8. Magnolia

(One month later)

This one month was very productive as I got more proficient in the use of my elemental body. I could use it previously also, but I couldn't travel very fast because of my lacking perception and that too was only because of my observation haki.

Without it I wouldn't even be able to react a little and my speed would do more harm than good.

I also found a new characteristic of my elemental body that is different from kizaru and that is freedom. Freedom to move in any way I wish. Unlike kizaru who could only travel in straight lines and only change directions by reflecting from a surface, I can change my direction as I wish.

I can also float and fly in the air.

Another interesting thing that happened during this month is that Erza showed her desire to train. Neither Irene nor I ever forced her to train before as we both wanted her to enjoy her childhood but as it is her own wish to train, we compiled and agreed to train her, though only after reaching Magnolia.

Currently, I am standing in front of my home with all my family members as we are ready to leave the

town.

Magnolia is located in the center of the southeastern part of Fiore, with the sea and Hargeon Town not too far to the south.

Normally, it should take us about 7-8 days to reach

Magnolia as we are at the opposite end of the country BUT, we have a 400 year old walking, talking library of knowledge.

"El dear~ Did you just think about something rude~"

asked Irene with a sweet smile that didn't reach her eyes.

"No, of course not" I sweatdropped. Women have scary intuition.

Well as I was saying, we have a 400 yea- '~shiver~'

Ahem ahem, a very knowledgeable and amazing wizard like Irene with us, we can reach our destination within the blink of an eye with the help of teleportation.

"So, is everyone ready? Then close your eyes" asked Irene with a smile.

"Yes" x4 and followed her order.

"You can open them now" she said. I opened my eyes and " Amazing" we are at Magnolia.

"Uhh" I heard something and looked behind me to see Erza the others with the exception of Irene kneeling on the floor and holding their mouth.

I rushed towards them and asked worriedly "What happened?"

"Don't worry it's normal to feel nauseous when teleporting for the first time. I am more surprised that you are not looking like them" said Irene, her words relieving me and I leaned towards the others and healed them with my magic.

After they were back to normal, we all gazed at the town and were momentarily left awed.

Magnolia possesses a large built-up area, extending over a large, rectangular surface to the shores of Sciliora lake. Splitting the town vertically and horizontally is a series of large roads. The whole place is western in style, with its buildings being mildly reminiscent of neat Medieval ones. Located almost in the middle of the town, overlooking Central Path, a horizontal road where events and parades are held, is Kardia Cathedral, one of Magnolia's most important and distinctive landmarks and in the northernmost part of the city, sitting on the shore of Lake Scilliora, about 4-5 kilometers up the Magnolia central path is the Fairy Tail's building.

Magnolia has a population of 60,000 inhabitants, and is a merchant city that has been prosperous in Magic since the ancient era. Such a reputation was supported by the fact that the town, houses the strongest Guild in Fiore, Fairy Tail.

After admiring the beauty of the town for some time, we decided to head directly to the fairy tail guild as it is still a few hours till dark.
