Numbness

                Savarus was thinking about Oscar, when he told Bethany that word, because he knows that in one way or the other, if Oscar die on his road of revenge, Bethany wouldn't be the same anymore.

"I have something I want to request from you. I would really appreciate it if you take me as your student and train me on how to fight" said Bethany.

"But you already know how to fight, so I don't see a need for you to learn more".

"I don't need anyone to tell me because I know already, our clan isn't that on the same level with the rest clan, so I want you to teach me so that I will be able to protect the clan and also raise it to his formal glory".

"Okay, if you insist, but it's really going to be hard, are you sure you are ready for that challenge" asked Savarus.

"I'm ready and I'm sure you will take it lightly with me".

"Why do you think so".

"I just know so".

"How old were you when you started learning martial art" asked Savarus.

"I'm sure it's around fourteen, what about you".

"I started when I was seven".

"What!!!, that young, isn't that too much".

"You should tell that to the old man who adopted me" said Savarus while laughing.

"I want to ask you this question, what are the character you expect from your ideal soul mate".

"I don't really believe on soul mate, but if you are trying to ask me how I picture my wife to be, well I can tell you".

"Okay then, tell me how you picture your wife to be".

"She would have a natural black hair, an elegant smile, the ability to speak her mind freely, caring and loving, just like you, I think that's all I can think of, she doesn't have to be perfect in every way, what about you, how do you picture your husband to be".

"I want a man who I can relied on for help, not those that will desert me in times of trouble, someone who would be proud of who I am and won't shy to fluent me to his family and friends, someone with the heart of a leader".

"You sure do want a perfect man, don't you".

"Is that too much to ask" laughed Bethany.

"It's getting late, let's head back home now" said Savarus.

"Can't we just stay for some few minutes, I don't feel like going back now".

"Do whatever you want, but when you caugth a cold don't blame me".

"Don't worry I won't".

After some minutes of waiting, Bethany wasn't still ready to go yet, she was just looking at the calm sea and look completely lost in her thought, Savarus was becoming tired and impatient.

"Aren't you tired of gazing at the sea".

"Okay let's go now" said Bethany while standing up to walk, but was surprised to fall back down on the chair.

'What is happening, why is my leg numb at this kind of time' she tried getting up again, but the results was the same.

Savarus was just looking at her with his eyes wide open, he was looking at the scene like if it was the first time he was seeing something like that.

"You never listen, all those time I have been telling you to stand up so we can take our leave, but you said no, now your legs are numb because of the long period you have been sitting down".

"Are you going to help me or not, we might as well stay here through out the night" said Bethany which causes Savarus to sighed.

"Even in this your current situation, you still feel like commanding for help and not plead for it" said Savarus while using his back to face her direction and going down on one knee "get on".

Bethany didn't say anything, she just hug his neck and climb on his back, Savarus got up and started walking like if there was no weight on his back. 

"I really admire you in some way, you are well built and also good at martial arts".

"Thanks for the compliment".

"You're welcome" said Bethany, after the small talk, there wasn't any conversation between them, it was total silence, what came unexpected to Savarus was a sneeze from Bethany which landed on his head, another followed after the first.

"I'm really sorry about that" said Bethany why trying to hold in her sneeze which was trying to come out.

"I warned you about catching a cold, but you didn't listen, now I have been a victim to your ignorance, first of all, your leg went numb and now you have caught a cold, what haven't gone wrong already" the moment Savarus finish saying this words, he could feel the presence of people coming to their direction. He kept on walking untill he got to an spot with just one entrance, one way in and one way out.

'This is perfect, It's just one entrance so they don't have any other way to get to me than the front, I just have to drop Bethany here and move six feet to the front' Savarus inwardly said while dropping Bethany on the floor and removing his outer cloth and putting it around her to keep her warm, he was just left with his white inner top.

"Savarus I can heard footstep, there are people coming".

"I knowz that's why we are here, I will just take care of them quickly and get us home".

'This time around, I will make sure to kill them all without hesitating".

"Please, make sure you quickly finish it and don't leave me alone like last time" said Bethany.

"Don't worry I won't" .

The men has gotten to the entrance of the alleyway, they were about eight in numbers.

"Who sent you guys" asked Savarus.

"Like if we are going to tell you".

"Well then, say hello to your death'" Savarus run at a speed of light, immediately slitting the throat of the person that replied him "I will ask one more time, who sent you guys".
