, your mate is going to get her at Rosita's after work tomorrow evening. So if you want to maybe be at the restaurant you could see her." Tristan came waltzing into my office happily.

While my wolf is excited about getting to see Renee, I had to let out a bit of a grown. I was taking Ethan back to see Renee tomorrow to check on his stiches.

"What? I thought you would be happy, you get to see your mate outside of her work and both my new step sisters are being watched out for by the pack. Why are you grumbling?"

"I'm taking Ethan to get his stiches out tomorrow, and I don't want Renee to think I'm like a stalker or something." I told Tristan.

He just laughed at me " You relize she is your mate so you kind are stalking her, I mean you know were she works?" I nodded my head, " You know were she lives," ageing I nodded my head, " and you have her phone number. Only one of these things you got with her knowledge. So just suck it up and use this opportunity to ask her out so you don't have to be a stalker anymore."

"Fine, you are right my wolf will not wait much longer for me to be close to Renee, and I haven't figured out another way to talk to her outside of work and with how fast Ethan has heals I was even running out of excuses to go to her work." I conceded to Tristan, " but I'm not a stalker and I will remember this when your mate shows up." I added

"o.k. Dad whatever you saw." Tristan said leaving my home office.

Now I'm thinking about what kind of date would be appropriate, and how long am I going to have to wait to tell her about myself and my pack. will she be able to accept everything, I know she can feel a bit of the mate bond, with the way she reacts to me every time I had been able to touch her even in the slightest way or when our eyes meet even if it's only for a moment. But I'm also worried she already knows about werewolves and may react poorly to the pack. If her daughter's really are part were then there father must be a wolf, but I don't know Renee's past. I could have hired a detective but I figured I could just ask her. My wolf is ready and I completely agree I need Renee in my life, my true mate. My first wife and mother to my two sons Amber found her mate about 2 years ago. l was genuinely happy for her, we were always best friends even a pups then we were convinced we would be mates and started dating at 17 because it seemed close enough to our 18th birthday and finding out that we were indeed mates. Then when my 18th birthday I relized we weren't mates. I told Amber that we weren't mates and we broke up no hard feelings and we remained friends. Two weeks later Amber found out she was pregnant with Tristan. We both agreed that if we found our mates we would get a divorce. Which is what we did as soon as she found her true mate.

Really Amber is definitely Luna material considering that she is mated to an Alpha from another pack. Tristan had a hard time with his mom leaving, but he is the next Alpha of our pack and Donnas new husband Jerry has a son close to the same age as Tristan, they get along fine but too many Alphas in one house can be bad.

I put my head in my hands, I reallyhope this isn't too much for Renee.
