CHAPTER 1: Groom's family visiting Bride 's home
Everybody were running here and there in the big mansion, ladies were in kitchen preparing delicious meals and men's were checking the arrangement

POOJA SHARMA is a female lead of this story, she completed her graduation in BA and she wanted to do MA but she got a marriage proposal from her father 's best friend "Vijay kashap" for their son, her father " Ashok Sharma" immediately agreed because they were family friends , pooja also agreed to get marry after her dad convinced her that he would be happy if she gets married to someone their know closely
They were coming to see her with her groom to be
Pooja pov :
I was scared and nervous, everything happened in such a short span of time, I agreed to get married to Aditya Kashap because of my father, my father wanted me to be with them always but this can't happen after all " ladkiyo ko ek din apne mom dad se alag hona hi hota hai " I was only daughter to my parents, I was pampered and loved, my dad always wished me to be in safer hands and when Vijay uncle brought his son's rishta for me, dad couldn't refuse to it, we were family friends, and we used to visit their home on every weekends, still me and Aditya never came across each other because he did his education in London law university and stayed in abroad
"Pooja stop thinking too much ", radhika said
Radhika vidya and amrita were my best friends cum sisters, we are childhood friends
"mujhe darr lag raha", I said looking at them through the mirror
They were making me get ready
" darr kyu lag raha hai ?" , vidya asked
"i think sab jaldi jaldi ho raha hai I mean I think I am not ready for this", I said nervously
" oh common, you know Vijay uncle and vimla aunty they treat you like their daughter,in laws aise mile tho aage ki zindagi aasaan hogi husband kaisa bhi ho kya farak padhta hai , radhika said and winked at me
"you are making me more nervous" I said to her and tried to hide my blush
"you look so gorgeous", amrita said
" pooja Pooja are you ready" , mumma came from behind and looked at me through the mirror
I got up and turned to look at her, she was in tears
"Meri bacchi kitni khubsurat lag rahi hai", she said coming close to me and applied kaala teeka behind my ear
"kisi ki nazar na lage", she said
I hugged her tightly trying to control my tears
we broke from hug, mom kissed me on my forehead and said "tu chali jaayegi tho hum akele ho jaayenge khaaskar ki teri papa "
I couldn't control my tears anymore, I hugged her again , she broke the hug and wiped my tears away
"pooja rona nahi warna make up kharaab ho jaayega" , radhika commented from behind making me and mom smile inbetween our tears
Radhika was a fashion designer, and my other two friends completed their graduation along with me
We heard some voices from downstairs and papa came to my room
He saw me with teary eyes , I immediately ran towards him and hugged him, he kept his hand on my head, he didn't say anything like always,he just showed his emotions by patting my head lovingly
"mamta,ladke waale aa rahe hai they have reached already they will be here in few minutes,aap niche chaliye ladke ki aarti bhi tho karni aur maa wait kar rahi hai aapka "
We stayed in a joint family me, dad, mom ,my grandma (my father's mother ) chachi and chacha
Chachi (SUNITA SHARMA) And chacha (Arpit Sharma) had no children so I was the only one daughter in my house
"mai Tumahari chachi ko bhejti hoon we will call you down jab ladkewaale aajaayenge", mom said and went outside
ADITYA KASHAP'S Character sketch
Aditya Kashap an young lawyer , he started the practice recently,his father was also in the same field,he was working under his father's guidance, his father was the head of Well known law firm " THE LAW FIRM "
When his father asked him to get married he denied it strictly by saying that he is not settled yet but when his dad showed him the photograph of Pooja he couldn't deny anymore and he agreed
Aditya 's pov
I got ready wearing the suit which my mom kept it for me on my bed
I was nervous and excited to meet the gorgeous girl I saw in the photograph
when my dad showed me her photograph I was spell bound by her beauty and simplicity, I was lost looking at her photograph, there was something so pure about her, her eyes caught my attention, they were so different, her eyes were deep, I was immediately got attracted towards her, her photo was enough to make me weak on my knee
I was going to see her for the first time, though she was the daughter of my father's friend, we didn't know each other, I did my graduation in London university and came back to India recently
"ADI taiyyaar hogaya? ", mom came to check me
vinay and manoj too followed her
vinay and manoj were my friends
vinay whistles looking at me
"waah bhai dashing lag raha hai tu ", manoj complicated
Mom came towards me cupped my face and kissed on my forehead
"Wow bhai you look hot " , my sister vinati said
I can't wait to meet Pooja di, vinati said
"di nahi bhabhi vinati kitni baar bolna padega beta", mom said to her which made me blush
" vimla everyone got ready so come down we should leave", dad shouted from down stairs
I applied some perfume before leaving
we got into our cars
Dad(Vijay kashap), mom ( vimla kashap) ,bade papa(surya kashap) ,badi mumma(supriya kashap) manoj 's wife malini bhabhi went in one car
me,my three friends and my choti sis went in separate car
"Adi tu itna nervous kyu lag raha hai relax", vinay said
"banda pehli baar itni khubsurat ladki se mil raha hai tho nervous hona jaayaz hai", manoj teased
" shut up I am not nervous" ,I said
"wo tho dikh hi raha hai bhai aapke face pe", vinati teased
"whatever", I said
I remained quiet because they were right I was nervous and excited to meet her , as we were reaching to her house my heart beat was increasing
After 20 minutes we reached at the gate of the mansion, the watchmen opened the gate for us , after going inside the gate and parking the cars in parking slot we got out of the car
There were few people standing at the door for welcoming, I saw an old aged women who was standing with aarti thaal
We went towards them, she did my aarti and I bowed down to touch her feet and she kissed my forehead in return
"Welcome home daamaad ji", my mother in law said ,I bowed down to her and touched feet too and she kissed my forehead , I touched pooja 's dad feet , he blessed me by placing his hand on my head and hugged me
my mom introduced them to me, the women who did aarti was Pooja 's grandma, so I bowed down again , I knew other family members because dad used to talk about them a lot
My dad and Pooja 's dad hugged each other, my mom and pooja mom hugged each other
We went inside the house , they made us sit on big sofa, my eyes started searching for someone which didn't go unnoticed by my friends and my sister
" bhabhi aati hi hogi sabar rakh", vinay said
"i was just seeing the decor of the house", I said in order to hide my embarrassment
" oh we didn't know bhai ismai bhi itne interested hai", choti teased
"shut up choti ",I said
They started serving some snacks and juice for us
I was restless, my patience was running out my hands, they were teasing me Or what , I couldn't control anymore
I got up from the sofa and started travelling my eyes upstairs where I could hear some giggling
" adi kya huwa beta?", dad asked
vinay, choti and manoj started giggling making me feel more embarrassed
"wo kisi ko dhoond raha hai", vinay said loudly
"mai kisi nhi dhoond raha dad ye jhoot bol raha" I said loudly and sat down immediately
Everyone started laughing at me
"control yourself Adi",dad said making me feel more embarrassed
"Mai abhi pooja ko leke aati hoon", pooja 's mom said looking at me with a smile
After few minutes I heard some noises from upstairs, I looked up, there was she coming with a chai tray, she was wearing saree, looking absolutely breathtaking, her friends and mom were holding her protectively, she slowly walked down and came towards, I didn't know when I got up from sofa, and I involuntarily opened my mouth
" adi mu bandh kar", manoj said
I immediately did and sat down on the sofa
malini bhabhi went to pooja and help her with the tray
Pooja placed the tea tray on the table , she bowed down to my mom, mom kissed her on her forehead ,my dad stopped her from touching his feet and hugged her lovingly
"beti ho meri aur betiya paau nahi chuti " dad said
my mom introduced her to my family, pooja took their blessings too , choti ran towards her
"pooja di you look gorgeous", she said and hugged her
They were hugging each other like long lost sisters
I kept looking at her , and I am sure it didn't get unnoticed by her
Aree yaar koi hum dono ko bhi tho milaao, I thought to myself
finally mom brought her towards me and made her sit next to me
My heart beat started increasing, I looked at her intensely
