Chapter 1 Prologue

I was running through the busy road, running away from my captors with my becoming heavier and my heart beating fast like a bass drum. I ran beside the rows of houses ignoring all the pain that was coursing through my legs from the continuous running I had done by running away from them.

I ran up the stairways that led to a park that was quite far from the city and was covered with lushfuland vibrant trees and vibrant flowers full of colour. The weather did not compliment the situation that was taking place inside the park as it was sunny and the sky was blue without a single trace of cloud in it.

I ran through the large horde of trees that was resting in the park in different directions so that the people who are chasing me don't manage to get a clear shot with their guns that the were carrying. Thankfully due to the large cluster of trees that were all close to each other, the men chasing didn't shoot as they probably thought it would be a waste of bullets so they continued to chase me with their breath clearly indicated that they were just as tired as me.

I ran through the trees clearly knowing where I am going as I used to play in this park when my parents used to take me here. Thinking of my parents, I let out a sad smile as I was reminiscing the old days when I used to be a happy and joyful boy without a single worry, living in that small world of mine. The joy and happiness that I had as a child all disappeared into thin air, all just in one night because of that company. Thinking of that night just brought a foul taste on my mouth while my anger clearly rising which was clearly showed by the look of my eyes.

However thinking of that night just made my determination to carry this out much higher so I increased my pace to reach the end goal of my journey that is full of revenge. Before I reached the end of the horde of trees I could see the light from the sun's rays as if it were seeking me to come towards it which I soon did as I ran towards the fence that was guarding the park and stopping people from jumping off the hill that the park was in.

I faced the group with my back facing the fence and waited for a few seconds for the guys to reach me and in a few seconds that seemed to be years for me as my anticipation was reaching its climax as I was finally about to have my revenge.

"You should give it up Jason as now you have no where to run expect to your death behind you and are all surrounded so give us the USB and I could consider giving you a painless death." A unknown man spoke with a smirk on his face and is the same man that I hate the most after the CEO of the company that I loathe and the same company that they work for.

"Aiden, you really think that I'm going to quit right now after all the time I had to plan for this." Jason spoke out clearly amused by the fool as he was expecting me to actually quit. If he actually thinks that then he is clearly a fool as I'm never going to quit until I destroy their company and future until there is nothing left.

"I guess you decided to suffer just like your parents did, hahahaha" He said to me with a laugh which definitely made me much more angrier but I decided to not let it interfere with my actions so I suppressed it much as possible.

"Hahahaha, you really are a fool Aiden. Don't worry you and your boss will be dying alongside me as I have planted a explosive in his house and your boss's company will fall after the data is sent to everywhere in the internet." I said in a with a crazed grin that clearly showed my teeth and soon after I spoke those words a beeping sound was heard behind Aiden and his crew.

Aiden turned around and saw a explosive attached to a tree while the nervousness clearly shown on his face along with the rest of the morons as there was only three seconds to go before it explodes. Words was stuck in his mouth as he was unable to form a single word and sweat was dripping down his face while his face was pale as he seemed to accept his fate. He couldn't run as he was quite far and wouldn't be able to run through the trees to protect himself from the explosion.

He turned around and face towards me with a glare that was too weak due to the nervousness. The look on his face gave me so much pleasure as it was something that I desired for so long.

All I gave in return was the same crazed smile that I wore before which definitely pissed him off but before he could respond.

'I finally got revenge Mom, Dad.' I thought before I was about to die. I was ready to die and accepted my fate so I closed my eyes and waited for the EXPLOSION!!!

As soon as I finished my last thoughts a loud explosion was heard with its sound carrying itself across the area.

{Third Person POV }

*BOOM*

The explosion was heard throughout the area and fortunately for the citizens of the area, the explosion did not harm them as they were not anywhere near it.

The explosion was loud and could pierce the ear of those that were quite near the explosion. The result of the explosion was a lot of quite mutilated bodies of Aiden and his subordinates. The scene was disgusting to look at and would sure be a nightmare for the police officers that will come to investigate this.

_Elsewhere_

In a bright and white void, the soul of a young person was floating around aimlessly in the endless

white void. It had been at least a few hundred years since he had reached the void but for the soul he had only perceived it as a few moments. That is soul is our dear protagonist called Jason Grace and also one of the luckiest man alive.

The past of Jason is a bit complicated but may even be a little cliche but it was definitely not something good. Well Jason was born from a couple called Martha and Jonathan Grace who were a ordinary couple but what was not ordinary was where they worked.

Jason's parents worked for a company called Dawn Enterprise which they worked as Scientists but little did they know about the dark side of the company that they worked for. They worked on creating drugs for curing different diseases and researching different ways to increase the effectiveness of different current existing drugs.

Well on the outside, the company may seem like a good company that are trying to help the world by finding cures for different diseases but that was just the flower that was hiding the serpent under it. The true side was not so good as it seemed as the true motive of the company was to create a serum to reach something alike of immortality which may seem quite typical of a evil organisation. The creator of the company wanted to reach immortality without harming his body such as losing his nose.

The CEO did many horrid things such as experimenting on people which did not give such a pleasant result as it left them deformed with many high risk health condition and the company gave them no relief as once they were experimented on, they were killed when they showed bad result.

This is where Jason comes in as his parents found out this once and stole the information as they wanted to reveal it to the government and the public so that they could be arrested and so that the company shuts down for ever. Jason's also found out that Jason along with a lot of their co-workers children would also be experimented on so they did everything they could to protect him.

They did everything they could so that Jason escape which their hard work paid off as Jason managed to escape while the company thought that he also died along with his parents by the explosion that occurred in their house.

Once his parents had died, Jason had been adopted by his grandparents who lived in the United Kingdom which he was grateful as they showed him affection in place of his parents

However as they were quite old, their time had to come so by the time Jason was 18, they had already died which made him grieve a lot as he had lost all the family he had left.

After his grandparents death, Jason decided to go back to the country which his parents were from which was America and visited the same neighbourhood in which he grew up in.

He visited the same house which his parents lived in and it triggered a lot of memories of that night as he remembered all that happened that night more clearly which made him search for the object that he saw his dad hide.

After that point, it decided his fate as he planned his revenge for the Dawn Enterprise and that ked up to his chase and also his death.

-Present-

"Where am I and why is everything around me just white" Jason was confused as he did not know where he was or what was going to happen to him.

"Hope this is not the afterlife as much as it is peaceful here, it will soon get boring with nothing to do here" Jason pleaded to no one but himself as he could not tolerate being here forever or the rest of his life as it basically the same as staring at paint drying in a wall.

After few moments he decided against panicking as it will only make the situation worse than it already is for Jason so he decided to calm himself.

Since he thought that there was nothing to do, he decided to calm his mind and also train his mind to remember all the things that he experienced in his previous life.

(AN: This is where I am making a my own memory palace that is not even closely similar to the one in real life and I will also make photographic memory more powerful than it already is)

Thanks to his photographic memory he began to recall all the memories that he has of his life up to now and began to create links to connect each other so that he could remember instantaneously without putting effort.

All that took some time but he did not even realise the amount of time that he has been in the void as he was too busy with viewing his memories as some was quite pleasurable such as his time with his family, friends and also his time watching anime and different shows.

At first he wanted to create a mind palace similar to a huge library or a computer such as those he read in fanfictions of Harry Potter but he realised that it was not possible without the aid of magic so he decided against wasting his energy trying the impossible.

Just as he had finished creating the links in his mind palace. A thousand years had already past but he did not even realise it as his perception of time was different to a normal person at earth in this void.

"Finally, I'm finished creating my own mind palace and linked everything important together so that I can recall it really quickly if I ever needed to. I'll be able to remember it like counting 1 2 3" James said to himself in the seemingly endless void.

Jason had already speculated the he was a soul or something akin to that as once he realised that he did not need any sleep or any food, he hypothesised that he did not have a body therefore he must be something similar to a soul or spirit as he is dead.

He was meditating in the soul as he had nothing better to do and meditating also relieves his boredom which he is in desire to do.

{Jason POV}

I should meditate for a few while since I have nothing to do and since mediating clears my mind, it also relieves any boredom that I may have.

While I was mediating, I suddenly came across something like a holographic letter.

"What the fuck" I swore as I was suddenly surprised to see a letter that seemed holographic and I tried to touch it and as expected, my hand went right through.

I decided to read it as it may be important and also I really wanted to know what the letter had featured.

< Hello there Jason, I am giving this letter as an apology for letting you stay in the void for a millennium but for you it may have been a few months. I formally apologise for this mistake as you were meant to go to heaven and be reunited with your parents but due to my mistake it was not possible.

To rectify my mistake, I am going to reward you with the once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to any fictional universe that you choose as it was your childhood dream and even in your later years and now it's going to be possible.

I'll also give you one wish to compensate for the mishap that took place so hope you enjoy the experience of a lifetime that you are going to experience. Have a great time and enjoy your life that you did not fully get to do in your life and take all the opportunity that you got and do not worry as you will reunite with your parents at some point so no need to rush.

Here is some words from both your parents.

Mom and Dad- Well done son and we are very proud of you for bringing down that corrupt organisation and in result saving those innocent people. We are very proud to be your parents and please enjoy your new life that you have been given. We will see you some point later but for now enjoy your new life.

Good bye Jason and enjoy your new life. Here's all your favourite fictional universe that you may want to visit and also decide on your wish that you want>

After I had fully read the letter I was presented with 5 of my favourite fictional universes that I wanted to visit as a child and also I want to visit now. The five fictional universes that are my favourite are:

<Naruto Universe- This is the universe that revolves around Naruto Uzumaki who is the protagonist of the show. This universe is filled with ninjas and also samurais who have the power of chakra which could do incredible things. If you choose this you can be reborn as a already existing character or even create your own character with any of the clans or none of the clans. The choice is up to you. However you may want to decide carefully as this is also a universe with a lot of bloodshed and you may even die early on if you are not careful with what you choose.

Dragonball Multiverse- This is the multiverse that features Son Goku as the main character that the story revolves around. This universe is filled with aliens and humans that have the power of Ki which allows them to fight and destroy even planets or galaxies. If you choose this you could be reborn as a human or even any of the alien race such as Saiyans or Frost Demons. However just as the last one you may want to think before you decide as you could die before you even know it as many beings could destroy you with a flick of their fingers.

Avatar The Last Airbender Universe- This is the universe that revolves around Aang who is the last known airbender. This universe is filled with people that have the ability to bend their respective element which is Fire, Air, Water and Earth however the Avatar can bend all four elements which you already know. This is a better option to choose than the previous one as here you have a really good chance of surviving if you choose correctly but you could die from the fire nation if you are born in a less protected environment.

MCU- The Marvel Cinematic universe which is based on the marvel comics and created by Marvel Studios. This universe is filled with gods and super powered beings and you may have the chance to also become a hero. This is a dangerous world but can be safe if you are in the right situation and also if you are lucky. If you choose this world then good luck with the snap.

Highschool DxD- The DxD universe which revolves around a lucky pervert who gets a harem. This universe is filled with supernatural themes and different mythologies from around the world which is interesting. This is also quite a dangerous world just like the previous world as there are lot of powerful supernatural beings that could easily kill you if you are not strong enough. If you choose this world then decide on the background of your character carefully.

After some thinking, I decided to choose the world of the Avatar as it is quite a interesting world and also it is quite easy to gain strength and survive if you are clever about it. It also is the best cartoon I ave ever watched as a kid and also in my later years as it was that good and I always wanted to be a bender when I was a kid.

< Congratulations on choosing the world that you want to reincarnate in and now it's time to decide on what element you want to be able to bend so hopefully you make a good choice on what element you are going to choose.>

After I read that, I thought for some time on which element I would choose to be able to bend and came to a conclusion.

Jason: 'I could choose air which would be useful as air is everywhere except underwater and underground but even in underwater and underground, there could be pockets of air contained in something. The biggest issue of choosing air bending is the airbender genocide which if I'm born in the same time then I would fucked but if I do choose it then I could be the avatar which would be a huge plus as I would be able to bend all four elements.'

After comparing each one and it's advantage and disadvantage, I came to the conclusion that I would want to choose either fire bending or water bending.

Jason: ' I guess I should choose water bending as the element I want to bend as there is water present everywhere even in the ground and the air which would make me able to bend almost anywhere unlike other elements such as earth. One of the many reasons I should choose water bending is because of the overpowered ability called blood bending which if used correctly, then you could kill even the avatar quickly.'

As soon as I chose which element I want to be able to bend, I was given a screen similar to a computer screen which responds to my thoughts. On the screen it had said:

< You have chosen your element so congratulations. Anyways decided on the wish that you want me to grant to you but if you want advice then don't choose something too overpowered like that bold guy you saw in that anime. He asked me for his limits to be removed and now look at him.>

I thought for some while and finally decided on what the wish I wanted it and thought it to appear in the screen.

< So you have choose to wish for dual bending which I find overpowered but at least it's not too overpowered like choosing to be Saiyan which a lot of people asked me to grant them. Let me tell you a story which you would find amusing. This guy died and when I gave him his wish, he asked to be Uchiha who is a Saiyan in the Narutoverse so as a result for making that wish, I decided to make him reincarnate just a 2 weeks before the Uchiha Clan massacre with the battle power of 2. Can you imagine the look on his face.>

After I read that I could stop myself from laughing at the fate of that poor bastard and also the facial expression that he must have wore as a baby.

Thankfully the being showed me a picture of the baby who suddenly realised that he was reincarnated just before the Uchiha Clan massacre and it was hilarious.

I chose to choose fire as my second and final element that I would be able to bend which made me almost giddy at the possibility of being able to bend lightning and also blood.

Before the screen disappeared, I quickly gave a thank you which was filled with gratification for this opportunity that I have received.

I also said a good bye in return and without seconds notice I was greeted with my vision fading and losing conscious.
