EPISODE 305; THE RUPTURING; THE HOUSE OF SOARING LION TURTLES PART IX; THE ESSENCE OF BLAZE; THE BLESSING THAT ANNIHILATES CURSES; TO RESTORE THE DEAD ZONES OF SHEOL

Ariel(Marina) was very busy with a Project. Saito(Jeannette) was helping out. 

"What are you up to Ariel?" Saito asked.

"For now, we have two major goals. To purify the Ocean's Dead Zones and to reinforce the Islands Forcefields. Fortunately, my Blaze Barrier is constantly neutralizing the Cursed Energy in the Oceans surrounding the Islands but the Salt could degrade the Metallic Structures the Islands are composed of. We need to deal with that as well" Ariel explained.

"How do we deal with the Dead Zones?" Saito asked.

"With a little Chemistry. Ocean Salt is formed from reactions between Acids and Bases. The Chemical Compound Salt (Common Salt) is also referred to as Sodium Chloride. Acids are formed usually when Hydrogen fuses with other elements. When Hydroxides which are a combination of Hydrogen and Oxygen fuse with other elements on the other hand, Bases or Alkali are born. Deep beneath the Oceans lie Geysers which are basically Lava Vents through which the Lava beneath the Earth escapes into the Ocean. Lava or Magma contains high concentrations of Sulphur. When this Sulphur fuses with the Hydrogen in the Oceans, Sulphuric Acid is born. The Ocean also has high concentrations of Chlorine thus Hydrochloric Acid can be born out of these reactions as well. Hydroxides may also be born through parallel processes when the Hydrogen and Oxygen within the Ocean forms Hydroxides. When these fuse with the Sulphuric and Hydrochloric Acids generated by the fusion of Magma with Ocean Water, Brine or Salt Water is produced basically Salt and Water may be the products of this reaction thus the Salt and Water in the Oceans are sustained by the continuous reactions of Magmatic Sulphuric and Hydrochloric Acids with Hydrogen and Oxygen or Hydroxides" Ariel explained.

"You've explained how Ocean Water is formed however you haven't explained how you are going to neutralize the Dead Zones" Saito noted.

"We'll do that by reversing the Neutralization Process and splitting the Sodium in the Salt from the Chlorine. I am currently testing how some extremophile microorganisms, basically microorganisms that can survive in extreme conditions react to my Blaze while placed within a Brine(Salt Water) Solution. My goal is to get them to metabolize the Salt, Acids and Hydroxides and then produce Water as a result of their Metabolic Processes. Basically, we should be able to engineer microorganisms that consume Salt and produce Water. If we introduce them into the Dead Zones Of The Proverbial Sheol (The Proverbial Underworld Associated with the Sea), their activities may dilute the Salt Concentration in the Dead Zones gradually purifying the Dead Zones and look…" Ariel pointed to the Brine Solution.

Jeannette looked into it with her microscope. She noticed that the Salt Crystals were rapidly being devoured and the Freshness of the Water was gradually rising.

"I see!" Saito realized what Ariel was getting at.

"I intend to coat the Shell and Hull Of The Islands with these Microorganisms. They should protect the Islands' Shell and Hulls from Corrosion" Ariel explained.

"So how exactly does 'Blaze' work? I've been wondering about that for a while now" Saito asked.

"It's basically a kind of Blessing that manifests in the Nature Of Flame. Blaze is a fusion of Material and Immaterial Light with Pyro or Heat Energy. The 'Light' aspect of Blaze autonomously seeks out the 'Triggers Of The Curse', both the 'Activating Trigger' and the 'Terminating Trigger'. The 'Heat' aspect of the Blaze then 'burns' the 'Activating Trigger Of The Curse to nothingness' causing the 'Terminating Trigger' which is now a 'remnant' to 'autonomously activate' since the 'Trigger that sustains the Curse' has been 'neutralized'" Ariel explained.

"I see" Saito realized what Ariel was getting at.

"But that's fundamentally a Technical Explanation of how Blaze works. Both the Light and Warmth Of The Blaze simultaneously provide a 'Spirit Boost' or 'Morale Boost' to the one who has been cursed since most curses are designed to eat away at the Spirit of the one who has been cursed. That is what Demons mean when they threaten to 'devour one's soul'. It's basically to consume or diminish one's spirit till one's spirit is extinguished" Ariel explained.

"And every Curse has its own Modus Operandi huh?" Saito asked.

"Curses are like Serpents. There isn't just one Species with a Universal Toxin but rather each Species comes with its own unique toxin. They are also like Pathogens except they are Spiritual in nature and typically manifest within one's spirit. Each Curse is typically designed to smite in a specific way thus to nullify the curse, one needs to understand how it smites just as one could parry a sword with either a Sword or Shield but it would be folly to attempt parrying an Gunshot or Arrow Shot with a Sword. The inappropriate application of a Nullifier when it comes to curses only makes them worse just like the wrong healing method may cause a mild disease to become chronic" Ariel explained.

"I see where you are coming from" Saito realized.

"Blaze isn't a Generic Healing Method when it comes to breaking Curses but rather seeks out the Unique Activating Trigger' for every curse and then nullifies it" Ariel explained.
