DxD: King of Curses

Every legend has a beginning and an end. But sometimes, there are legends that don't follow the rules, and the story never has it's end. This story is such a case. Follow the adventures of Ryōmen Sukuna, as he brings chaos to this world while having fun along the way. And he is going to have fun in every immoral and sadistic way possible. But maybe, someone can stop him and cease the massacres? ------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't own any rights on High School DxD nor Jujutsu Kaisen. Cover is not my either. If the author of this cover has any complaints, then be sure to write and I will remove it. ------------------------------------------------------------------- Basically, it is DxD Fan-Fic with Sukuna as the main character. The story will start way before actual canon, but there isn't a lot of info about the past in DxD, so I will just skip or use something from actual mythologies. There will be a lot of bullshit, especially at the start, but I will try as much as I can. If there is something that I could do better, then please write in comments. No harem btw! Enjoy reading~

End of the era

This night was a nightmare for all sorcerers all over Japan.

Every clan, every small Sorcerer family was attacked most ruthlessly. Curses and Curse Users didn't have mercy on any of them.

Sorcerers were slaughtered like pigs. They tried to fight back but it was pointless. They were fighting not only against Cursed Spirits but also evil sorcerers. They could win on their clan area, but it was proven pointless as well. All their barriers were destroyed from the inside and traitors were attacking from behind. All were killed and all were stolen. Only a few lucky Sorcerers could escape from their hands.

As the first sun rays descended on this world, people could see the grand yet horrific scenes all over Japan. They saw how early sunlight was landing on the rivers of blood, making it shine like countless gemstones.

A destroyed compound of the clan Kei

You could see a man sitting on top of the throne that was made from skulls. He was colored in red and blood was dripping from his previously bright kimono. The scene looked majestic yet horrifying. It was as a Demon King himself was mocking the world of mortals.

In front of him, a sorcerer was crawling. From all people he killed last night, he amused Sukuna the most. His will was strong, very strong. He didn't give up even when his friends and family were tortured in front of him. Yet, after countless hours of watching scenes that were worse than exhibitions in the deepest part of Hell, he finally gave up. Sukuna even praised this sorcerer in front of him for not trying to plead for his life like a beaten dog.

He lifted two of his finger on the right hand and slashed in a casual way towards the sorcerer in front of him. With this done, he slowly jumped off of his made-up throne and walked towards the gates.

It was actually hard to tell that those were gates because all that was around him, were ruins. Shrines and palace were collapsed, slashes were seen everywhere. Some fresh blood still dripping from the wooden walls, and limbless or headless corpses lying everywhere around. For some, it may look disgusting, and they would puke right away, but for Sukuna it was a fantastic scene that he would look at for years straight.

When he came closer to the gates, he saw Tamamo standing there. She had her nine tails covered in the blood slowly and gracefully swinging from side to side. Her face and clothes were also covered in blood, pieces of broken bones, and even some brain liquid. Despite all that, and the fact that corpses were surrounding her, an innocent smile was adorning her face.

"Hey, Tamamo, are you done here?" Sukuna lazily waved his hand towards Tamamo. When she heard Sukuna's voice, she quickly ran to Sukuna and stopped when she was right in front of him. "So? Are yo–" He was interrupted by a sudden sensation on his right cheek.

When she arrived in front of him, she quickly bent over to his right cheek and suddenly kissed him on the same cheek. She then quickly stepped back. "Thanks for this wonderful night. I needed to let off a little bit of steam." Those words said she ran towards a hill that was not far away.

Sukuna was surprised a little bit. He didn't feel any hostility from her, so he didn't even try to block her. But now that he thought about it, he clicked his tongue in annoyance. 'Tsk, now I have to deal with this Kitsune... Thanks for this night, huh? Haah... Certainly, she must be one of the most annoying people in the world.' He soon dismissed those thoughts and slowly walked to where Tamamo ran.

Japan. It was a country, where a lot of factions lived. Youkai's, Jujutsu Sorcerers, Shinto gods, and also people from Five Principal Clans. Also, most of the Cursed Spirits lived here, though they weren't really united, so it couldn't be considered as a faction. But now, it finally changed.

Most Special Grades Cursed Spirits and Curse Users joined Sukuna. He was acting as their master, leader, a true king. He had gathered a lot of respect over years amongst them, and as such, it was much easier for him to unite all of them together. He led them in a raid against Sorcerer families, and they succeeded.

In one night, Sorcerers all over Japan lost 90% of their forces. All others didn't really matter, as they were too weak to do anything, or they were simply clanless. This shocked all other factions that were currently residing in Japan. Youkai's, Five Principal Clans, and even Shinto gods worked together to get as much information as possible.

They quickly found out who did it, but didn't make any drastic actions. If they could rival with them, it would lead to many losses on their side. They thought if they could proceed with it as peacefully as it was even possible, without any unnecessary bloodshed.

To their surprise, the new-formed faction didn't show any hostility and seemed to mind their own business. They thought if they should hold up a meeting with them, but as they thought about it, a message came to Kyoto. The message said:

"Piss off. Mind your own business, and we won't do anything either.

P.s: I'm not controlling all, so if you find some strays, then they are your problems."

Some gods and old arrogant Youkai's were of course enraged by such disrespectful behavior from another side, but the younger generation somehow calmed them down. They decided to be cool-minded right now, and not make any unnecessary moves. At least the message was clear without any riddles attached to it, so they didn't need to think for long.

It was always possible that it was a trap, and the other side wants to lower their guard, but logically thinking, they shouldn't attack them. Cursed spirits and Sorcerers were constantly in conflict, so it was predictable. Curse Users also didn't seem to be fond of sorcerers a lot, so their actions were understandable.

Actually, Sukuna would like to go for an all-out war against them, but his odds weren't high. Not only that would be three versus one, but also he is not sure if he can defeat the strongest gods that Shinto factions have to offer. Of course, it excites him if he can fight strong enemies, but he still does not rush to die so quickly.

He sent this letter to watch their reaction, he wondered if they would be so pissed off that they would immediately wage a war against him. Apparently, they are not so easy, but it was to be expected. If they would be angered because of such a letter, and throw themselves to the battlefield, then they wouldn't survive till this day.

But even if he would like to fight against those factions, he still had some stuff to do. First of all, he had to gather all Cursed Spirits and Curse Users he could, and then subjugate them. It will be quite easy to do that to Curses, but a bit harder to Curse Users. But in the end, it doesn't really matter. Both of those "races" have some kind of ambitions that he could use against them. He doesn't want some system where few people have the same authority, and they will always struggle to make decisions. He will be the only one to lead them, if they don't listen to him, then they are as good as dead.

Then he has to establish some area for his soon-to-be-formed faction. It would make it much easier to control them if they will be in one place, rather than all over the country. He doesn't really have many choices here. The first, is to make yourself a new realm, that you could modify as you seem fit. It is the most flexible one, as you can make it wherever you want, and people shouldn't know about it. But it comes at a high cost. You need a lot of resources to create it, and then keep it up for a long time. As of right now, he doesn't have such resources, so it goes aside.

The second option is to occupy some already established realm. He knows that all gods have one, but it is too dangerous to go against them, now, especially when the fight will be held at their own domains. Also, most gods are really prideful, and they will protect their home till the last drop of blood. There also should be other realms, but Sukuna doesn't really know about them.

The third and easiest way is to make it somewhere on Earth. They have already a small place like that, but if all will move here, then there won't be a lot of free room. He doesn't really want to create it on the surface, as it will attract a lot of attention. So making it somewhere underground is the best idea. With the help of Tamamo, and other Curses and Curse Users, as well as his and Tamamo's familiars, they could make such base in few days.

After this question was decided as well, he needed to make plans for the future. He had some, but they weren't really plans, just quick ideas. As he wasn't fully pledged Cursed Spirit, nor he was human nor a Curse User either, he had an idea to take over someone's body. After traveling in Japan for few years, and killing weaklings, while raiding some places at the same time, he had found some interesting techniques that he could try to use.

As it was stated earlier, he doesn't really think that going in such a way as earlier is a good idea. He is maybe a hybrid of some kind, but he still has a measly lifespan like humans do, maybe a little bit longer, but 100- 200 years is clearly not enough for him. With few methods he found, he could probably make cursed objects from himself, while keeping a soul in them– thus, memories and part of his strength won't disappear. Also, even if not for much, it could make him a little bit stronger, or at least have greater potential in the future, after possessing someone's body.

He thought about this perspective a long time ago. When he saw Tamamo using Senjutsu and Youjutsu, he thought that it could be really handy if used right. Touki wasn't really useful for him, as he could basically do the same things with Cursed Energy, but it still should give him at least some boost in strength.

It was possible to learn Senjutsu without being a Youkai, but it was so much easier if you were one, as they sensed life-force much better than any other being. Also, if they were using lifeforce as their power source, then they could probably increase their own lifespan. And even if such technique didn't exist, he could try to develop something once he understands the logic behind it.

But Youjutsu was a bit different matter. Tamamo was really proficient in using illusions, as it seems like she had some kind of affinity with illusions. It actually had a lot of uses. Barriers, poisons, elemental control, and most important for him– teleportation. This all would be so much easier if he learned Youjutsu. Sadly, it was all possible to only strong Youkai's, while he clearly wasn't one of them.

All in all, if his death was planned through and through, he could gain a lot from it. For now, he will slowly build his own kingdom. Then, he should somehow promote Tamamo. If he plans to die for some time, to be revived later, he needs someone to leave in control of his "faction". Even if she was annoying, she was reliable, and could possibly lead Curses and Curse Users flawlessly. She just needs their support, and it will do the trick. 'Hahaha, it seems like I will be really busy a few years.' he thought to himself.

(A/N: Huh, as you can see I'm planning on making something similar to what happened in Jujutsu Kaisen. You all can suggest your ideas right now, as this will be kind of crucial part of the story, as it will decide what path of strength he will take in the future. I mean, getting a Youkai body, thus getting his abilities would be really useful for Sukuna. He also could possibly combine Cursed Energy, Youjutsu, and Senjutsu to make something new, but it will be for later. This chapter wasn't really a massacre chapter, as I.. err.. didn't want to make it one. Instead, as you can see, I made it an info dump one. Remind me if I missed something. Cya!~)

Thanks for reading!~
