Cleaning up

After dinner the group returned to the room I had woke up in earlier and began to just talk about their previous escapades, apparently they all attended school together and so had known each other since they were around the ages of fifteen and eighteen. Meaning they were all between the ages of 35 and 38, Lucien was apparently the second oldest at just barely 38, while Ella was the youngest at just barely 35.

They met in a study club meant for well standing and talented students to help lower standing and worse off students in order to increase unity or something, but the higher standing were mostly just slurred at by those at lower standings causing them to team up and beat up the lower standing ones until they listened.

Listening to them talk I couldn't help but laugh and smile as the time passed drowsiness set in and the need to sleep became prevalent, spotting his sleepiness Lucien excused them both to go bathe and sleep. 

Lucien took me to the blue bathroom and showed me how to adjust the water settings, tap red to increase temperature and the white one to decrease temperature, clear one to turn it off. Setting a new button up shirt on the counter and my plant beside the door he heads out to shower himself.

30 minutes and hot shower later I'm laying on my bed with my plant on the shelf slowly beginning to doze off when the door opened.

"I figured you didn't bother drying your hair." A voice says as a towel falls on my head, Lucien begins to dry my hair off for me. Once he was done he ran his hands through my hair and sat beside me till sleep claimed me.

P.O.V. Lucien

Putting the boy to bed I got up and returned down stairs the mood now more somber than when the boy was down here, they had clearly been waiting for me to return if their same positions as earlier is any indications.

Looking at them I decide to tell them all that I knew of the current situation, they had most likely been wanting to know since we picked him up 2 days ago.

"The boy does not originate from this world but another one." Seeing the surprise that lit up their faces I know they understand the magnitude of this as well as I. My family may be a small one but that isn't true for all of them, Gurlet in particular is the second born from a ducal family the second heir.

While Maylen is the child of the current elf emperor she is a bastard half elf who did not inherit the royal family ability and is no doubt her mothers daughter, but elf children half or not are rare if she ever truly needed help her elder half brother would no doubt give it as she is his only sibling estrange as they are. Her being a fertile half blood helps increase her standing.

James is the youngest child of the previous human emperor and the favored brother of the current one. Although Ella is the only one born from a commoner family her elder sister also talented like her married the current head general of the combined armies, all of them had one connection or another. Even he a half blood of the avian beast kin has good standing as his mother ran away from the arranged marriage the emperor her father had planned and struck from inheritance due to impotency common in half blood children could get some backing if truly pushed.

All of them had enough political intel and knowledge to know both the danger from his world if they are powerful or the danger to his world if weak. It would be a who can concur who first bloodbath, full out war.

Continuing on, "his worlds dungeons aren't like ours they suck in anyone and anything in the surrounding area, close when the most powerful monster is cleared and close one hour after successfully completed, anyone still in the dungeon when it closes is stuck there until it reconnects to another place, and that most likely only happens when the Dungeon mob numbers reach max level for whatever area they are in." Silence follows this statement as they understand the unsaid circumstance of how the boy got in that dungeon.

"The boy uses a extremely painful but also powerful cultivation and they most likely use this type of cultivation because unlike here where impurities will disappear on their own with enough time, they probably have little to no way to deal with impurities so this painful but effective method was invented so as to lower the amount of people who need the treatment for impurities." 

Although I don't add details of the cultivation it is understandable how bad the impurity situation must be to do such a thing.

Dismissing the meeting we head to our rooms to sleep, tomorrow I'll take the boy to get clothes and a hair cut while getting all the books and supplies he'll need to get as much knowledge of our world as quickly as possible and to begin studying proper energy manipulation and fighting style that matches him.

Smiling as I think of how quickly the boy will get frustrated at the different clothes he will be forced to wear I fall asleep.

Waking to once more being shaken I glare at Lucien, hearing him chuckle as he hefts me over his shoulder I knew it had no effect but to amuse him. Lucien put him on the ground again and handed him a bundle of folded clothes that were to large still, I put them on wash my face brush my teeth and hair before applying hygiene product.

After getting ready Lucien once more chucks me on his shoulder and carries me down, putting up with it enough I complain, "I, able, to, walk."  He chuckles and comments, "when you can say that sentence properly and with no problem then I'll think of stopping."

He put me down in the kitchen and made a bowl of cereal with milk for me, after eating he grabbed my hand and led me out front were the carriage now stood. "We will be getting you some proper clothes that fit, a haircut and a few books and practice weapons, resistance is futile you understand little one." Pouting slightly I nod in understanding not agreement but Lucien took it that way anyway.

The next four hours were the most traumatizing of my life, pulled one side to the other, trying on every piece of clothes that could fit me in the store. I am now thankful for the government given clothes as he didn't need to go through this to get them. The haircut was a quick simple one getting the hair from my shoulders to 3 inches thick at top and one inches on the sides keeping the hair out of my eyes once more.

The book store was interesting as there were many different subjects and tools I had never seen before, while the weapon shop we bought one of each training basic weapon.

Returning home I was told some exciting news, "As of tomorrow you will join us with morning practice, can't keep sleeping the whole day away anymore." With a grin Lucien informed that I would begin physical training with them.
