TAP TAP TAP

Something was poking his face. It was constant, and slowly woke Sora from his dreams. He opened his eyes to see the broken doll frowning.

"Sora! I'm so hungry…I'm dying!" Alice groaned.

GRUMBLE

Her stomach announced its presence to the world. Sora could feel the vibrations through his chest. She was famished.

"...Look." He muttered.

His finger pointed to the side of the bed. Following his direction, Alice noticed a tray sitting on the drawer. Two servings of steaming omelets and pancakes were already prepared. Her face lit up with joy. When she tried to reach for the plate, she began to tremble.

"Urgh!" She groaned. Her body was twitching.

'Did she just have a mini-orgasm?' He thought with amusement. Alice turned back to him with a frown.

"It still feels like you're inside me! Hmph!" She pouted.

"You're so cute…" He exclaimed while sitting up.

Sora kept her in his lap while grabbing the tray. The mistress quickly snatched her plate and wolfed it down. It barely took a minute for it to be devoured. Once she was done, she glanced at his plate then stared at him with puppy eyes.

"Fiiine." He relented. A wry smile adorned his face as she took his plate.

Alice didn't waste any time. Her cheeks were puffed up due to how much food she put in her mouth. The sleepy man couldn't help but caress her soft skin as she ate.

It was time to work. A new week had started, and today would be the first order of business. Alice had to make a trip to Metropolis for a few days. This meant that Sora would be going as well. Sponsorships were the focus of this trip.

As he opened the passenger door to the Pagani Roadster, he waited for the mistress to hop in. This time she wore an all white sundress with cute sandals. The black nail polish on her cute little toes contrasted with the outfit.

Sora only wore the casual dress clothes of a white button, a loose tie, and black pants. His thoughts became grounded upon hearing the jingle of Alice's ankle bracelet. He'd made her switch out the previous piece for his newly created one. It glowed with darklight.

"Never take off that bracelet, alright?" He ordered with a stern voice. Alice pushed Sora's face away.

"I know, I know! You said it five times already! I'll wear it even in the shower, okay?"

"Mnn…good."

Without further ado, Sora started the engine. A deep growl was emitted as it roared with life. The hyper car pulled out of the estate before getting to the highway. The young man floored the gas.

VROOOM

2 hours had passed before they finally reached their destination. Sora looked up at the tall building which said 'The Daily Planet.' A globe sat behind the title.

Honestly, he wasn't that excited about this. God had basically guaranteed that he would get involved with major characters due to his looks alone. He just wanted to relax. Was that too much to ask?

"Stupid hair…stupid eyes…" Sora grumbled to himself.

The two eventually made their way into the building. A receptionist sat behind a walled desk while typing on her keyboard. She was too busy to notice their entrance. Once Sora was directly in front of her, she looked away from the monitor.

"Excuse me, we have a meeting with Perry White today. Can you inform him of our arrival?" He asked politely.

"Of course. Can I get a name?" She responded formally.

"Lockhart." Alice spoke up.

The worker didn't even glance at the doll. She was too focused on the young butler. Her eyes lingered before eventually grabbing the phone. Alice's eyes darkened. Out of nowhere, a table knife appeared in her hand. Sora's eyes widened.

'Where the hell was she hiding that?' He thought.

He calmly grabbed her wrist. It wouldn't be good if the receptionist died here. Especially for a reason as insignificant as this.

"Okay, please take the elevator to the 11th floor." The lady announced after hanging up the phone.

"Thank you." He responded.

They proceeded to the elevator. Alice clicked the button for the 11th floor several times. Once they were in and the doors closed, she jumped on him. Sora caught her by the thighs.

"Alice, it's really not-" He couldn't finish his sentence.

Her tongue was already exploring his mouth. A steamy kiss ensued within the elevator. The young man wanted to roll his eyes.

'It's really not that serious. She's just a random worker.' He thought.

After a good 45 seconds, they were on the 11th floor. A flushed but proud Alice could be seen walking out. Sora trailed closely behind her with his hands in his pockets.

Journalists and staff were rushing to and from their cubicles. The furious typing of keyboards reverberated throughout the room. As the two made their way to the office, a powerful gaze locked onto them.

Sora turned to his right, immediately noticing a journalist. He had curly hair and big plastic glasses. It felt like way too much of a coincidence when he got up from his cubicle. The man greeted his coworkers while heading in Sora's direction.

When he did reach them, he 'accidentally' dropped a large packet of documents. His footing grew unbalanced, causing him to fall. This action stopped Alice and Sora's stride. They both looked down at the man.

"Ah-Sorry. My apologies. I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." He spoke quickly while picking up the papers as fast as he could.

"Siiigh…" Sora heaved a sigh of annoyance.

As the quirky man picked up some papers near Alice's feet, he noticed the ankle bracelet. Sora's name was on the side of it. It was an intricate piece of work. A metal of unknown origins.

To the normal human perception, it was only a fleeting glance. It was different for the young butler. He saw the slight frown on the reporter's face while looking at it. He couldn't tell what metal it was. It left him with questions.

His gaze then passed over Alice's eyes. The empty look made him concerned. Was something wrong with her?

"...Are you done?" Sora's tired voice entered the man's ears.

When the quirky man focused on the voice, they locked eyes. Sora's golden eyes were aggressive. They promised a load of pain if he didn't move his ass out of the way. But it was more than that.

'Stay the fuck out of my business.'

The man could easily understand the look. It seems like he wasn't as slick as he thought. The journalist didn't even finish picking up the rest of the documents.

"Sorry, I'll get out of your way." With an apologetic bow, he scurried away.

Both Alice and Sora stepped through the papers to reach the main office. The door was already open. An old grumpy looking man could be seen arguing with a female reporter.

"Can't you follow a normal story for once? Cover the recent donations to the trust fund. Cover the Justice League. Why must you keep sticking your head in dangerous locations?!" He complained.

"I can't get the information that matters from behind a desk! This is a big one, Perry. Just let me do this."

"No."

"Come on!"

"I said no, Lois."

"Yes, but with paid leave?"

"No, Lois."

"Yes, but with no paid leave?"

"Fine…just go away." The aging man relented.

"Yes!" Lois exclaimed while turning around.

She immediately stopped upon noticing Sora and Alice. Regardless of if she was attracted to Sora or not, it would be impossible to ignore his features. They were supernatural, after all. Her eyes roamed his body before looking away.

"Pardon me." She muttered.

They were blocking the entrance. Sora moved out the way, allowing her to pass. A smile couldn't help but appear on his lips. That same quirky man from earlier was frowning at the interaction. He was eavesdropping from across the floor.

"Ms. Lockhart! Welcome back to the Daily Planet. I haven't seen you in years! Hopefully the drive wasn't too bad?" Perry White greeted politely.

"Hello, Perry. It was alright. Luckily I wasn't the one driving." Alice gestured to Sora.

"Great! And who is this?"

"Mr White. Greetings, my name is Sora."

As soon as Sora revealed his name, the eavesdropping journalist widened his eyes. It was the same name on the ankle bracelet after all. Still, the guy was being quite annoying.

"Nice to meet you. Well then, shall we get to business?" Perry continued.

"Of course. Currently, the income of revenue isn't lining up with our percentages. In order to break even again, a new contract should be made." Alice began.

The sleepy butler immediately tuned out the conversation. His mind wandered as he sat beside her. Before he knew it, he'd dozed off.

After a few hours, the meeting was finally over. Everyone said their goodbyes. It didn't take long for them to reach the car again. As Sora got in the driver's seat, he sensed the gaze again. The reporter was watching him through the window.

'Annoying.'

Hope you enjoyed.
