Chapter 19-Chaotic Fear

Bodies fill the metro center as Salas and Astrid finish their subjugation of fear into the world. Traumatizing our heroes by slaughtering hundreds within.

"Our work here is done, shall we depart Salas?"

"Hm..." Salas nods and both he and Astrid leave the scene by the angel transportation method.

With some of the pressure gone, Crimson and Okara swallowed harshly and stood up from their hiding spots. To only be filled with dread mere seconds after. The sight of bloodied bodies fills their eyes. Organs that had been busted out of people covered the marbled panes on the ground. Lungs, hearts, chunks of brains, and intestines. It was gruesome even for them. They walked through the hefty death toll. Hearing a moan coming from within the bodies. Quickly Okara rushes to aid this badly injured person, and as he falls to his knees he picks up the familiar face.

"A-A-Asha... No, n-no!" Okara squeaked out his words as he held the adolescent teenager.

"O-Okara, i-is that you... I-I can't see anything. I-I can't hear anything i-is that you?"

Crimson slowly walks up behind Okara and stares grimly at the sight. Asta's body was torn in two his spine being the only thing left holding him together.

"I-I-I..."

"D-Don't speak Asha, s-save your breath... Please."

"I-I didn't mean, I-I-I..."

"Asha please stop..."

"I never meant to lead you here... I don't know why I was... Here..."

Asha's breathing faded and his eyes stared openly at the ceiling as he left the mortal world.

"Asha..." Okara whined his name as he held the bloodied and gored body of another friend.

Crimson stood there keeping any words to himself, but in his mind, he spoke one simple and comforting sentence. He's with his family now... Back at Bell's house Arako, Rose, Kytel, Cassa, and Ru are gathered in the living room. Waiting for Crimson and Okara's return. When a sudden knock appears on the door. Cassa quickly rushes to open it. Only to find Salla at the front door.

"Good! You guys are okay!" Salla said relieved

"Salla! Yeah, we're okay. Why are you here?"

Salla barraged in quickly explaining about the recent incident.

"There was an accident something horrible happened at the central metro. There was a0n earthquake and people were screaming and suddenly people flew out of the top and left the scene. But after the screaming stopped no one came out. I was so scared to go in that I ran and came here."

"That's horrible! I'm glad you're okay. I'm sure when Crimson and Okara get back they'll bound to explain what's going on."

"T-That's the thing... The two that flew out of the metro was Crimson and Okara!"

"W-What, that's insane you're kidding right?!" Bell stood up confused and concerned.

"It was so scary, I thought they saw me. But they flew in the opposite direction, and I was able to quickly get over here before they found me."

"This can't be, Crimson and Okara would never harm innocent people!" Cassa was in disbelief as she held Ru with worry.

"I'm sorry you guys, but I can't say I saw something else. I'm telling you the truth I saw Crimson and Okara leave the metro after murdering hundreds of people."

The room fell silent as Salla reveals this terrifying information.

"T-This is unbelievable I-I need to hear it from him. I need to hear it from Okara!"

Cassa place Ru down and stood up as she prepared to leave.

"But Cassa if you leave and you find them. What's to say they won't attack you and kill you?!" Salla exclaimed the idea as she continue getting ready to leave.

"Because Okara wouldn't attack his wife no matter how bad of a situation."

Cassa rushes out the door and began flying towards Westfall city.

Everyone was worried for her safety... Even Salla.

"I hope it's all a misunderstanding, I mean Okara and Crimson would never kill innocent people!" Cassa says as she speeds up in flight, closing in on Westfall city. As she lands she looks for a map as she finds a bus station map she traces her finger along the roads and walkways. Until she finds the central metro.

"There!" Cassa rushes quickly towards the metro.

However back at the farmhouse, a chain of events begins to take fold.

"Salla, I know we've asked you multiple times, but are you sure it was them?"

Salla's back was turned to the others hiding his facial expression.

"You know what, now that I think really hard about it..."

Salla turns revealing an evil grin that lit up his orange eyes.

"I don't think it was them, I think..."

Suddenly the appearance of Salla began to change his skin color turning to a pale green, his tied up brown hair breaks free of its hair tie. His casual outfit illusion faded to reveal his god outfit, his pointed ears revealing his missing right tip, and lastly, his teeth regained their fangs. Giving back his true appearance.

"It seems this was easier than I thought!" Suddenly Arako burst dashed at Salas. As he got close Salas grabbed hold of his body and launched him through the house's walls. While Kytel prepared to attack, Ru began crying out.

"S-S-Scary green man's back..." Ru whaled at the return of Salas.

Revealing that back then Salas was the one who scared Ru, not Kessa.

"Rose, Bell get Ru out of here I will hold him off!"

"O-Okay!" Bell said as she grabbed Ru and rushed for the hole Arako's body created.

"How noble of you! You'd risk your own life to save those that care for you! It's a shame you're going to lose it all again isn't it!"

"You bastard I'll make sure you pay for Yoppa's death! NO! I'll make sure you pay for the destruction of Yivis! My homeworld!"

Kytel burst at Salas ready to fight.

However back in Westfall city, Cassa finally arrived at the central metro and hesitated before rushing in.

"Please, please be wrong. Please don't be true."

As she leaped down the first set of stairs she quickly jolted up from her crouched position and her eyes caught sight of it all.

In her eyes, she saw the carnage. The blood, the destruction, the massacre of the people in the metro and at the very center of it. Was Crimson and Okara their backs to each other, Okara on his knees hold a blooded and gored body of Asha, Crimson looking down at the organs and innocent civilians who had died before them their blood on his hands. The sight shocked Cassa entirely. She turned and ran as quickly as she could. Crimson and Okara were mentally gone unable to notice she was even there.
