Chapter 106: Healer

Don came off after taking a long bath. He scanned the room but there was no sign of Tyson, he only could see Ray who was reading something in the book.

" Where is Tyson?" Asked Don

" I don't know and neither I Care" Ray added without bothering to look at Don.

Don sign and put on some comfortable clothes so his wound would not offer pain. " Which book are you reading?"

" Nightmare of the dragon" Ray countered with a smirk. Don Gave him confusion expression and earned a Sign from Ray

"It's about so-called Dragons... You can say About Tyson. Its story of the Ancient War written by... Kalzekosa..." Ray stopped While reading a strange name, a frustrating look could be seen on his face.

" Go on... I want to hear his name and everything written in it" Don smiled. Ray rolled his eyes and began telling him everything that was written in the book.

' The writer Described the War between Dragons And Demons who had lived a few hundred years ago. The time when They were at war with each other

The Demon King who was the most powerful being on the earth and his Underlings who caused this War. The Dragon tribe against Demon tribe, But the real war had started when the Vampire tribe and Necromancer Tribes got involved in the War. The Dragon was known as The savior of humans but The vampire Tribe and Necromancer Tribe had Done something terrible that Even Dragons unleashed their wrath on humanity.

The person who written this book was a Dragon and He put everything that he knew about That battle in from the perspective of Dragons.

According to This book, There was one Demon king and his Four Lords who were the strongest beings similar to Dragons or even more powerful than them. Demon king never came into the battlefield however his subordinate was powerful enough to dominate entire continents by themselves.

Before the war Dragons and Humans, tribes or Vampires, and necromancers team up against demons so they could defeat Demons however, Some of them betrayed Dragons and Leaked crucial information to Demons causing the Deaths of lots of dragons who were capable to dominate the Skies.

Only Few Dragon could have had the potential to transform themselves in the Dragon forms and others only had to rely on their humanoid forms in the battles. Humans leaked this information along with the hiding place of Their children and Females who couldn't able to fight. acter getting this information Demons lord killed them without showing any mercy however few of the children survived due to the braveness of female Dragons who were died while protecting their infants.

That was the major reason why The Ancient War took place, at least according to the Dragons...

After hearing This Don was curious where Ray has found the book. Ray told him that Tyson was hiding this book in his closets.

There was a slight smile on Ray's face that didn't go unnoticed by Don, " and what do you think about this fable?"

" Ah... Fable... Nothing it's just Fable made by Stupid Dragon" Ray responded while Drifting into the unknown.

" ha... Stupid Dragon, They committed worse crimes than We did..." The voice added in Ray's head. " They awoke their Death... I swear if Those strange Gods hadn't appeared at the Time then Entire tribes would have been wiped out By Demon king"

" Gods?" Ray questioned the voice but he Realized that he asked that out loud gaining Dons attention.

" What... Did you just-"

" No... I was just talking to myself" Ray stood up.

" Yes, That guy I can't forget his Magical appearance sealed us into stones including Our King" Voice said before vanished inside him.

" Hey... Guys, we have a guest" Tyson came in with a gorgeous girl beside him.

" Scarlett..." Don glance at Them. Rays body tensed up after seeing her.

" Why she is here?" Ray bared in anger, glaring at Scarlett. Scarlett was begun fretting seeing Rays' angry expression.

" For Don" Tyson walk past Ray. " I mean he needs a healer so I asked her help"

" I told you I am fine" Don replied ignoring Scarlett who was looking at him.

" You heard him now get out" Ray glance back at Tyson, anyone could tell looking at his face that he was not happy to see her here.

" I know... because of me your friend had been suffered... But trust me-" Scarlett lowered her gaze but was cut off by Ray

" I don't want to hear anything... just don't want to see your face in front of me"

" He is right we should respect everyone's decisions " Tyson dragged Ray out of the Room leaving Don and Scarlett alone. " let's go, my friend,"

" release my hand you monkey or I will kill-"

The silence falls in the room, Don Went to the Windows while Scarlett began observing the Room. after minutes of silence Scarlett speaks up

" Your house is wonderful" Don smirked at her words while turning back.

" Yes, it is wonderful... Besides that, I had to stay somewhere after you kicked me out"

" I didn't kick you out, you-" She stopped seeing Dons serious gaze " Whatever just take off your shirt"

" I mean... I am... Heal you... I" Her face redden when Don smiled at her words, He approaches her with the same smile on his face

' This guy, he was misunderstood my words but why he was acting like this all of sudden' She thought. Dons behavior has always been mysterious to her nor even her psychic senses telling her about his intentions.

Don stood close to her " Say it again". Scarlett took a step back with a slightly angry expression.

" Take your shirt off, I have different things to do other than keeping you entertained"

" Like what"

" Why do you care just do what I told you to do or else, I am going out of here"

" Then go ahead why are you even bothered to come here" Don scowled turning back. Scarlett stood there without saying anything.

She wanted to leave at once however at the same time she wanted to adopt according to Dons behavior until she Heals him. She signs walking towards him.

" I want to help you, but if you keep acting like this then nobody would take initiative to help you with that attitude"

Don paused for a moment before throwing his, T-shirt at the ground. Scarlett hesitated to look at him first but when Don beckoned her she took a forward step Towards him

The Comforting feeling dances through Dons Chest when he saw The wounds on his chest began closing but before they could be healed completely. Scarlett loosed her balance due to additional use of her powers

She only could be able to use her powers to some extent however this time he was trying to heal Don so he couldn't feel the pain that he had felt last night.

After seeing she lost her balance Don pulled her into his embrace.

Their eyes locked with each other while their lips were only a few inches apart. Both of them feeling strange feelings inside their hearts even Don.

Scarlett's soft hands were placed on Don's muscular chest avoiding the scars while Don's hands were around her waist. Don felt like her eyes were trying to devour him if he took further steps and her delicate lips were waiting for Don to capture them for once.

Scarlett was feeling worried, she doesn't want this moment to end. His handsome face was the most distracting thing she had seen from this close while she lost herself to him.

" Are you.....Ah, My mistake I will come back " Tyson Turn back but he stopped when he didn't hear their reaction " ahem... Should I go back or"

Don and Scarlett separated from each other. Don scratched his head while faking to find something below the bed. Scarlett makes her hair behind her ear while walking past Tyson who was standing at the door. Tyson could see redness on her cheeks.

" Did you find anything?" Tyson asked Don with mocking Him. Don stopped searching with exchanging smile...

Ray was walking back and forth in the alley, He was frustrated" This is getting worse and worse"

" I told you to finish her off but you..." Voice said in a disappointed tone. " Ray we have to finish her before He came back or else"

" Yeah... I know but It's difficult and This fucking Dragon was making it hard to do anything"

" what about that Boy, do you truly think that he could become potential allies ?"

" Yes... but first, he has to stay away from things that make him weak like attachments" .....
