I woke up ridiculously warm and comfortable, my head fuzzy and my body aching slightly. Not as much as it should have considering I'd been shot.
The memory of the burning pain of the silver made me whimper slightly, curling closer to the heat source I was wrapped around. The last thing I wanted to remember was what the pack wolf had told me as he tried to kill me.
That, though, pulled me out of the comfortable haze. Sighing, I started to pull away from what had kept me so warm- and froze when I opened my eyes to know why I was so at ease. My heat source was Cean. My heart was in my throat as I quickly backed away, worried as I catalogued the aches in my body. All over, but some of them could be explained through more than just the silver.
