Chapter 34: Denial

Early in the morning Ren parked his car in front of the building, obviously waiting for me. Well, we agreed that I won't do it but him being determined that I will not reject him. He used some kind of trick which is a museum. I don't know how he remembered that one of my bucket list was to go on date in a Museum. Nothing in particular, can be an art, ancient or whatever.

"You said it when we're walking in the Intramuros."

What?

"You remember it?"

"Of course, I'll remember it that's my--"

"Your?"

"My first birthday with you." He shyly said. Why do I find it cute now when he put his hand to his nape acting shy.

"You don't like party? Celebrating your birthday?"

"No." He said more like avoiding the topic of celebrating his birthday.

"How about you? When is your birthday?"

"Same as yours." I said while wearing a seatbelt.

"Huh? Why didn't you tell me?"

"You never asked and I also didn't know that's your birthday."
