A change in Attitude and desire

Jay exited the terraforming option and came back to reality once more. His body seemed to jump, as if he just got terribly frightened.

Phineas bowed and said,"Welcome back father, I have witnessed the creation process and must say I am impressed!"

Jay didn't answer as he was just being a kissass. Jay was a fresh novice in this kind of thing, of course he would not get good results on his first try!

[Final terraforming cost: 150 GP + 100 GP (finalization mode)]

Jay was now down to 350 GP but didn't mind that much as he had realized that GP really was just basically a tool. You could make it a currency sure, but it was still just another exploitable tool at the end of the day. So Jay had decided to just have fun with it.

Jay asked,"What is next Phineas?"

Phineas replied happily,"Well Father, now you will start the simulation, I recommend the 1 billion to 1 ratio until you have your first micro organism, then we shall slow it down to 100 million to 1 till we get to fish and vertebrates. 1 million to 1 till we get to creatures walking on land, and 10 thousand to 1 till we get our first natural sub sentient creature. When we get to that point I suggest we stop and talk about the next move forwards."

Jay was a little overwhelmed with all the information but started the first instruction as exactly as he was told.

The planet started spinning a billion to 1 as water slowly started to fill Stelaras massive basins.

Jay watched in silence as he also felt the bond between him and his planet was strengthening by the minute. He no longer had any thoughts about abandoning this planet at the first opportunity. Only if someone offered him a deal for it.

Jay then watched in amazement as the tectonic plates shifted, causing more eruptions, more land and more water to sprout. This was also causing the land to start to move into their correct final positions that Jay had layed out.

Jay then watched in utter disbelief as the simulation actually simulated the giant fissure ravine being opened! He didn't expect that!

Then as the planet continued moving forwards in time the "forces" of the water and earthquakes made all the intricate carvings in the land at the bottom as well.

Jay would now need a pretty good deal to even entice him, this was too cool!

Then geysers started to appear naturally and micro-cells started to form in the hot waters.

A few minutes later..

10 minutes after that Jay, who was still stuck silently watching evolution in awe, heard another alert.

Jay now realized that it would take alot to take the planet off him now. He felt a kinship with it, like a son and father bond. He wanted to protect thus growing world.

Jay now looked at the lush and vibrant world, painted in different beautiful colors like a tapestry of the gods. He was already so satisfied.

Jay looked at the first land creature. It looked like a more aquatic version of a komodo dragon, with the biggest difference being its streamlined body that was meant to chase down fast prey in the oceans.

Jay waited and watched as the time crept forwards, New species being introduced and yet he couldn't help but watch the many branches of the first land creature. It had gone three distinct paths, 1 of the trees had veered off into evolving into giant venomous bearded dragon looking creatures. The second went down a snake/Wyrm tree as this creature had small batlike wings attached to its snake like body that allowed it to glide to attack prey or escape a predator. The third tree went down the path of camouflage and flattening their already streamlined bodies. They would hide on forest floors or on trees in wait and pounce on their prey!

Jay was amazed at how well the gene pool had managed to already diversify itself.

Jay let the time play out more and then he heard the final notification.

Jay then did as Phineas said and paused the world. Jay looked at the first sub sentient creature. It was a mole of some kind that lived in large groups and tunnel underneath the ground, where they make communities. They were pretty cute but their noses were long like an ant eaters, making them appear awkwardly shaped as a result.

Jay looked at Phineas and said,"I finished and I still have 366 GP remaining. What's next Phineas?"

Phineas bowed gracefully and said,"Now that you have successfully gotten to sub-sentient, we should now make the gods of the world. Of course you could also forgo any God at all, much like the hands off approach of your previous God."

Jay nodded and said,"Well, I guess let's do that. How do I start?"

Phineas nodded and said,"You should have a level 1 creature creation machine in your system inventory. Place it wherever in the room you would like. After that is done we can start on creating my brother's and sisters!"

Jay laughed and smiled genuinely for the first time since he had gotten here. Jay could no longer go back to the person he once was, he was no longer a coward looking for a way out or for a way to unload this on someone else. He cared too deeply about this planet of his, the connection was just too strong.

Jay could feel every creature on the planet. Jay could feel their fear, anger, happiness, joy, and every other emotion. Instead of burdening him he instead felt more of a connection, and the conviction to protect ignited within his new godly heart.

Jay thought to himself," I will not run. I will stay, grow, protect and cherish this new life!"
