Chapter 24: Match (2)

When my pictures and name appear on the screen, I stood up and prepare to go to the arena.

Looking at my opponent's picture, "This is a man, huh. I am curious what kind of Digimon did he have."

I arrive at the arena first then followed by my opponent on the other side.

"Hello, my name is Terry. Nice to see you.", said my opponent introduced himself.

"Hello, my name is Jovan, Nice to see you too.", I replied his greeting.

It didn't take a long time for a referee to come and go to the middle of us. "Okay, both of you are ready?", said the referee in the middle of the field.

"Yes, sir.", said both of us at the same time.

"Then, the battle begins", said the referee as we start to battle.

"Go, Gabumon!", said Terry as he released his Digimon.

At the same time, I also let my Digimon out, "Go, I leave it to you, Palmon."

"Wow, it is Palmon looks like I have the advantage, right, Jovan?", said Terry looking at my Digimon to try to provoke me.

"Yeah, then I hope you don't lose to me.", I replied to his mock.

"Of course, I will not lose.", he replied.

"Gabumon, go use drill horn!", said Terry as Gabumon use his horn to attack Palmon " Drill Horn!".

I smiled and ordered Palmon, "Palmon, use Stinky Stench to defend it.". Then, Palmon let out Stinky Stench, "Stinky Stench", and makes Gabumon cancel his skill when smells Stinky Stench from Palmon.

" Gabumon, don't mind it just focus on battle.", looking at his Gabumon who was affected by Stinky Stench, Terry reminded him.

As Gabumon is still affected by Stinky Stench, I take this chance and ordered Palmon again, "Palmon, use Root Stretch.". Then, Palmon makes her fingers long and lashes them like a whip, " Root Stretch", towards Gabumon.

"Nooo, Gabumon dodge It,", said Terry looking at the attack coming towards Gabumon

Gabumon who is still affected by Stinky Stench wakes up because Terry is a warning. But it is too late and Gabumon got hit by this attack.

Then, Gabumon got blown away because of it. Seeing Gabumon got hit, Terry asked worriedly, "Gabumon!!! Are you okay?"

Gabumon as he is heard Terry is called. He is standing up, "I am okay, Terry", replied Gabumon to Terry.

"Good, Now, Gabumom uses Petit Fire to avenge the previous attack.", looking at the Gabumon who already stood up, Terry immediately orders him.

" Petit Fire," Gabumon attacked with a flame from its mouth. But the flame is much smaller than normal.

"Looks like this is my win, Palmon, use Poison Ivy.", I said and ordered Palmon.

"Poison Ivy," as her finger got long then go through Gabumon's Petit Fire and entangled Gabumon with it because there is a toxin on it Gabumon no longer can move.

Looking at this the referee declared, "Palmon win, this battle win by Jovan."

"Gabumon, thank you for your hard work.", Terry said as he takes Gabumon back to the digicube.

Seeing Palmon get close to me I hug her then I said, " Thank you, Palmon, now rest for a while because we still have battle after this."

"Okay, Jovan.", Palmon replied as I took her back to the digicube.

Then Terry come to me, extended his hand and said, "Congratulations, and good luck for your next round."

"Yes, thank you. That was a good battle.", I replied and grasping his hand to do a handshake.

Then, we separate our way as I am going back to the gymnasium and he is going to another room.
