Chapter 3, First Sect?

The Earth broke apart as two individuals flew at a breathtaking speed. Soon they arrived in a rich neighborhood.

There they stopped running and quietly entered.

"I won."

"You cheated."

They bickered as they strolled through the neighborhood. Soon arriving at a specific house, Alastor slapped Jackson on the head before ringing the doorbell.

A few seconds passed before the door quietly opened a young man stepped out.

"Oh hello Alastor what do you need?"

"Hey hey what about me I'm here too." Alastor and Daemon ignored him.

"Daemon I was wondering if you wanted to join me in building a Sect?"

"A Sect? Sure we can be powerhouses together in the future. But what will we name it?"

"Eh well we don't want it to be a Sect that focuses on something specific so..how about Boundless Paths?"

"Boundless Paths? I mean that makes sense but how should we get others to join. Its only the three of us right now."

"Right, we will discuss that later. For now we should focuse on making the Sect."

A few hours flashed as the three could be seen on a tall mountain trying to use their qi to make a building.

"Haha its beautiful!" Jackson smiled proudly looking at the crude hut he made of earth qi seemingly about to fall to the ground.

"Maybe building isn't our specialty." Daemon said with a chuckle as he looked at the treehouse he made that was charred black.

Glancing over he looked at Alastor before his eyes twitched violently.

"Fucking show off."

Cursing under his breath he stared in amazment at the castle built out of thin air. It was huge and covered half the mountain. He doubted his existence because he only saw it now.

The castle shown with dominance as it had countless kinds of qi flowing through it. However nine types of qi dominanted over them all, they were of course the ones he made from his foundation.

"Haha its great. Now we should continue cultivating don't you think?"

He looked at his dumbfounded compainons.

"Uh sure.."

A few days passed in a instant, time seemed irrelavant in this time of peace and prosperity. Nature slowly regained balance in this world as people were too focused on getting stronger. Most people had no need for food as of now.

At foundation establishment you have built a pillar of qi that nourishes your body.

Now the weakest person is at the 9th stage of Qi Gathering.

Peace layed through the world but it was already a known fact the governments have fallen. Soon talented and untalented would make groups. Cities, sects, guilds, fantasy kingdoms will arrive as the new have replaced the old.

But now missles and nukes were still a great threat. The government clung to this tiny safety.

The media was still up and blasting as famous people died to haters or new celebraties popped up.

However most of it was related to the top ten. Only a few people from the top ten have come out and received fame.

Looking into the bright blue sky at the scroll, Alastor smiled happily.

He basically skipped Golden Core as it was tightly related to your foundation. It was as easy as drinking water.

Golden core started as a false core before becoming a true core. At true core you could mobilize half your spiritual mound at will. After that it was Golden Core Peak, then you can use three fourths of your spirit mound at will. Then it is Perfected Golden Core where you can use your spirit mound at will, at this stage you can self destruct your spiritual mound.

He had absolute mastery over his spiritual mound now. As well he has formed a Nascent Soul, technically he could survive a nuke but at the cost of his body. His soul should survive but he would be extremely weak.

Ignoring his thoughts he looked at his two friends who were cultivating nearby. Daemon had reached the Peak of Foundation establishment while Jackson has formed a false core.

"Daemon do you have a way to get more people to join our Sect?"

"Eh well I could post it on the media but I doubt many people will see it. I can go around and find people to join."

"Alright do what you have to then."

Hearing this Daemon shrugged before leaving to find more Sect members.

Walking down the mountain, Daemon glanced at the sky.

It could be said that Alastor is currently the one everyone has eyes on. After all he is leagues ahead of the one in second place.

Looking at the sky it suddenly shifted, a new scroll appeared in the sky.

There was only one name on it showing that Lin Feng has become a Sword Apprentice.

"Thats a thing too? Guess I have to find a weapon."

The scroll itself said Weapon Mastery meaning any weapon can be used not just a sword.

...

Alastor looked at the sky with a bit of displeasure but mostly interest.

"So I have to find a weapon? But what weapon..."

He sat thinking for a while before gathering qi toward him.

He carefully and slowly formed a halberd that was a few inches taller then him.

It buzzed with nine different qi harmonously gathering in it.

Slowly taking shape a frightening powerful aura burst out.

Looking at this he was a bit hesitant before his eyes turned firm. A golden light flew from his forehead straight toward the halberd. The light started to merge with the halberd with great difficulty.

Alastors face was covered in pain as he forced his nascent soul to fuse with this qi.

The surroundings blew up as they tried to fuse, a great explosion blew the castle to oblivion. Thankfully Jackson already left when he felt the surging qi.

Explosions kept ringing out as the rejected eachother. The mountain had already flattened beyond recognition. Alastor himself was bloodied and churned as he forced ever part of his body to focus on fusing his Nascent Soul with this halberd of qi.

The range of destruction kept expanding as this continued. Cultivators escaped futher and further in fear.

Suddenly a explosion bigger than all of the others erupted. Alastors Nascent soul finally fused with the halberd as it emitted a terrifying aura. The surrounding space cracked under its aura.

"Haha I'm so smart. You shall be the Space Shattering Halberd!" His voice resounded loudly across the country.

He smiled in joy as he grabbed the halberd as it buzzed in response. Although technically this halberd wasnt yet a real weapon as it was formed from qi. It was extremely powerful from the fusing of his Nascent soul.

He swung it around a bit before pondering as he looked at it. He flew into the sky looking at the massive amount of destruction.

He stood in the air in deep thought, looking at his barren surroundings he lifted his halberd up before adjusting a few times finding a comfortable position. He flashed forward swinging his halberd as it made rings of explosions as it slashed down. It broke the air with a sonic boom a long slash was formed on the barren pit, it formed a long ravine almost as deep as the Grand Canyon. Stretching across a few miles as it reached the edge of the barren wasteland.

He smiled as he sensed the frantic qi in the surroundings as he looked at the sky.

Just on a thought he instantly surpassed Lin Fengs hard work. It could be said his comprehension is countless times more terrifying then his cultivation talent.

His happiness turned a little grim seeing that he had no clothes and his phone has been destroyed.

Before he could think any longer he felt that the qi inside him was buzzing. He could break through at any time, he flew down the ravine before stopping in the middle. He used his qi to carve out a little cave and flew inside to begin to break through.
