There are four major ranks in power

The Alphas: leader of the pack

The Betas: assists the alpha and leads the pack only when the alpha is unavailable. I.e on a visit at another pack, dead/critically ill and Indisposed.

The Gammas: assists the beta and takes charge of the pack only when the Alpha and Beta are totally unavailable

The Omegas: takes care of the pack house, kitchen, laundry and everything to do with chores, cleaning the training grounds/facility and looking after the packs pups.

There are other roles like warriors, border patrols, generals, commanders, technical teams, pack doctors and healers, spies, field agents, mercenaries, trackers and financial experts that assist the alpha in planning a budget for the pack.

The strength of a pack depends on how strong the Alpha and beta are, the number of its pack members and the size of their land, assets and connections with other Alphas. Great alliances mean great connections and great connections mean more stronghold against potential enemies and threats to the pack

In this book, Alpha, Beta, Gamma and omega roles are determined by a test at the age of 12 and some manifest their trait roles before reaching twelve.

Most cases of early role paths are shown in omegas. Omegas are like breeding tools for higher ranks and officials and in order to attract strong partners for breeding omegas go through heat ten days every two months. When they're heat cycle begins their body releases strong addictive pheromones that attracts everyone higher than omegas in rank, power, and physical strength and till the heat cycle ends they have sex 10-15 times daily but most occasions it attracts Alphas and Betas more than other ranks in a pack. due to their special build they're body heals it self and goes back to its original tight calm state before all the heated, raw sex took place.

Once these pheromones are released every un-mated wolf (male and females) within a 100 mile radius instantly gets pulled by the sweet scent and they're carnal animalistic desires to find the source of such alluring scent and claim the source of it clouds their senses and humane reasoning till they can find the source and satiate their thirst.

Male omegas are more fertile than female omegas and are pretty than female omegas with more feminine build and softer appearances and in 100 birth of omegas only 20% are male so they are seen as gold and are considered treasures especially by Alphas.

Just like females, male omegas also have a hymen that can be broken when deflowered and like females the process brings forth blood. Alphas/Betas/gammas see it as a prize when they're mated to Omegas and the omega is pure in every form but there are cases where the higher rank despises omegas and sees them as weak burdens and whores who are only good for breeding pups and may end up rejecting the omega.

There are also rare cases where higher ranks are paired as fated mates(Alpha-Alpha, Alpha-Beta, Beta-Beta, and cases of pairs like Alpha-Gamma, Beta-Gamma, Gamma-Gamma, Gamma-Omega).

Sometimes there are complicated matings where higher ranks are fated to share one mate and the paring is more complex(Alpha-Alpha-Alpha, Alpha-Beta-Alpha, Alpha-Beta-Beta, Alpha-Beta-Gamma, Beta-Beta-Beta, Beta-Alpha-Beta, Beta-Alpha-Alpha, Beta-Gamma-Beta, Beta-Gamma-Gamma, Gamma-Gamma-Gamma, Gamma-Beta-Alpha, Gamma-Beta-Beta, Gamma-Alpha-Alpha) and cases where one or two omegas are in the pair.

Because of their unique breeding capabilities, Omegas are NEVER paired together. There are also elders in a pack that assists the Alpha.
