odd tattoo

in an unknown location. a figure stood hovering above a burning house, his crimson red eyes matching his hair. the wind blew causing the fire to spread even further around the surrounding environment

" everything is done "

" is it though?"

seemingly out of nowhere another figure emerged and approached the latter

" I see you finish your assignment early that is only expected of you Eric. killing off that entire family without even blinking an eye you really are a cold devil aren't you"

ignoring the other the red-haired male lowered himself effortlessly to the ground he walks towards the opposite direction of the burning house. the white haired male followed

" where to now my prince? are you perhaps looking for another prey?"

" if you keep saying irrelevant things. will kill you"

the white haired male smiled briefly

" you really are quite the charmer and you. and for some reason I really believe you would kill me"

Eric gave him the most lucid glare

" know your place Damien" he bit out

Damien smirked " I already do my prince. it is only that sometimes the sheerness of your ruthlessness astounds me. you really are the son of Lucifer"

" a devil must remain a devil. ruthlessness has nothing to do with it. those who have seen us must be extinguished in the Flames of Hell"

"yeah yeah whatever but I didn't see a reason to kill the entire family we had what we came for"

Eric expression didn't manifest any emotion. he dug his hand into his pocket

" the laws of hell must be enforced. who cares if a couple of humans got killed"

Damian's grin widened " men your cold"

" let us proceed "

Angie wipe the tears from her eyes as she continues cutting the onions. this was the reason why she hated cooking but she knew her mother will not be pleased if she discarded her Duty

speaking of her mother the woman was cutting her own share of vegetables effortlessly. and you decided to ask a question one that had been bugging her since her visit from the hospital

" mum?"

" hmm?"

" why does grandma believe our family is cursed?"

her mother looked up at her

" what do you mean?"

" she kept saying something about the devil and dreams. I don't really understand but she seemed rather serious about it"

her mother sighed focusing her attention back on the vegetables

" your grandmother is sick . it's not a surprise she would say nonsense. just forget about it"

but Angie could not simply forget about it. not when her grandmother has been so scared and certain that something bad was going to happen

" but why is it that we don't go to church" that was again another thing that bothered her and also something her grandmother had mentioned

" you can pray right from home honey. going to church isn't necessary "

" but.."

" Angie!"

the girl flinched at her mother's outburst

" I would appreciate it if you will do your chores quietly and not ask stupid questions"

" but this isn't even a chore so stop I'm cutting vegetables for goodness sake"

" do you want me to give you something harsher because I can do that"

her mother seems serious. I decided to shut up as she wasn't in the mood to be punished.

a couple of minutes past in silence as mother and daughter prepared dinner. that was until the sound of the doorbell broke silence

" I'll get it"

Angie made her way out of the kitchen and towards the door unlocking it to reveal a familiar figure

" hey Daddy"

" hello honey"

her father pulled her into a hug ruffling her hair a bit

" how was work?"

" boring as usual"

she shut the door closed when he walked inside

"something smells rather magnificent"

" mom's making dinner"

" great to stop I'm starving let me just go and freshen up first"

her dad headed upstairs. since she was already in the living room and you decided that some television my lighting her mood a bit. switching the TV on the first thing that popped up was the news channel her father always to watched

it was a report on a forest fire. it was claimed that the fire has started from a small cottage in the woods and had consumed half of Elton Woods. there was an image of the burnt down pieces that once used to be a house displayed on the TV full stop and escorted her eyes when she noticed two figures standing just in the middle of the burnt House. she couldn't quite see them clearly but the odd colouring of their hair was what caught her attention

there wasn't anything mentioned on the news about them full stop and the camera was angles like it wasn't even meant to capture them. didn't the news crew see them? why won't the question? surely it was odd

" Angie! get back in the kitchen this instant!" her mother's voice echoed loudly through the house. Angie sighed

there goes her leisure period

" coming"

after having dinner with her parents Angie had headed upstairs to her room to stop grabbing her pyjamas she came to a conclusion that taking a shower will help her sleep better

heading towards her bathroom she heated up the water to a satisfying temperature bringing with her her favourite shampoo she stripped off her clothes and hopped into the shower stall. having the warm water soaking her and you wash off her hair with the shampoo before proceeding to sponge off the dirt from her body

feeling completely satisfied he turned off the shower and stepped out of the store grabbing a towel and wrapping around her body. stepping into her room and you dried her hair with a hair dryer she however froze in her movements when something caught her attention

they're just below her lower wrist was an odd Mark that seem to have been scribbled in ink

Angie didn't remember ever getting a tattoo or even seen the Mark before. on closer inspection she noticed it was a writing, a name to be more specific

' Eric'

who the hell was Eric and why did this writing suddenly appear on her wrist

she didn't even remember seeing it yesterday or this morning. and you try to wipe it off but it wouldn't budge. she uses house to wipe harder until she felt the skin become tender and sore but still the odd name was still there

Angie sighed. just whatever. she's seen weirder things in her life. he went back to drying her hair and decided to ignore the name scribbled on her wrist
