I woke up early this morning, walking through the school doors, expecting to see Destiny at her locker, where she usually hung around.

As weird as it was, she wasn't there.

I mean, she's Destiny Alders. She wouldn't miss a day of school if she tested positive for the coronavirus.

Kidding. Only kidding.

I left a text or two, asking if she got home safely last night. Call me a simp, but I needed to make sure she was okay.

I was planning to ask her in person, but seeing as she's not yet on school property, a text would just have to do. I couldn't wait any longer. She left my house in such a rush, which she's been doing a lot lately.

Running out.

I'm not an expert at the touchy-feely shit, but I would like to know what's up with her. Nevertheless, I do have a brain. She gets all weird and uncomfortable when I bring up my family.

Especially my mom.

And if I were to admit, this started sometime after the night I told her everything.
