Student Prodigy

"So you must be Zukai," Ruga said while putting a hand on the Zukai's shoulder.

"Yes sir, I am." Being faced with the man, Zukai wanted to sound formal as he never met his father before.

Back in his previous life, Zukai never grew up with a father, it was always him and his mother. Having an older sister in this world was a new feeling to him, the only person that came close to a sister to Zukai was Mia.

'I mean she had the attitude to be one, them being annoying and energetic, but at certain times they can be caring,' Zukai thought as he compared Mia with Zucchi.

Thinking back to his mom from his previous life, Zukai appreciated all the years she spent working her butt off to make sure there was food on the table and a roof above his head.

Thinking deeply about this, sorrow and regret began to fill his mind as he left his mother all alone and without him knowing those emotions showed on his face.

Seeing his son's expression Ruga pulled Zukai into a quick hug, it caught Zukai a little off guard. Ruga then stood up and ruffled his son's hair a bit before saying, "We got a lot of catching up to do son."

The king seeing enough interrupted their family reunion as there were important matters that needed to be addressed.

"Ruga, you probably know this, your son's power level right now is 510, which makes him an Elite. Starting today he and Zucchi will be training here at the palace alongside my son." King Vegeta said.

The king was not happy at first that his son had a lower power level then Ruga's son. But all that quickly changed when he measured Vegeta's power level just a few days ago. The prince's power level rose by 90 making his power 590.

He also wasn't planning on allowing Zucchi to join but that changed because, over the past year, he has seen the burning fire in her eyes that long wished to train and get stronger.

"What?! 510!" It was surprising for Ruga to hear that his son has such a high power level at his age.

"WHAT?! I'll be training here with Zukai and the Prince!" Zucchi said, with more surprise than her father.

(A/N: Zucchi is 5 years old at the moment.)

"I didn't plan on it at first but yes Zucchi will be joining. In just one year, you have grown considerably and you still have the same spark in your eyes just like your father when he was your age. With this said, if you begin to lack the motivation to get stronger, I will personally see to it that you will not be training here at the palace anymore." The King said and continued the conversation with Ruga.

"Your wife already agreed to let Zukai train here. I'm sure adding Zucchi wouldn't be a problem as she shows lots of potential." King Vegeta said.

"Understood your Majesty. I'm sure Zukai and Zucchi will live up to your expectations," Ruga kneeled down and thanked his friend the king. He then asked, "By the way your Majesty where is the prince?"

Just then a small figure wearing a similar outfit to the King's walked out through one of the side hallways. The now seen child had similar hair to the King and on his face showed a very smug appearance. The child was none other than Prince Vegeta.

The prince walked past his father to go straight towards Zukai's family. Without paying any attention to anyone else, Vegeta stopped right in front of Zukai. He examined him from top to bottom, trying to size him up.

Just then the Prince threw a fist towards Zukai's face which left everyone except the King with their mouths wide open.

Zukai with his superior senses and power level saw the attack coming and easily dodged it all the while keeping the same empty expression on his face.

This action not only caught the prince by surprise but everyone else including the King, he withdrew his fist and walked back a few steps.

The prince stood there processing the events that transpired, finally the prince spoke. "You, what was your name again?" The prince demanded.

"My name is Zukai, Prince Vegeta." While still carrying his still carefree attitude he gave a slight bow.

"Hmph, Father said that you were as powerful as I am. I just wanted to test you out to see if it was true." The prince said while still carrying his prideful attitude.

"I look forward to sparring with you on the training grounds." As fast as the prince got here, he left without greeting the guests.

"Ruga you must be tired from your journey, go home and rest. Leave the two children here with me so that they may start their training. Don't worry about picking them up, they will both be returned to your manor at the end of the day." King Vegeta asked his friend to rest and assured them that they would get their precious children back.

"As you wish we will be taking out leave." Ruga and Celan were leaving but right when they were about to exit they looked back to wave them good luck. Ruga, seeing his son with his mellow tone attitude, felt a little worried about what his son might do. As they went out the door the couple could be heard having a casual conversation.

"Alright you two, follow this servant and he will lead you to the training grounds as well as show you around the castle." The King wanted to keep a close eye on Zukai as he felt that something was off about his attitude and the earlier act of combat with the prince.

Zukai bowed and then followed the servant along with Zucchi out of the throne room.

"Could he really be the Legendary Super Saiyan?" The King said under his breath. The punch that Vegeta threw was fast and unexpected, someone with a lower power shouldn't have been able to dodge that. "If he really is, he will have to be banished from this planet as he will go insane with all that power," he remarked as he sat back down, his thoughts seemingly in the clouds.

"Wow Zukai, I can't believe the King allowed me to train with you guys. But at the same time, it was bound to happen." Zucchi whispered to Zukai with a proud face as they listened to their guide and walked around the castle to reach their destination.

"And here is the main training ground." The servant pointed towards a huge room from which you can see people fighting. The servant then bowed to Zukai and Zucchi and walked away.

'Hmm, this is a pretty decent sized place to train,' Zukai thought as he looked around the whole arena, among other things there were weights, dummies, and other training equipment.

"Well well, look who decided to show up. Oh, and it looks like another one has joined us" An unfamiliar voice said as they walked in.

Zukai looked around the room to see that there were 6 other Saiyans who all stopped what they were doing to see who the new visitors were.

Three of which he recognized while the other three, two girls and one boy, he had no recollection of who they were. The first three were Nappa who by the way looked way younger and had hair instead of being bald like he was in the DBZ show. Then there was Raditz who still had his long SS3 style hair and a smug look on his face as if he was looking at new prey. Lastly, the prince was there and he seemed not to care as much as he simply glanced at the new arrivals way and continued exercising his body.

"So this is the so-called prodigy that stands on the same grounds as Prince Vegeta," Nappa, as always, had to make every sentence he said about Vegeta.

"Ha standing on equal ground with Prince Vegeta, who the hell makes this stuff up!" This time a female was the one to speak up in a sarcastic way. She was about Zukai's age if not a year older as she had medium-length hair along with her fair white skin.

"Aye Vegeta, let me and my sister Corta, personally handle this chump and show him his place." These other words this time came from the unknown boy who happens to look like the girl's brother. He didn't care to address Vegeta formally as he called out to Zukai challenging him to a fight.

"Yea Prince Vegeta, Darto, and I are more than enough to crush this guy." The twin sister now known as Corta replied to her brother's remark.

"Hey don't look down on my brother, you guys are going to have to get past me if you want a chance at defeating my brother," Zucchi shouted out hating the way these Saiyans were talking about her brother.

"Haha, and who exactly do you think you are? Talking like that to your superiors, you better have the strength to back that mouth of yours," Raditz, of course, being the first to take action, launched himself towards Zucchi with ferocious speed.

Zucchi did not expect the boy to possess such sheer power and speed. Zucchi was unable to do anything but brace herself as the attack followed through and landed right on Zucchi's stomach.

"AHHHHH" Zucchi spat as she fell to the ground gripping her stomach.

"Heh, that will show you to watch your mouth," Raditz squatted down next to Zucchi with a smile on his face, the other Saiyans didn't pay any attention to Raditz's actions.

Zucchi looked up at Raditz and spat on his face while also letting off a big smile of her own.

"WHY YOU LITTLE SH*T!! HOW DARE YOU!"

Raditz now, even more enraged, went on to go give her a kick to the face.

BAMMMMMM!!!!

"ENOU...." Vegeta when seeing what was about to happen tried to order Raditz to stop but that was unnecessary he saw an unconscious Raditz hit the floor a moment later.

Everyone there had looks of awe on their faces as they all saw Raditz's body on the ground and a figure standing over him.

Standing above him was Zukai, before Raditz had a chance to kick Zucchi, Zukai chopped Raditz on the neck which instantly knocked him out. No one saw the actual chop as the attack was so fast it just looked like Raditz fell down.

Zukai looked at Raditz's body and slowly turned around to see everyone else.

"Anyone else?"
