Di Fuyi frowned. He recalled the time when Gu Xijiu first came to this world. She had a strong distrust toward people and always kept her guard up. After she was married Di Fuyi, things had changed. She learned to rely and depend on him. She knew that as long as he was there, she would not have any difficulties or obstacles. She would sleep beside him like a baby.

Unexpectedly, in just a matter of days, she was back to her old habits of insecurity. In this dangerous world, it does not hurt to be a little bit careful. However, no one would ever know the price she had paid to return to this condition. It was natural for people to change overnight once they experienced something traumatic. 

Di Fuyi was clearly uncomfortable, but he whispered softly, "Don't be afraid. Sleep well." Gu Xijiu tried to resist it but could not fight against the sleepiness. Finally, she fell asleep and would not be awaken even if there was thunder!
