In the original movie plot, during Shaw's meeting with Colonel Hendry, Moira MacTaggert, a female CIA agent, accidentally spotted them at the Hellfire Club. She stumbled upon Red Devil, the White Queen, and their abilities, unveiling the subsequent plan. Ivan, attempting to alter certain events, to test the world's correction power.

On the meeting day, Ivan and his group visited another Hellfire Club branch in Las Vegas. Ivan, however, chose not to appear, concocting a reason to separate from Shaw's group and lurk in the shadows, anticipating something significant.

Using his formidable mental strength, Ivan investigated the club's surroundings with half an hour remaining until the agreed time. Even before Hendry's arrival, Ivan identified his target—a black car.

Although the car appeared ordinary, an inspection revealed its interior modifications, housing advanced equipment exclusive to senior agents.

"It's finally here," Ivan remarked quietly.

Inside the car, a suited driver and a long-haired woman used binoculars to observe the club's surroundings, engaging in intermittent conversation. After ten minutes, another car pulled up. Hendry exited, exchanged words at the door, and entered the club.

The presence of a high-ranking American military officer raised suspicion. Acting quickly, Moira, a special agent, sensed something amiss and shed her coat, joining a group of scantily clad women to enter the club.

Observing this, Ivan, utilizing nanorobots on his skin, changed his appearance. As Moira sneaked into the back of the club to inspect documents, Ivan confronted her unexpectedly.

Caught off guard, Moira stammered, "Who are you? Why are you here? Is Azazel the one who sent you?"

"Yes! Azazel did," Moira reluctantly admitted. Ivan, feigning surprise, said,

"Excellent! Azazel found me a capable ally. Come with me," leading her through a side door with a sense of urgency.

As they walked towards a lavish room, Moira, sensing the situation, wanted to find an excuse to leave but felt conflicted due to her mission. In the room, uncertainty loomed as Ivan continued to play his part, and the room echoed with suggestive sounds.

Meanwhile, after Shaw's encounter with Colonel Hendry resulted in a dispute, they were first disciplined by the torrent and then manipulated by the White Queen through telepathy. Eventually, they yielded to Shaw's request and were teleported away by Red Devil.

...

Thirty minutes later, Ivan appeared visibly exhausted and seemingly fell asleep on the bed. Moira, enduring the pain throughout her body, sat up and began dressing.

Observing Ivan lying on his back, seemingly asleep, Moira cursed inwardly at the deceptive nature of this robust body that had nearly overwhelmed her earlier. Now, she resolved to take action and eliminate the person before her.

Unbeknownst to the beauty agent, Ivan hadn't actually fallen asleep. The strenuous activity earlier was his attempt to exert self-control.

As Moira exited the room, the seemingly soundly sleeping Ivan suddenly opened his eyes, stretching in a refreshed manner. Reflecting on the recent passion, he used his mental power to assess the beautiful agent's situation.

Initially, Ivan sported an unforgettable smile, but it soon froze on his face. The unfolding events left Ivan so despondent that he felt nearly nauseous.

Returning along the original path, Moira reached the room where she had encountered Ivan before. A whining sound emanated from the adjacent room. Peering through a gap, she discovered a man conjuring a whirlwind with his hands – the unmistakable work of the torrent, practicing control over his supernatural ability.

The drama continued as a "bang" sounded, and the red mist appeared, revealing Red Devil in the room.

"Azazel, Colonel Hendry sent him back. Was it timely? Ensure there's no suspicion," Shaw, sipping red wine, asked casually.

"No issues. No one would believe Colonel Hendry can cover 3,000 kilometers to the war room instantly. Currently, he's there advocating for the deployment of PGM-19 'Jupiter' nuclear bombs in Turkey to deter the Soviet Union."

Unaware of eavesdropping, the Red Devil disclosed more than he should have.

Moira, comprehending the gravity of the situation, suppressed her panic and exited with an impassive expression.

Ivan abruptly sat up, a fierce glint in his eyes, prepared to address Moira's interference, but soon reclined, weakened.

Unexpectedly, despite Ivan's careful planning, Moira missed witnessing the White Queen's transformation into a diamond form and the Red Devil sending Colonel Hendry away. Instead, she observed the Riptide controlling a whirlwind and the return of the Red Devil. Ivan's efforts seemed in vain, the only gain being a beautiful girl, a small satisfaction in the larger scheme of things.

Ivan's decision not to leave Moira stemmed from his understanding that if the world's correction power orchestrated everything, Moira wasn't indispensable. She wasn't as crucial as he had imagined. Even without Moira, Professor X, Magneto, Mystique, and others would likely converge for various reasons or accidents, leading to the inevitable decisive battle between the two mutants. Ivan couldn't help but curse at the whims of fate.

After Moira escaped the Hellfire Club, she reported the unbelievable events, including Colonel Hendry being manipulated into provoking the Cuban Missile Crisis. Unfortunately, her superiors dismissed her account since Hendry was physically present near her superior during the call, making it impossible for anyone to travel 3,000 kilometers in such a short time.

Regardless of Moira's explanations, they fell on deaf ears. Convinced of what she had seen, Moira resolved to investigate the truth independently. After collecting substantial information, she focused on a paper written by Charles, an Oxford University graduate, discussing human mutation leading to becoming a mutant. Her eyes flashed with determination as everything circled back to the starting point.

Days later, after Shaw handled internal affairs at Hellfire, he left the Red Devil to handle remaining tasks. Leading Ivan, Emma, and Riptide, he headed to Miami, USA, during the hottest period. While Ivan enjoyed a leisurely life on the yacht, Shaw dealt with daily challenges to ensure the plan's smooth progress. Colonel Hendry was invited to the yacht with the intention of eliminating him as he had become expendable.

As in the original plot, after confirming that Colonel Hendry hadn't leaked information, preparations were made to kill him. However, Hendry, somewhat prepared, attempted to threaten Shaw with a bomb. Shaw, unfazed, detonated the bomb, absorbing its power, reducing Hendry to ashes.

Ivan, showing no sympathy for Colonel Hendry, watched the spectacle and retired early. He needed to recharge as Magneto, Charles, Mystique, and the main event were set to arrive soon. Ivan eagerly anticipated their involvement in the unfolding narrative.
