Esmeray Reis, once a princess, now lives her life like a bespectacled wallflower to stay far away from people's attention until one day she is compelled to enter the Royal Castle disguised as a maid. "Mhm... I had so much wine. Why can I still see everything straight?" Esme mumbled under her breath as she walked in the hallway, making her way towards Aleister's room, "Was that wine not potent? Why am I not drunk?" she pouted as she pushed the door.

She was greeted by the sight of his broad back as soon as the door opened. Aleister was pacing around the room.

As if he noticed her presence, he turned around to look at her, ''Did you go somewhere?'' He asked while scanning her from head to toe.

''What are you doing?" Esme glanced at the man who was staring at her intently.

''I was making sure that you are fine. What else?"

Her heart fluttered at his words even though she wished it didn't. You still know how to make sure that I am fine, huh?
