Author is a Ghost

Two more cars passed by after that. And of course, I wouldn't let this opportunity escape.

I sat in the backseat of the car and the moment the driver looked at the car's rearview mirror, he saw me looking at him, with the creepiest smirk I could ever plaster. As a result? He drove like crazy until I reached the maximum range of 10 meters and left his sight.

I continued messing around with the bypassers until nighttime. And when night hit, I started to feel bored of this shitty act.

Recalling the system, I was most likely in need to fulfill that last will before I could transmigrate.

But what was that desire? Hmmm… Could it be my gdrive that was full of my darkest secrets, and I unconsciously wished them to be deleted?

Or maybe my last volume that needed to be published? No, no, that couldn't be it.

I knew I was not that lowly. My desire for those things was not that strong to constrain me. Hmmm. Then what could it be?

I wandered around the area and watched the sunset. It was a scenery that was always right beside my house but I didn't spend time appreciating on. Only now did I feel the beauty of the sky turning kinda orange, with the sun moving downwards, and the clouds dancing back and forth. It felt like an eternity as I watched the mesmerizing sunset with a sweet smile.

Birds flew along with the chilly wind that brought peace to my soul. Unbeknownst to me, my soul was shining with gladness.

At this moment, I felt regret for locking myself in the box which was my room. I didn't spend time socializing nor went out often. Only when I had something important to buy did I go out.

It all started that day… when I was 4. Agghhhh, my head hurt whenever I think of that moment. If my mind had the delete option, I would have deleted that memory by now.

Now that I had thought about it, this was probably my first time laughing to this extent. It was fun. I had fun.

So it was true that only in an unretractable moment would people realize their mistakes. Regret indeed lied at the end of the road.

If I were to be given a chance, I would like to spend it living a life of no regrets. Only if…

The otherworld.

The last will surged in my mind again. Just what was it?

I was now looking at the lake, pondering over my dead body… wait, that was it! My dead body!

My freaking dead body!

It needed to be discovered. That could be the appropriate solution.

"Where is that ghost, huh? Bring that ghost to me! I'm not afraid in the slightest!"

Looking behind me, I saw a group of people gripping a flashlight tightly. There were 5 of them, with the girl in the rear being familiar.

Ahh, that was the girl with the headset on, earlier. Wasn't she getting fearless? Haha

In the forefront was a man that was kind of burly. His hand wrapped around the girl's waist.

Ahhh, it was the generic scene of a man trying to be cool in front of his girl.

So lovely. Fuck off!

Seeing their lovely gestures and the man uttering sweet words, I couldn't help but be touched. So, I made a plan.

This should be more well planned than last time. For the sake of their little romance.

"I can't see the ghost, just where is it?", the burly man uttered in a very proud way.

"Maybe it got scared by you, Brother?", his followers praised

"Yes, yes, that is probably the case. By your aura alone, anyone, even the gods, would kneel!", another loyal henchman said

"It is o---only around this corner", the girl stuttered from fear.

Ohh little girl, please not be afraid of this measly soul. Shit!

"It is not here, maybe you are just hallucinating, sugarpie? Let's leave now", said the man then turned his back and was planning to leave.

But it was their biggest blunder, turning their back on the unknown. Immediately, I hatched my plan.

As the man turned his back, the flashlight moved accordingly. The small light touched the greeny grass on the ground, it slowly went upwards, lighting up the root of a tree, then its trunk, its branch, and finally, my face that was vaguely hidden in the leaves.

*grin*

"Acckk!!!!, that was him!", the girl run in haste, not minding the people she was with.

The other loyal henchmen followed her, with terror flashed over them, raising the fine hairs on their back.  Now what was left was the burly man that was seemingly unbothered.

Hoho, quite a brave fellow, weren't you? You must be too stunned to react, weren't you?

*step*

Fuck! He was walking towards me!

*rustle*

The greeny grass continued to rustle as the burly man walked. He was freaking brave!

Shit, little girl, you hit a gem this time!

The man continued to walk towards and freak, yeah, he was fearless!

*shudder*

What the fuck? Why was I the one getting ghostbumos?!

I was just kidding man, hehe. Please be kind to this weak soul? Please???

Shit, it was too late. The man reached me and pulled the tree out of its root, with ease. So his burly body wasn't there just for display?! F*ck!

Seemed like I messed up with the wrong person.

By his action, my foggy and dark soul was now revealed. I was still floating there until he stretched his hand and flashed his light on me. Sh*t my eyes!

"Say, who are you?"

What the frick? Was he an exorcist? Was I finally leaving this world? Finally?

Wait, would I still be able to get transferred to another world if I got exorcised? That was not possible right, after all, my soul was the medium of transfer. I could not lose it!

With my foggy soul turning hazier, I flew away, hiding from this man's sight. He was dangerous!

I was about to run when at it was at this moment, I saw the familiar black truck approaching from meters away.

He was going the same path as he hit me. I could have ignored this truck but something made me sentimental.

The driver had his eyes bloody red and was oozing with madness. Along with the smoke of the truck were fumes coming out of this man's filthy mouth as he inhaled and exhaled some substance from the paraphernalia. What was more maddening was that he was holding the paraphernalia with his right hand, while his left hand was holding the steering wheel, causing a bumpy ride.

Not to mention that with his speed of 90 mph, anyone would have died from the impact alone.

Gladly, no one was on the road…Sh*t! Get out there, girl!

Shit this. I saw the girl from earlier that was running from fear, crossing the road, clueless from the truck. Shit, just why did she have her headphones on again???!

The burly man that was about to chase me, saw this scene as well. He stopped on his track and shouted to the girl. "Sugarpie!", but it was pointless.

I didn't know just when she put that freaking humongous headphones on, and that would most likely cause her death.

The girl continued to run along the road but alas, was she dancing???! F*ck. The girl was twerking in the middle of the street!

Just what music was she playing?! Dancing could be dangerous indeed…

The burly man run at his fastest speed which even amazed me. It was a hella 2 meters per second! But no matter how fast he was, it was too late…

With the girl twerking her butt out, the truck finally reached her…

I couldn't do anything, I was only a measly soul who couldn't even touch a leaf. When the truck was only inches away from the girl, it was at this moment that memories from my death earlier surged in my mind like a wave.

My deeply-buried anger arose and I could feel my insides swirling with emotion. Regrets, anger, sadness, and all. F*ck! I shouldn't have died! My mom would be sad. She would be left alone!

It was the thought that I kept denying. There were only two of us remaining, me and my Mom. And with me leaving, she would be alone. I should not have died!

F*ck this truck! F*ck you driver!

I wasn't certain but I felt something from within me, escaping my soul. It was an extension of something I didn't know. It flew at a speed unimaginable, until it reached the track that was only an inch away from the girl, then in a very delightful manner, punch that massive truck with a huge force.

F*ck!

What was that?!

I was speechless. I couldn't remove my gaze from the truck that was now thrown on the roadside. Though not looking, I believed that the other guys were probably as stunned as I was right now.

Hella! That was freaking creepy! And amazing!

What was that force? I wasn't certain but I'm sure of one thing, that was caused by me!

Had I awakened my heavenly-piercing talent? Was Earth a novel all along and I was the Main Prodigy? Sh*ttttttt!

It was exciting.

I felt my heart *cough*, my soul twisting with joy.

I had the power!

After a few seconds of being in a daze, the other guys realized the creepiness of this place and immediately, left at their quickest speed. Of course, the burly man was among them, he probably figured out my hidden strength and decided that he couldn't take me on. Ho ho. Just kidding.

Before he left, he didn't forget to throw uncountable punches toward the driver that was crawling out of the thrown-over truck.

As a result, the driver fainted. Heck yeah, he deserved it.

Surely, I didn't let this chance out and discreet, throw futile punches that only passed through his swelling face.

"Ahhh, yeah, I'm still a ghost"
