Hidden Dungeon

"So tell me Dii, where did you learn that burnt meat is tastier than raw juicy meat ?"

"Instinct."

"Did your mom teach you how to burn meat? She must be so intelligent Dii."

"No, she died when I was just a small 'creature'."

   I can't mention humans in front of her. Or it will trigger the system inside her head. 

"I see, then you must be a genius! I'm glad that I chose you as my master Dii."

Both of them were passing by a huge cave with glowing stones on the walls and ceiling. Detiria was jumping like an elastic ball and moving forward while Nikita was busy putting all those stones inside his inventory. 

I don't know but they feel like they are really expensive. I can make a good sword or a dagger out of this.

The destination they were heading to was called the Kiplar dungeon. A hidden dungeon inside of the Roxilus dungeon isn't installed on the system map. From Detiria's knowledge, Kilpar dungeon was known as the swamp dungeon filled with level 200+ lizardmen monsters. 

But Nikita had to take that chance because he had to level up as soon as he could to face the main boss monster of level 50 floor.

What am I going to do with his low-level 130 body? They will kill me with a slap.

"Don't be so nervous Dii!! I know where to start. Kiplar dungeon is the best dungeon to level up Dii!"

"Hah! I will die if one of those lizardmen sees me in their territory. I'm a snake, I'm supposed to be their natural enemy."

"I will save you if you're in danger Dii! Don't forget, if you die, I will die too Dii!"

The dungeon Nikita entered was really huge. The trees were so big that the tip of the tree reached the clouds of the sky. 

The dungeon was so big that he left like he was an ant on the ground. The fallen leaf of the tree, mushrooms, even the empty shell of a slug, they were so huge that he could hide under them.

"Yes Dii!! But don't forget, the place you're calling the sky doesn't exist. It's just an illusion Dii! The lizardmen are really good at magic Dii!"

"Magic?"

    I thought only skills exist. But magic? Now I really want to learn magic. Can I make friends with a lizardman and learn magic from him?

But the image he had inside his imagination wasn't the same as the reality. They were chased by a small baby lizardman of level 190 -_-.

"Why is that thing so big!!!!!"

"They are babies Dii!!!!!"

"You gotta be joking!! They are dinosaurs!!!! A baby lizardman is the size of a T-rex!!!!"

"What is a T-rex Dii? Is that tasty??"

"Why are you laughing in this situation?? We are going to die!!"

"Hahahaha!!!"

   I can see my ancestors calling me from heaven…

After a few hours of running from this tree to that tree like gorillas, they were finally able to lose the baby lizardman.

"Oi! Coming to this place was a bad idea! We are going to die here! And we also lost our way back to the Hive!"

"Oh, don't worry, I know every part of this dungeon Dii"

"I will believe you to calm my nerves now. Tell me about their matures and lifestyle. I want to get out of here as soon as possible."

While the fluffy monster was babbling about the life of a lizardman, he cooked some bird meat he hunted days ago. He listened to its lectures attentively to make a safe strategy to kill one without losing his life. Because rushing into a fight without a proper plan can make things worse. 

The lizardmen are cold-blooded creatures that enjoy living in swamps. They are sensitive to heat and sounds and their favourite food is fish and warm things. 

Warm foods are harmful to their body but they love to eat them just like humans love to drink alcohol.

And the most important part is, they have no resistance to poison. It is a huge plus point for Nikita because he is a snake. His venom is really dangerous to those creatures who don't have venom or poison resistance.

"I guess we have a chance to live after all."

"Don't worry Dii. I know you can do it Dii!"

"Thank you." 

The place they were staying was a hole in a tree. They were hiding inside of it like baby owls. Because it was the only dry place above the wet ground. The night came down and they put out the fire so that the crickets won't come inside. 

    I heard that the crickets are above level 200 too. I feel like I've turned into an ant in this new ecosystem where power is everything. I'm at the very bottom of the food chain.

I can die if I take a small wrong step outside this world. I have to be careful.

He put out the fire as soon as the illusion sun was gone and sealed the exit by a huge leaf of the tree. He was the size of an owl compared to the tree, so it was hard for him to plug a leaf from the branch.

It was the first time he felt so weak and small in the new world.

   My legs hurt from jumping from one tree to another. But let's see the advantages here. I have shelter, food, warm clothes, a familiar monster and some power to defend myself from the other monsters. I am good for now at least, but I don't know what will happen tomorrow.

My level is not as high as those monsters, so I will have to search for weaker monsters to level up. I need to maintain the sequence or I will lose my head again in some monster's stomach.

Attacking a stronger monster will help me to level up quickly, but the chance of winning against it is 10%. There's a high risk that I will lose my life, so it's a big no-no.

I have to set my goal to level 150, then I will use my venom on them.

Hah!...

Just how many years do I have to spend here to kill the boss monster? Detiria said that the lizardmen are the low-ranking monsters here.

He looked outside through a small gap between the leaf and saw huge mountain-sized monsters moving very slowly and feeding off the trees which are as tall as a ten-story building. They are called the goats of the Kiplar dungeon. The sluggish level 500 monster that doesn't care about anything but his food.
