Ignition of the dying flame

Carl and Elliot launch their attacks at each other. They seem to be evenly matched in terms of strength and agility. 

Carl:(Thinking)

Hey, this kidds not bad. To think his the same kid who wouldn't hold a sword back in the day. I can feel from our swords colliding that he has years of experience to support those fancy moves of his. 

Elliot:(thinking)

What a beast. Although it looks like we're equal, there's no doubt that he's only toying with me. I'm at a disadvantage. But, this is fun! 

James:(impressed)

Incredible. I knew the young master was a sword genius, but to be able to keep up with Carl like this? 

Yolanda:

What do you mean? 

James:

It's simple really. The young master did all his training in secret, what's more. He trained himself. You can see by his movements alone that the sword path he uses isn't like that of house Dragonuv. 

Rosé:

To think that he didn't show his strength until his father died. What a cunning man he is. 

Jacob:(confused)

W-w-whats going on? Just how did he get this powerful? 

Charles:(frightened)

I must be dreaming, there's no way that's Elliot. 

Martha:(confused)

Just what on Earth is going on here? 

(A clash of blades manages to send a Shockwave around the grounds. After dodging a attack from Carl, Elliot manages to land a hit by slashing him in the chest, sending Carl to one knee.)

Yolanda:

He did it? He wo- 

James:

No. The real fight starts now. 

Carl:(laughs)

You know. You're a lot of fun. You felt it too right? earlier when our blades clashed you had fun like me. I'm sorry. But, playtimes over. Round two. 

Carl punches Elliot and sends him flying. He moves at high speed and tries to stab him in the heart. However, Elliot quickly rolls out of harm's way. He gets to his feet but finds Carl already next to him. Carl hits him with a super kick to the face. 

Jesicca:(crying)

Elliot!! 

Yolanda:

That fool. I told him not to get a big head. Now look at him. His getting destroyed out there. 

Camillia:

James, you have to save him. 

Marki:

I'm affraid that's impossible. Should your forces disrupt the duel. I'll be forced to disqualify your house and declare house Rosélei as the winners. 

(After suffering multiple kicks and punches from Carl, Elliot seems to be moving slower. After another strong punch, Elliot falls to his knees. Carl puts a sword to his neck.) 

Carl:

Do you give up? 

Elliot:(Thinking)

Man. This guys strong. I have no doubt that his stronger than James. Even if they're of the same rank. The gap is wide. But, for some reason I wanna continue fighting him. Why,Why do I want to continue? 

(Elliot begins to have a flashback to his old life as Raphael. He and the real Elliot just finished training.) 

Elliot:

Say, Raphael. How did you get so strong? No matter how much I try, I can never beat you. 

Raphael:

It's simple. When my backs against the wall, that's when I truly shine. My strength comes from nearly dying. The adrenaline consumes me and I become alive. 

Elliot:

So. What you're trying to say is you're a battle junkie? I didn't see that coming. Although it does make sense. After defeating the mist dragon and bath in its blood, you did inherit its healing factor and stamina. That alone made you into this monster of a man. 

Raphael:

Don't call me that. Besides a baby Drake doesn't qualify to be called a Dragon. 

Elliot:

I do have a question though. What will happen if you face a enemy you can't beat? 

Raphael:

That's easy. I'll just have reach for new heights and evolve right there in the middle of our fight. 

(Back to the present) 

Carl:

I'll ask again. Do you surrounder, Elliot Dragonuv? 

Elliot:

... 

Carl:

I see, you chose death. 

(Carl swings the sword aiming for his neck. But at the last second a powerful wave is given off by Elliot. The wave manages to push Carl away. 

Charles:

Elliot used Aura? he must be disqualified. 

Marki:

No, this isn't aura. 

Martha:

What do you mean it's not aura. What is it? 

Jacob:(afraid)

B-b-Bloodlust. 

Marki:

It seems Elliot Dragonuv has awoken his Dragon blood... at such a young age. Interesting (smiles) 

Carl:

You awakened your Dragons blood? And sensing by the increase of you're aura, you've also reached the 5th Rank. Impressive. 

Before Carl stood Elliot but unlike his normal self. He had acquired small scales on his hands, ears almost as long as elven, with both eyes glowing like a beast and two small fangs. 

Rosé:

James, at what age did his father awaken his blood? 

James:

26, my lady. 

Rosé:

And he was set to be youngest. To think Elliot would break his record. That's incredible. A true genius.

Carl:

Come at, Dragonuv! 

Elliot:

With pleasure. Round three. 

Both men charge at each other one last time. Elliot attacks and drives back Carl with his brute force. Carl suffers multiple wounds but is still hanging in the fight. After exchange blows, he sees an opening in Elliots attack pattern and uses it to his advantage to land a solid slash on Elliot. 

Carl:(exhausted)

I'm at my limit here. But, it looks like I'm not the only one. 

Elliot:(exhausted)

You notices? I can't keep my awakened form stable anymore. After this move it will be over. 

Carl:

Same here. Let's see whose resolve is stronger. 

Carl charges at Elliot,who just closes his eyes and stands still. Elliot does nothing but close his eyes and breaths in and out slowly. At the very last second, he jumps up avoiding Carl's attack and attacks Carl with a counter. Carl tries to block it by holding his sword up. However,the momentum on Elliots sword was to much. This resulted to him breaking Carl's sword and leaving Carl with a large wound on his chest. 

Marki:

The winner of the duel. Arch-duke Dragonuv. That means house Dragonuv are the victors by securing 2 out of 3 wins. Congratulations, Sir Dragonuv. You now own all right to the mine.
