OCD Attack

The next day. 

"Dii!! It's morning! Wake up!!" 

Nikita was sleeping under a leaf which was big enough to cover a big bed.

"What time is it?"

"It's 3rd hour Dii!"

"3rd hour?"

Nikita was half asleep so he was unable to figure out the actual time. So he looked at his status bar and saw it was 7 AM. 

"Oh, yes. It's the 3rd hour."

The fire they lit yesterday night was still running in coal, so they started the fire again to cook their food before they went outside to hunt.

"I made a plan to help you level up in a short amount of time. We will head to the east to hunt roll snails. They are level 130 and they are really slow. They don't have any attacks but their defence is S class. So it will be hard to break one's shell."

"Roll snail? What is that?"

Nikita took a bird leg out of the fire and gave it to his familier to eat. 

"They are slug-type monsters that eat trees. Big as a white wolf and they tuck and roll when they are being attacked by other monsters."

"So, they don't have any attack skills. So what will I gain if I kill them continuously?"

"Their S class defence. It's really powerful. I am not sure how many days it will take you to kill one."

"What? Days?"

"Or even months? I don't know."

Nikita was frustrated to hear that it will take him days to kill a monster. So he turned his head back to the fire to check if his food was ready. 

After that, he ate all of his food and peeked outside to see if there were any lizardman around him.

   Wow, I came here yesterday, but I was busy jumping around to save my life. But I had no idea that this place would be this beautiful.

The sky was filled with huge birds and the forest had so many colourful trees. Each one of them was different and their fruits were the size of a bus.

  They are so huge!! Well, that is normal because a tree leaf is as big as a blanket. So, the fruits are supposed to be the size of a small bus right? 

Wait. Is there any humanoid creature like us in this dungeon? If the trees were that big, my imagination would be possible.

Moreover, there are so many fruits but no one is eating them. Is it poisonous?

"Are they safe to eat?"

Nikita asked his bond to be sure because his system was offline.

"Hm… Some of them are good but they are not ripe yet Dii. We have to wait for a few weeks to harvest them Dii."

"Oh, what kind of fruit are they?"

"They are Aproki Dii. They taste sweet. But now they are sour. No one really eats them because they are not into fruits Dii. They like meat Dii."

   So, I can eat them and put them into my inventory as much as I wish. It's good then. I will save up to 10 years of fruit -_-.

"Let's go, we have to move. It's not safe to stay in one place for a whole day. The roll snail territory is safer than this area."

Both of them finished their meal and climbed down from the tree very carefully so that no monster would notice them.

They moved from that place quietly and after a few hours of running carefully, they reached the east near the waterfalls, the territory of the roll snail.

There were dead snail shells, slimy textures around the trees and the ground. It was really disgusting. 

"Now I'm sure we are in snail territory."

"Yes, Dii!"

"I feel so sick inside my stomach."

"Me too, Dii. This sticky liquid from their body looks so disgusting, but they are good medicine for wounds. I am a regular visitor to this place."

    I shouldn't ask him right? The reason why he is a regular here. I am sure it has something to do with the wounds I saw two months ago. 

But this slimy texture of this snail, I will puke everything out if a drop of that liquid touches my skin -_-. I'd rather die.

"I don't want to touch it."

"You don't have to, Dii. Go and start hunting. It will take you a long time to reach his level Dii. The more you level up, the harder it gets to level up more Dii! If it takes you to level up 1 in a week, it will take you two weeks to get promoted to the next level Dii.

Levelling up isn't that easy Dii."

    I want to level up as quickly as I can to break the death curse on my heart. Or that 6 horn devil will give me another task. I have to level up so quickly so that he can't place any death tag on my soul. Since I got a second chance, I will use it perfectly to gain more power. I want to smack the back of his head so hard that his horns will fly out of his forehead. 

"Then you should keep quiet and go search for our dinner. I will stay here."

"Okay, Dii. See you at night Dii."

The small fluffy monster went deep inside the forest to search for food while Nikita was busy checking a snail. It was big, the shell was blue and its eyes were looking around a huge leaf. The snail was preparing itself to eat its breakfast. But Nikita ruined everything.

"Why is this snail so big?"

Unbelievably, the snail was the size of a car.

To check how hard the shell was, he looked closer to it and saw his reflection on it. 

    Wow, it's so well polished. I wonder how hard it is… 

So, he slapped the shiny surface of its shell to check its thickness and the snail went inside so quickly that its slimy water flew all over the place. 

Poor Nikita was its first victim.

So, he fainted due to his OCD attack.
