Sorcerers. What are they? They are not really humans, though they resemble them a lot. The race of humans capable of using jujutsu– that's what they are. Evil jujutsu sorcerers are known as Curse Users and humans who can not use jujutsu are called Non-Sorcerers.
It is the Heian Era at the moment, the so-called golden era of jujutsu. Cursed techniques users are on top of the food chain at the moment, at least in Japan, or it is so? Facts say that it's true. There haven't been a lot of Special-Grade Cursed Spirits around this era, and even if there were, they were quickly exterminated. Sorcerers wondered why the proficiency of Cursed Spirits was so low, but they just shrugged it off as nothing important. Uknown to them, balance is always kept intact, no matter what era it is.
Sorcerers made a lot of clans last centuries, and the clans that were existing before made a huge number in total. Sorcerer families were having a good life, not bothering about the world a lot, till one day. A day when Ryomen Sukuna exterminated his clan.
That day was written in history as a starting point when the golden age of jujutsu started to crumble, bit by bit. Curse Users and other Cursed Spirits were ravished when they heard the news, they thought that it may finally be their chance, their chance to get free from those shackles that were binding them in place for decades.
Sukuna was cold-hearted, and never forgave those, who stand on his path. He killed countless sorcerers, yokai's, human armies and never lost. Slowly but surely, some people started to admire him. After some time, their admiring rose to that of obsession. Like he was some god, who could show them their own path.
After few years of rampaging in Japan, another bunch of news came. He was traveling with someone. It was shocking for them for obvious reasons. After some time passed again, he disappeared. Not even a single trail was left behind.
Some people felt in desperation. They would never think that someone they admired so highly, would be lost one day so easily. People started to speculate if someone killed him, but that idea was ridiculous as well. Over the years that Sukuna was in Japan, no one defeated him, even the strongest of them, and yet someone could kill him without notifying anyone? Ridiculous.
A few months after his disappearance, a rather strange group appeared. They were inviting all promising individuals they could find– be it cursed spirits or curse users. No one really knew what they were offering, but people were willingly accepting their offer. Soon, people started to get interested in them and tried to find any information they could.
They didn't even need to wait for few days for the information to be revealed. Apparently, their master was Sukuna himself. At first, no one believed them. But soon after, people started to confirm this information, saying that this is true. Even more, people were accepting their offer, as they thought that next years would be filled with a lot of entertainment.
A year later, a meeting was held. The same three people that were recruiting curses and curse users were in charge of it. They told about some plans of Sukuna, and what he planned to do with sorcerer clans. Of course, they also explained that Sukuna wasn't in Japan at the moment, and he left them here to proceed with plans.
After their long speech, crowd eyes were filled with excitement. They were willing to fight against sorcerer clans if they had a chance to win, and it seems like it was presented to them. People immediately started to gather even more allies and get all resources they could offer. Of course, most of them were greedy, but they thought that they could gain a lot more from raids on sorcerer families.
Meanwhile, normal sorcerers didn't notice any commotion that was happening between curses and curse users. They were sure that their clans could easily defend them from any threats that could possibly befall them. As time went by, they grew immensely arrogant, as there weren't a lot of cursed spirits to kill, and those that were still walking somewhere were mostly of the lowest class.
They also had heard of a so-called Demon named Sukuna, but they thought that people were simply extravagating rumors. They didn't believe that someone could possibly kill armies of people all alone.
A few years later, joyful news spread in the curses and curse users community. Sukuna was back. They were excited like never before, they finally could deal with sorcerer families. All preparations were done long ago. All they needed was a signal for an attack.
He then gave some of his most loyal subordinates a detailed plan, they then spread it among the others. They will attack all clans at the same time, from different angles. Over years, they got a lot of information about the clan's inner structure, barriers, clan members, most techniques and so much more. Also, young sorcerers grew really arrogant and didn't really train themselves, as they saw no need in it.
It was clear that Sukuna's forces were in huge advantage, not to talk about Sukuna himself. He will take one of the most powerful sorcerer families, Kei. They have been established a few centuries ago, being one of the oldest clans to ever exist right now.
Midnight, somewhere in the clan of Kei
Two men were standing on a guard, seemingly relaxed. They were really happy right now because they finally joined a clan, and not some small clan, but one of the strongest. Kei clan treasured talents and potential. They were also acquiring hardworking people.
These two didn't really have any talent, nor powerful cursed technique, but they were really hardworking and could use their head rationally. There was a huge competition for few spots that were free in the clan, and somehow, they passed.
"Haah.~ Finally we can relax at least a little bit. It was said that Kei clan members live really fine..." One of them said. Those few days were really tense for both of them.
"Yeah, but we still shouldn't neglect our training. You have heard rumors about this Demon right? It was said that he single-handedly massacred armies and groups of powerful sorcerers. I wonder if that is really true. He must be a really strong sorcerer." He thought in astonishment. He could only think to reach such heights if those rumors were at least partly true.
"Heh, they sound absurd though. But there is no smoke without fire, so at least some part of it must be true. I hope we won't meet with him, he was said to be merci–" He was absurdly cut off when he heard screams from the distance.
They narrowed their eyes and what they saw made them freeze. There were only two people coming, but the aura they emitted was nothing but normal. Also, if they looked closer, they could see one of them being a man in his mid-twenties with four hands and slightly spiky pale pink hair. Four dark red eyes were shining in the darkness, filled with joy and excitement. They immediately remembered the description they got on Sukuna.
Next to him stood an outstanding beauty. She had long pink hair and wore a blue kimono. She also had two fluffy fox ears and nine tails behind her. She stood there with a smile on her lips, and golden eyes shining in the darkness of the night. They have never seen such beauty, but they had no time to appreciate her beauty. It was her aura that made them wary of her. While it was nowhere near Sukuna's dominating and overbearing aura, it was still too much for them to handle.
They thought that even the strongest of their clan couldn't comprehend in strength with her, and she is not even the strongest one attacking. They started to grow desperate. Now they know that those rumors were true. If something was wrong, it is that Sukuna is far stronger than he was initially described!
They tried to move and send a signal for an alarm, but it was too late. They didn't even notice when those two moved beside them and cut off their heads. Sukuna's smile grew even wider threatening to split his face in half. He wasn't killing sorcerers for quite some time, and this fresh blood smell is amazing for him.
Tamamo felt the same way, she was searching right now for the blood of sorcerers. While she didn't hate humans and sorcerers to the point where she would go berserk the moment she saw them, she still holds a grudge against them. And as a full-fledged goddess, she will hold this grudge against them for eternity.
When they tried to kill her, she didn't hate them. She was just confused. She had a human body, thus she had their feelings and emotions. When people started to hunt her, she thought that she did something wrong against them. After some time passed, she just wanted to hide somewhere, and forget all that happened to her.
It was then that Sukuna appeared. Not only did he save her life, which she is really grateful for, but also he gave her time and new experience, to sort out her feelings towards humans and sorcerers. He showed what a real-world looks like, and what most people tend to do when given at least some power over someone.
And now here they are, exterminating sorcerer families. While she didn't outright hate killing people, she still didn't kill if this wasn't necessary. It's because she might grow addicted to this feeling, just like Sukuna. That's why she mostly leaves all those massacres to Sukuna, but this time, she decided to participate, as even she couldn't miss this fun.
"Hahaha, finally those annoying ants will perish! Come out! Wherever you are hiding!" Sukuna laughed wholeheartedly, even though he said that he will still let some of them live. Not that he is merciful, but he needs someone to tell the news to others.
Inside the Kei clan palace
"Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck!" A man in his forties cursed endlessly. Even though he is the leader of one of the strongest families, he still can't be cool-minded right now. His clan grounds are getting constantly attacked by Demon nonstop. What irritates him the most, is that it seems like he doesn't even try, he just plays with them.
"Did you got anything?!" He yelled at his subordinate. While the subordinate can understand why the leader is so angry right now, he still couldn't help but gulp. His aura is anything but calm right now.
"W-we ha-haven't! S-s-something is block-k-king our si-signals!" He startled a little bit but still answered. When the leader heard that, he lost almost all his hope. He knows better than anyone here that Sukuna is almost unstoppable at this point. He saw this monster massacring armies upon armies, and now he has to face it himself?! He thought that suiciding is the best way right now, at least you could die painlessly.
*BOOOOOOOM!*
He suddenly heard a huge explosion from below the palace. He moved closer to a window and there he saw that monster's face. His face immediately paled. Meanwhile, clan members were desperately shouting towards Sukuna and rushing like never-ending waves.
"Kill this Demon!"
"For the clan!"
"Don't let him get to the entrance! We must defe–" Last one of them was suddenly cut off.
"Don't yell so much, makes you more annoying to kill. Most of the sorcerers are feeling afraid and pleading desperately for mercy when I show them even a little bit of my strength. But it seems like you still haven't had enough, huh?" His lips turned in a large sadistic grin as he said: "It seems like this night will be fun!"
Uh oh, that's basically it. I should write this night in the next chapter as well, as it should be fun, I guess? (Am I the only sadistic one here?) Anyways, if you have any suggestions, then feel free to write them. As most of you can see, I'm actually answering those suggestions, whether I will use them or not is up to me.
