4. Escape

-At the V.E.N.O.M. headquarters-

"Welcome back, sir!"

"I brought him, he might be useful for us. Angela, do your job"

"Leave it to me" says Angela

I woke up from unconsciousness and found myself inside a capsule, with a respiration mask. This capsule filled with liquid and seems like it is connected to computers in this room, my wounds are gone, wonder what are they going to do with me.

There aren't much people in this room, they all seems like normal members. Maybe I can find my way out of here..... I see other capsules but no sign of anyone inside them. Found my sword on other side of this room, I need to reach there as soon as I break out of this. Wait, did they put the sword there intentionally? Were they confident that I won't break out? No.. it only took them one person to capture me, so me breaking out won't be much of a problem huh. Well it's still better to try than being stuck here.

I tried to move my hands but my body won't move at all! Is it because of the liquid that's inside this capsule?

Someone came towards me and that's when I pretended to be asleep, but it didn't work. "Good, you're awake."

They removed the liquid and took me out of the capsule, I thought a chance like this will never come again. As they were going to bind my hands with something like handcuffs, I punched one guy in his face and dashed towards my sword, and of course, the alarm is set on.

I have no time to waste, slashed the guy in his waist who tried to shoot me, it only took one swing to end his life, guess this sword is really something. As I sensed people coming here, I held my sword near the person's neck who was monitoring the screen, and threatened him to tell me the escape route.

"TELL ME HOW DO I GET OUT OF HERE!!"

"I DON'T KNOW!! LEAVE ME!"

"WAIT! there's a teleport button over there! Press it and you can escape!"

I didn't want to believe him but I can't afford to waste time, I got surrounded as I slashed his arm, then immediately reached for the teleport button. As soon as I got hold of it, I felt a huge force being slammed at me, it was a monstrous creature which looks like giant lizard carrying a cylinder, does no damage to the system but greatly affected me, I could barely move, I rolled over to create distance and found myself wrapped with magical string. I used all my remaining forces to press that button, I felt like my senses are slowly fading. Gusion approached me and said "well played, there won't be a next time." After that, my body started to disappear.
