14. Executioner

Alaster is showing a confident expression on his face, but it didn't take long for it to fade away.

I sensed something coming from the other side of the wall, just when I thought so, the wall shattered like a piece of glass. From which that green demon with the hammer appears.

Did he take down whole S.A.B.E.R. alone?

"You came at the right time, Terizla." says Alice, but she's barely moving on the spot.

Terizla says nothing but stares at us, I get the feeling of despair once more, I feel like being crushed into pieces just by the look of it.

I get paralyzed in fear as Terizla raises his hammer, aiming at me.

Alaster dashes towards me, holding his shield against Terizla, it's impossible to block it with a shield alone, what is Alaster thinking?

He casted a protection spell using the magic he absorbed in his shield, I completely forgot he have the ability to cast different spells using the magic he absorbs in his shield.

The hammer hits the protection spell, letting out a huge shockwave, "Lucifer! move!"

I rolled sideways so did Alaster, just as expected, he broke through the protection spell.

We can't hold off for much longer, we have to think of something else.

"You fought that orc didn't you? It's same but bigger and stronger."

He wants me to make him exhausted, but is it possible to do so? He fought so many people at once and he's barely giving off a sweat. Or does Alaster have different plans?

There's no time to think about it, but as if he can read our minds, he slams the ground with his hammer as I cast quad shadow. The shadows disappear immediately and we both fall on our knees. I've lost hope once again, he swings his hammer towards me at full force, in desperation I take out my second sword from magical storage, trying to parry his attack with both of my sword.

I thought it's all over, but as I opened my eyes, I witnessed something that was not supposed to happen at all.

Both of my swords were glowing in purple light, while holding down Terizla's attack, then Terizla lets out a scream and pushes me against the wall.

Alaster sees his chance and bashes Terizla with his shield, making him lose his balance, Terizla regains stability and hits Alaster with his hammer in high speed, Alaster tried to block it with his shield but it sent both Alaster and shield flying, Alaster got hit against a wall and the shield got stuck at the ceiling.

Terizla swung his hammer with tremendous force, which created a fissure on the floor, dark energy traveled through the cracks and Alaster, who got hit by it was writhing in agony, knocking him down.

Now it was only me and him left, we both knew there will be only one survivor.

He swings his hammer at me in attempt to smash me, I quickly move sideways and dodge the attack, I land multiple slashes on his body while he prepares for his next attack, creating distance as he lifts his hammer, after few missed hits on me, Alice and necromancer regained their consciousness.

As soon as they regained consciousness, I felt something dark crawling through my body, making me fall on my knees because of the pain.

Just when Terizla was about to land the final strike on me, Natalia appeared out of thin air, casting a huge red smoke in the hall. Causing Terizla to hesitate on whether he should attack despite the smoke but decided it would be best for him to stop.

Then something appeared in the hall, I couldn't see anything but hear the sound of metal blades. It was a massacre, when the smoke disappeared, I saw Alice and necromancer got sliced into multiple pieces, and heavily injured Terizla. Who's barely holding his hammer anymore. So this is how it feels to have a plot armour.

Natalia goes behind him and snaps his neck, killing him on the spot.

The person who created the massacre, a lady, she has fair skin, short hair, pink in color. She was dressed in noble clothes and carried two swords of the finest quality. She wore blue clothes lined in gold and a hat decorated with feathers pretty enough to be fit for a queen.

Now seems as if she took a bath with the blood of enemies.

"Both the castle and city is clear, no more sign of enemies."

"Got it." Says Natalia.

"Thank you," I say to both of them.

"It was our job, apologies for being late. Use this crystal on yourself and Alaster." Says the lady with pink hair as she hands me the crystals.

I hold the crystals near him and we both get enveloped in white light, recovering our wounds.

"What happened? Hey fanny where were you?!"

"I was dealing with the attacks in city, so was Natalia."

"I see, glad to see you safe."

"What Happened to S.A.B.E.R.?" I ask.

"They were with us in the city, I told them to check the castle and they did."

"Are they alive?"

"Yes they are, critically wounded, though."

"Glad to hear." I say

"Can you send us to other realm?" Alaster asks

"Sure, follow me." says Fanny.

"If you have anything to take out from magical storage, do it now. It doesn't work on human realm." Alaster tells me.

"Oh, thanks." I say as I take out two scrolls given to me by Hayabusa.

We reached a room where it seems to be full of computers, with few glass chambers where only one person would fit at once, that might be the teleportation device.

"Get in," says Fanny.

We both get in, after a while I feel like my senses are slowly fading.
