"Would you stop singing!?" said an annoyed voice while breaking rocks with a pickaxe.

"Atleast he's trying to lighten up the mood instead of the same old gloomy one." Refuted another voice while carrying bricks.

"Dino, I think singing will only even make you more tired." said a voice beside him.

"It's fine Erza, it gives a lighter mood to this already depressing place, right?" Said Dino to Erza.

"W-Well yes, but don't you think that you should waste your energy since they're going to drain your magic again later." said Erza filled with worry.

"It's fine, if it can make you hapoier then everythings alright. Besides, you always recharge my energy everytime they finish, right?" said Dino with a cheeky smile breaking rocks with a pickaxe while Erza blushes and turns her head.

"Grrr, why don't you just continue working!" Yells a voice beside them.

"Chill out Simon, you're not going to get a girlfriend a that rate." Teased Dino making Simon give him a menacing glare while Erza blushes even harder.

"Are you sick Erza?" says Dino while holding Erza's cheeks and touching her forehead with his.

"Y-yes! I-I'm feeling fine!" She replies hurriedly trying to shake Dino's hold off her.

"Well... If you say so." he says with worry while releasing his hold on her.

"Stop flirting with each other!" Simon shouts with anger and jealousy in his eyes.

"Stop shout and get back to your cells! And you, come with me it's time to drain you!" Shouts a masked man to the children while pointing to Dino.

Dino follows the man and goes to a special room where his amgic is absorbed by those masked people.

While being tied to the wall and the masked men attaching the magic drain equipment, Dino was lost in his thoughts.

It's been a month and a half since the year changed to X776 since he arrived in the 'tower of heaven'.

Why didn't he try to escape? Well there are various reasons.

First is the tower is also called the 'R-system'. A gigantic magic tool to resurect the dark wizard Zeref. Dino's first thought was that if it was possible to ressurect Ur with the tower.

But when he found out that it also needs human sacrifices, he stopped his plans to use the system to revive her and just tried to take and remember the research and about the process of ressurection.

The second reason was because of the people/slaves. He's seen a lot of people dying during the construction of the tower, but he lacks the strength to help. Why does he lack strength? It's because of the third reason.

The third one is because of the magic sealing cuffs. Not only does it seal his magic, but it also weakens him because of it, and due to the fact that his magic reserves are always being drained he is always in a weakened state.

A/N: I dont know how the magic sealing cuffs work so I made it that it works the same as sea cuff stones which weakens the devil fruit users. Remember that he has dragon blood in him, think of it as devil fruit energy or something since dragons are made of magic, right?)

But althought his magic is sealed, that doesn't mean that he can't train his physical body.

So durning the time he is made as a slave, he trained his body to the limits. He can alos feel that his magic reserves are increasing because of the daily 'draining' he recieves from the masked men.

After the magic 'draining', the masked men gives a bit more food to Dino (they always do it) for him to be able to work again tomorrow.

As he is being escorted out, one masked guy asks "Why don't you just tie him up here forever? He's a good battery for the tower?"

"You're probably new here, right? You see, excluding his magic capacity, he also has a strong physique. So if we just drain him of his magic, then he will still have some strength left. So we make him work to his limits, then drain him of his magic. It's a win-win situation for us. The tower can be made faster, and we have a walking battery, besides; we saw how he gives the food we give him to those children slaves, right? We lessened their rations. Hehehehhe, I bet that if he knows he will vomit blood. Hahahahha!" Said the fat masked man.

Going back to his 'room', Dino sees the people he's been with for the past month.

Erza, Grandpa Rob, Jellal, Simon, Millianna, Sho, and wally.

"You're finally back! Are you hurt? Are you feeling fine? Do you need help?" Says Erza rushing towards Dino giving him a hug while asking if he's fine.

"Tch"

"What's the matter Simon? Why are you clicking yoyr tongue?" Asks Millianna innocently looking at him.

"Nothing. Why does he have to be pampered everytime?" Simon replies.

"It's fine right? He gives the food to us so I think a little pampering is fine." Said Millianna

Dino then shares the food to the other children and their grandpa Rob and lies down on the floor.

"Dino, you can lay on my lap if you want to... Again..." Says Erza embarassingly while patting her thighs.

Dino complies since she always forces him to do it ever since he started being a battery.

(A/N: Shit, it feels like 'a princess got save by a man and falls inlove with him route.' Is it too forced?)

While laying down, he can feel the stare of Jellal and Simon on him clearly feeling envy and jealousy, while Erza caresses his long black hair, playing with it.

After eating, Jellal stand up and the other children look at him and says, "Guys, we can finally escape. Thanks to Sho, we managed to a small tunnel going outside."

"What about the others? What about granpa Rob?" asks Dino, waking up from his nap.

"Don't worry about that, if we can escape and tell the world about the tower, we can save everyone." replies Jellal with confidence.

"But if we can't?" Dino asks again.

"Then what should we do then!?" Jellal shouts clearly angry at him.

"We fight. We may not beat them in individual strength, but we can beat them in numbers." Dino says staring at Jellals eyes seriously.

"Do you seriously think that everyone will fight!? Can't you see that everyone can die anytime from the work they're doing!? Huh!?" Jellal says whil grabbing Dino's collar.

"Stop fighting!" said Erza while going in between the two while hugging Dino.

"Erza... come with us, we can finally get out of this place. If we can get out we can save everyone else." said Jellal while stretching his hand towards Erza.

"I-" Erza tries to grab it but pulls her hand at the last minute, then looks at Dino with a look that's asking her what she should do.

Dino caresses her and and tells her, "Just do what you want to do Erza. I'll support you."

Erza thinks for a while before saying, "Then we'll go with you Jellal." then looks at Dino, "Are you coming with us too Dino?" she says with pleading eyes.

Dino looks at her with a tender look and replies, "Of course, someone needs to protect you right?"

"Uhm." Replies Erza blushing as red as her hair while Simon glares at them while Jellal feels that he somehow lost something important.

The group of children then waited for the right time before going throught the tunnel they made, but after exiting.

"Well, well, well, what do we have here? A bunch of shitty slaves trying to escape?"

Okay so I forgot about that there was a year gap or so from the Deliora incident and the Tower of Heaven. But since there was not specific date it wen't like this.

Gray was taken in by Ur at somewhere July-August X774, after some training and Mc comes, Deliora is sealed at December X774. So the one year training of Dino is around late December X775 or early January X776, I am explaining just so everyone will have an understanding and not think that MC will stay at tower of heaven for a year or so.

Anyway, I'm drinking to remove some fatigue.
