Pure hobgoblins death

Now that the pure hobgoblin had a more fit and muscular physique Orion felt a pressure that was a bit heavier then its original aura.Orion then began to wonder as his face and internal organs were being restored by his body's accelerated healing.

The first questions that entered Orions mind was what happened to the pure hobgoblins fat? as well as what kind of magic did the pure hobgoblin use?.Its fat couldn't have disappeared into nothingness so it must have been burned up or used to strenghen the hobgoblins body.The magic probably had something to do with flesh.

"Whatever the spell is I have no use for it.An undead can't build up fat and I also possess the cannabilism skill which allows me to gain stats by consuming organisms.Although perhaps it would have been useful in my old life."Orion then thought back to his old life.

Orion used to be quite chubby when he was in primary school.This gave him some issues with the other children as they appeared to be fatphobic.Orion was insulted and bullied at times but he didn't let it drag him down.He decided to make a change by exercising regularly and having a diet.By the time Orion got to secondary school he was slender and fit yet he wasn't overly muscular.Orion didn't maintain contact with any of the people from his primary school as he didn't really care about them.He did maintain contact with his best friend but he ran into some other issues with him as well as having issues in secondary school.However now was not the time to dwell on these past issues.

The pure hobgoblin smirked at Orion as though it was over for him but Orion smirked back.Orion delved into his mana pool and reinforced his physical body.The temparature began to decline around Orion as frost formed around him.Orions physical strengh was now back to being greater then the hobgoblins.Orions physical speed and durability was also greatly enhanced.

The hobgoblin had now reached Orion and was towering over him.It then threw a punch which Orion evaded by moving his head to the side and then countered by throwing his own punch.The punch landed but didn't have much impact which was probably due to the fact that Orion was an amateur in close based combat.Luckily the same went for the pure hobgoblin.

Both opponents had zero experience or training in unarmed combat yet they launched constant attacks on the others body.At one point Orions attacks began having more of an effect on the hobgoblin as blood rained down its nose and mouth.There were also multiple arrows and cuts on its right side as it continued enduring attacks from Viron and Ruth.

There was a reason Orions attacks were having more of an effect but it wasn't because of some bullshit anime power up where he got stronger the more he fought or the power of friendship.It was because he started putting his back into each and every punch.

This didn't last long however as the pure hobgoblin realised what Orion was doing differently and began to copy him.Orion then reeled back from a heavy attack on his side and then lowered his guard enough for the hobgoblin to the strike his face.Orion had an inferior constituition so he was taking more damage.He then realised that he had to adopt a different strategy if he wanted to win.

Orion materialised one extremely thick,dense and thin ice shard behind his back.He reached a hand behind him and got punched in the face by the hobgoblins fist.Orion retaliated by grabbing the ice shard and plunging it into the hobgoblins face much to its surprise.

The hobgoblin had been enjoying the bout and was looking forward to beating Orion into submission.It was shocked when Orion pulled an ice stake out of thin air and stabbed it into its face.It immediately thought that Orion had cheated the bout due to using magic.The hobgoblin then remembered however that no rules had been declared at the start of the bout.This wasn't a fight with his brothers in a sparring match.This was a fight between enemies in the real world.There simply were no rules.

The hobgoblins thoughts dimmed and disappeared as the long ice stake in Orions hand buried itself through the face and skull and then found itself in the hobgoblins brain.The hobgoblin fell to the ground lifeless as Orion proceeded to collect its corpse in his space ring.Orion also collected the regular goblin corpses into his space ring.

"That was one hell of a slugfest but you need more experience in combat.I'll have to advise Archmage Mandar to train you although he is busy at the moment."Torrent said as he looked at Orion.

Orion then took out the special enchanted net that Mandar had given him.He wanted to capture the chef goblin inside the house and get things done.
