Nox knelt within his sanctum aboard the Subjugation , His lightsaber hovering Infront of him as it slowly pulled itself apart Infront of him . A small palm sized case sat beside him as it's lid opened , A red haze of light reflecting from its surface as Nox concentrated .

The Qixoni crystal within his lightsaber , Already twisted by it's origin in Qixoni systems destruction , Remade and altered through a week's worth of sorcery alongside being drenched in the Darkside from Nox himself . The crystal had awaited three thousand years for him to use it , Ever eager to serve it's maker .

The aged and dated shell , components and shielding of the lightsaber fell to the side as new components rose from the pool of viscus fluid behind Nox , Metals crafted and altered with sith magix while their maker oversaw the remaking of his lightsaber.

The Black Qixoni crystal with glowing purple scars along it's many faces joined the top of the crystal mount with a new power cell sliding into place under the mount .

Hovering above the Qixoni crystal was a secondary crystal , A shard , Glowing an insidious red with Eldritch energy .

Recently acquired by Nox after he had become aware of the kaiburr crystal , The crystal used by Typhojem to enhance his abilities to absurd heights .

These shards , Rare to the point of being legendary could only by shaved from the kaiburr crystal if done correctly , If not the shaved shard would be as useless as a regular rock .

It had frustrated Nox when he had found it , Stored within the vault on Nathema amoungst several other crystals and focusses .

The shard had never been used , Likely having naturally fallen from the kaiburr crystal in the temple of promojema . But with his connection to Typhojem , As he dropped off a new holocron to store on nathema , The shard reached out to him , Bound itself to him and in doing so drawing his attention to the shard hidden amoungst others .

" You will serve me well " Nox stated as the shard gleefully threw itself to his servitude , The shard hovering above the Qixoni crystal as four prongs connected to the two crystals , Seperating them as the activator linked to the two crystals , Windings around the four prongs as an clear crystal chamber fused together to house the crystals , Leaving them viewable to the outside .

Next to come was the power vortex ring and the insulator as they formed around the battery and power field conductor , The energy gate being constructed , Connecting the crystal chamber to the power cell while a black shell surrounded bottom half of the lightsaber , The clear crystal chamber visible above the black handgrip .

With the bottom of the lightsaber done , Nox turned his attention to the top half of the lightsaber , The first part to be constructed being the central energy channel , Cycling field energizers surrounding the energy channel as the black shell encased them both .

Above that , A power adjustment dial was fitted above the energy channel while the circuits connected and wound themselves as a blade length adjustment dial was constructed on the other side of the hilt , With these in place the blade arc tip was fitted before the upper shell fused together over the exposed circuits .

The emitter protruding from the top of the shell , Another difference between most lightsabers being retrofitted magnetic circuits in place to combat the potential of an enemy having cortosis . A ring tuning flange constructing around these adjustments , With the blade shroud emitter placed above the tuning flange , The final essential piece being the black magnetic stabiliser ring surrounding the emitter .

With the lightsaber constructed , it was time to ass his final personal adjustments .

The emitter was much like Tulak hord's own , except black in colour , The hand grip just below the emitter being moulded to Nox's hand with the activating pressure plate built into its surface . Below the grip was the exposed crystal chamber , The glowing black and purple Qixoni crystal and kaiburr shard Glowing ominously within . The bottom casing being a second power cell handgrip incase the need of adjustment to the grip with a belt ring and access plate at the very bottom of the weapon .

The weapon was ready as Nox gripped the blade through the force , A black and red haze surrounding the hilt as runes once more carved themselves into the new shell of the lightsaber .

The force screeched and churned under the presence resonating from the weapon , The runes coloured molten orange from the heat they emitted .

Reaching out and grabbing the new lightsaber , Nox snarled as the orange runes flashed from Orange to midnight purple once more as the weapon , In its new evolution rejoiced at his touch , Binding with him once more on a level inconceivable to those who weren't able to feel it themselves .

Standing from his knelt position , Nox held the lightsaber Infront of him as he looked over its new design , Pride ringing from him in swathes as the crystals glowed against the skin of his wrist .

Activating the weapon , A scream of terrifying , Ear drum exploding octaves tore from the weapon as red lightning flashed across the blade naturally from the kaiburr crystal within the purple shroud of the blade surrounding the black beam .

" Perfect " Nox swung the weapon as the force screeched , The weapon absorbing the abmient force energies in their surroundings into itself , Sharing it with Nox as it strengthened both him and itself perpetually .

Disengaging the blade , Nox clipped the new weapon to his belt before departing the room , Leaving it to be cleaned by service droids .

PRESENT 31 - BBY

Nox sat on the throne of Jabba the Hutt , A throne positioned on the slab that Jabba would usually lay on himself .

The room dark even with the lights on , Shadows twisted to the imaginations of those present as they twisted uneasily .

Vaylin sat comfortably next to the throne as she glared at Jabba's employees , All situated around a table Nox had placed within the room for everyone to sit at .

" Eat " Nox all but ordered as every readily did as they were told , Nox himself holding a glowing blue drink as he swirled it around the glass he held .

Shuffling was heard up the stairs to the left of them , Shadows bouncing from the walls as the heavy foot falls of droids wrung and echoes throughout the room .

" Unhand me , Do you have any idea of who I am , Who I work for " A Zabrak male of pale yellow skin shook the restraints .

Skytroopers marched the zabrak male along side seven other members of the syndicate he was apart of .

" Who the fuck are you " The zabrak spat at seeing Nox where Jabba should be .

" Take a seat " Nox motioned to the eight empty seats , The group being marched to the seats and forced to sit down by the white droids that stood behind each seated person .

" Take off their restraints " Nox ordered as he brought his drink to his lips and drinking .

The droids leant over the men and women as they Undid the restraints .

" Now eat " Nox ordered as the group all looked at each other unsure .

" Where is Jabba " A human woman with black hair and purple eyes asked , Tattoos running down the side of her face .

" I SAID EAT " Nox yelled as he slammed his fist into the throne , Cracking the throne in the process as the room shook " Kill the next one to talk without my permission "

Shaken by the man before them , The large majority of those brought in slowly began to eat what was provided before them , Sharing fruits and meats .

The two youngest of the group , A rodian male and a female mirialan shook as they slowly ate .

" Now , As you're aware Tatooine belongs to Jabba ,But I'm unsure if you're aware of the deals he makes . You see , I am aware you work for borvo , and are apart of the Nal raka . In his most recent attempt to spread his hold , He's taken a piece of land he thought he could reason with Jabba for before actually being permitted . That portion of mos espa ... is mine " Nox swirled his drink as he glared at the group .

" How are we going to fix this " Nox stated as he placed his drink down onto the unbroken side of the throne " You may talk "

The zabrak , showing little care , Took his time to eat as the other looked at him as the head of their branch .

" Borvo would be happy to buy the land from you , Though it would be better for you if you were to ... converse with borvo first " The zabrak offhandedly stated as he brought out a Holo disk , activating it to communicate with borvo himself .

Sure enough , Borvo answered as the Holo disk hovered over the table .

" I assume you're the Hutt they call borvo " Nox regarded the Holo as he slowly rose from the seat .

" That I am young one , And I assume you're the one obstructing my advances in mos espa " The Hutt announced as Nox slowly walked around the table .

" I am , Yes , Since you are encroaching on my territory " Nox rounded the first corner , Passing a dancer who shakily looked over her shoulder as Nox walked by .

" Your territory , That land belongs to the Hutt cartel " Borvo sneered as Nox squinted .

" Correction , It belonged to the cartel , Until I commandeered it with the permission of Jabba himself . You see , I cut a deal with your cousin , The land for my services " Nox regarded as he brought out the agreement on a datapad provided to him from Jabba's aid " It's right here "

" I see , I am sure we can come to some sort of agreement . Afterall everything has a price " Borvo reasoned as Nox nodded , Rounding the second corner to now face the eight leaders .

" That it does , That it does . What is your proposal " Nox asked as he ran a finger through the mirialan's hair as she shook under his touch .

" Allow me the use of your forces and the use of your land and resources , And you will be paid accordingly " Borvo proposed as Nox raised an eyebrow , Putting his hand on the shoulder of the human woman , Maker her shiver at his cold touch .

" That sounds like I'd be under your employment , Wouldn't it be more fair to be business partners " Nox asked as he finally stopped behind the Zabrak , Placing his hands on both the shoulders of the man as the zabrak ate without care .

" Nobody works with me , They work for me , I think you don't understand the position you're in , It's either this deal or I take your land by force " The Hutt spat as Nox squinted , The zabrak chuckling to himself at hearing his employers words .

" I see , is that the hill you want to die on " Nox flexed his finger slightly , Making the zabrak realise he was holding his shoulders .

" Work for me , Or give me your land , That is your choice " Borvo growled .

" I don't think that is the response you wanted to give me . You see , I am aware of genetic traits of a Hutt like yourself , The need to protect and nurture your offspring . I am also aware , You recently had a child yourself didn't you ... borvo , You may want to get into contact with your son, Your highness " Nox chuckled at borvos enraged look , The Hutt spitting out several slurs in huttesse before cutting the Holo .

" Borvo will make you burn " The zabrak below him sneered as Nox turned his head downwards to look at him .

" Is he now , A shame you won't get to see it " Nox growled before his hand surged down , Grabbed the Zabrak by the bottom of his jaw , His other hand grabbing the largest horn on the man's head .

And with a horribly strong tug , Seperated the jaw from the head as the top of the skull came flying off from the bottom of the nose upwards , Spraying those closest in the zabraks life fluids as gasps were heard throughout the table , The human beside the zabrak regurgitating her food onto the stone table as she was coated in the liquid .

Nox simply let the top of the skull drop to the ground , Blood dripping from the tip of his nose as he raised a hand to simply wipe the liquid as it tingled his senses .

With his entire upper body and arms coated into the blood , Nox leant against the table as he crossed his arms , Glaring at the rest of those he had taken .

" Any body else with some smart arse comments " Nox asked as he stared at the group , Each one shaking their heads fervently in denial .

" Didn't think so " Nox quipped as he stood and made his way back to the throne , Sitting back down and retaking his drink .

Before long the Holo disk lit up with an incoming call , Nox staring at the tattoed female human with a pointed gaze , She soon got the point as she rushed to answer the call , The form of borvo quivering in both worry and simmering in his anger .

" What are your demands " Borvo bit as Nox chuckled , His demands already cited In his head as he opened his mouth to speak .

AEOS PRIME

Vas'lucis closed his eyes in meditation , Under the watchful eye of Sifo Dyas who instructed him .

" Let go of your anger , And hate , Let harmony flow through you " Sifo instructed as he watched his recent self appointed Padawan attempt to connect with the force .

It had taken an obscene amount of coercion , Getting to know the boy , Alerting him to having the ability to the force , And much more to even get the boy to be receptive of the idea of becoming a Jedi .

And now , Sifo watched over the boy as he began his firsts steps , Attempting to connect with the esoteric energy , Let it flow through him for the first time .

Watching intently and with care , Sifo walked around the boy as he felt him reach outwards mentally , Searching , Feeling .

And he could only watch with a profound sense of joy as the force rushed and surrounded the teen, Becoming one with him as if they were never split to begin with , Channelling the light in such prominence that he hadnt seen anyone else new to the force perform .

" Amazing " Sifo whispered as he watched several stones lift from the ground soon followed by Vas'lucis himself who levitated .

Sifo continued to gaze on in awe at the boys proficiency , Before suddenly , The boy lost concentration , Shook in the air before crashing down onto the dirt of their cave below .

" Ow " The teen growled as the force around the teen became buried in annoyance .

" Y..You did remarkably well , A..Astronomically for someone only just touching the force . It was amazing " Sifo stuttered as he knelt down and helped the boy up .

" Yea well , If every time I leave that I end up on my face , I ain't doing it " Vas'lucis growled as he dusted off his clothing , Muttering about having to clean them soon .

" D..Don't worry , The more you do it , The more proficient you become , The chance of that happening shrink , It takes patience and a calm mind , But before long you'll be just as good in it as me " Sifo clapped the boy on the back as they ventured to the entrance of the cave .

The season of snow had long since past, Leaving a rocky mountain for them to transverse with the city far down the bottom.

Watching the boy with a small smile , Sifo gazed at him through the force , And sure enough , Without the boys knowledge , The force flowed through him freely , Unrestrained by any doubts or fear .

A small frown marred his face , He had to report to the council soon enough , He didn't know what to say to them . Announcing he had a Padawan to them may cause an issue .

He knew , Felt it in his very core that this boy was the saving grace the Jedi needed , The didn't know it but if the order had any hope of surviving than this boy was needed .

The issue was this boy was old , Almost double the age of the limit they could accept . And that along with several other factors may cause the council to outright forbid him from training Vas'lucis . And that he could not let pass .

" Are you coming or what " The voice of the teen at the entrance of the cave drew him from his thoughts , Brown hair flowing against the string winds as his white shirt and chest holster jostled in the wind .

" S...S..Sorry , This old man was stuck in his thoughts " Sifo chuckled before leaping to the entrance of the cave .

And before them was a potential training course , High outcrops of rocks , Far and inbetween trees and slippery slopes . Yes , This would do nicely .

" There's something I want to show you on our way down " Sifo told the boy who crossed his arms and out weight on his right leg .

" Well " The teen motioned to see what Sifo was going on about , Causing the Jedi to sweat drop before jumping from the entrance of the cave to a rock twenty feet away down the cliffs .

" How the hell did you do that " Vas'lucis yelled out as Sifo looked up at him.

" Let the force guide you , Wait " Sifo leapt back up much to the boys surprise " Let me show you how to do it "

And so the second lesson readily available to the teen began much to the amusement of the Jedi master .

WITH ANAKIN AND QUI-GON

Snow pelted against the wraps and goggles Anakin wore , The ice cold world of Mygeeto open before him and Qui-gon as they walked towards a mining colony .

" M...master ... how...how long until we arrive " Anakin shook under the snow , Teeth chattering as the older Jedi guided him towards the colonies .

" Not long now , We're almost there " Qui-gon himself wore a thick cloak , A face mask and goggles that sheltered him from the blizzard .

Lurmen skittered around them as their guide walked without too much fault in his steps .

Anakin was in awe of the crystalline structures that littered the land , The sunlight was low as the blizzard obscured the skies .

The children of these bipedal ape creatures hung close to Anakin , The warm sensation he gave off physically and through the force drawing the children near , Warming them .

Slowly as they walked through the Hubble of small buildings , Slowly , The smallest of these children , Reached up to physically hold Anakin , Shivering against the cold as the weak creature tried to gain warmth from the boy .

Looking down , Anakin peered into the wide eyes of the malnourished ape , The wide yellow eyes peering into his goggles .

Looking over the ape , Anakin was overcome with sorrow as he reached down and lifted the tiny ape as it hugged him .

Opening up his coat , Anakin wrapped both himself and the freezing lurmen .

Memories of watching other slaves shuffling around , Beaten and malnourished , Weathering the Tatooine heat as he himself was fed and sheltered safely under the gaze of his mother and farmer .

They would bring in and shelter anyone who managed to escape , Giving them a stipend and safe travels off world , To give them a chance at a better life .

Anakin hated seeing others suffer , He was taught to cherish everything he was given , To help others and see the best in everyone around him .

So seeing the suffering lurmen almost physically hurt him as he felt the lurmen wrap its arms around him and rest its head onto his chest .

Anakin ignored everything around him as he focussed on the little thing in his arms , Making sure not to make any erratic movements as it's breathing levelled out , Obviously asleep against his chest as he ran his thumb through its fur .

Qui-gon looked over his shoulder as he looked at Anakin , The robes bulging as he looked at the ape in his cloak .

Chuckling to himself at the love he felt wafting from Anakin , The elder lurmen they were following guided them into a large hut , Anakin slowly entering as the door was shut behind them .

" please take a seat " The elder hobbled as Qui-gon quietly sat down , Anakin distracted as he too sat down , Opening his coat so the small lurmen was visible .

" Poor gettu , The winters haven't been kind to her " The elder looked crest fallen at the small lurmen as it slept in anakin's arms .

" Is something wrong with her " Qui-gon asked as he put a hand to the lurmens head , The lurmen shifting to be closer to Anakin .

" Its knowts " The elder whispered as Anakin looked between the two as Qui-gon looked crest fallen .

" What's knowts " Anakin asked as Qui-gon was unsure of how to explain .

" Knowts ... makes the body weaker and weaker until ... " Qui-gon left it in the air as Anakin looked outright horrified at what he was told looking down at he lurmen as tears ran down his cheeks .

" How long " Qui-gon asked the elder as he refused to meet the Jedi master's eyes .

" A week ... at most " The elder whimpered as the lurmen scrunched up his features and wiped his face .

" But there has to be a way we can help right , Something we can do to save her " Anakin plead as he held the tiny lurmen , Looking to the Jedi master in desperation .

" It's too late young man , All we can do is make her comfortable " The elder whispered as Anakin almost outright refused their words , Wanting to argue into their faces , Wanting the creature to be alright .

" I'll make you feel better , If only for alittle " Anakin whispered as he rubbed his head alongside the lurmens own , Whispering his words of kindness as he kept her warm .

" Can you help us with the harvest , The winter is coming and we're behind schedule" The Edler asked as Qui-gon nodded his head at the request.

" I can help , I also have some droids aboard the ship that can also participate " Qui-gon assured the elderly lurmen .

" What about the boy " The elder asked as Qui-gon shook his head .

" I believe Anakin has some more important matters to attend to " Qui-gon observed Anakin as the boy gazed at the lurmen in his arms .

" I see ... I agree " The elder smiled sadly at the two . The child lurmen opening her eyes to look at Anakin who smiled down to her .

" Hi , My name's Anakin but my friends call me ani , what's yours " Anakin asked the lurmen who looked around in curiosity .

" Gettu " The tiny thing whispered without moving from the warmth .

" We're gonna be great friends " Anakin smiled down at her as the lurmen perked her ears up .

" We are " Almost hopeful as Anakin nodded .

" The best of friends " Anakin promised as the lurmen smiled in embarassment .

The snow began to pick up outside as the sun set , Plunging the village into darkness as the lurmen moved to their homes , Awaiting sunrise to continue the next day .

TATOOINE

HK sat within the bounty hunters bar on the planet , The largest of his massif sat by his feet , The other three were asleep on the ship he had bought with credits from his master .

The ominous red eyes of HK scanned the bar , His hulking form situated in a bar at the back of the cantina .

The Droid feeding the massif a large piece of meat .

" There you are , I've got a new one for you " Shor , The overseer sat down across from the droid , Sliding a puck across the table .

A Holo appeared , A devaronian male appeared on the Holo for one hundred thousand credits .

" He's apart of the slavers of krayn , Kidnapped a politicians daughter , Bring him in , get her back . There are a number of other hunters on this mission as well , They're already ahead of you " Shor informed the droid as HK took the puck , Stood from the table and slid the puck into a satchel on his waist .

" Declaration , I shall return shortly " HK told the overseer before turning , Marching from the cantina with his massif in toe .

Aurra sing watched as HK departed , Still very curious at the droids origins and affiliations , Memories of following the droid flashing in her head as she fumbled the Holo puck she had been given in her hands before following after the droid .

Nearing the outskirts of mos espa , HK stomped through the sand , The massif growling at anyone that came too close .

Ahead was a glint of light , His ship .

Before them was a C-90 corvette , The large ship being acquired by HK through under the table deals with the CEC .

He could see his massif running around the bottom of the ship , Armoured by the droid , The massif now sported grey thick armour plates that guarded their vital points , In built laser turrets on the back of the massif to be used to neutralize targets the dogs were near .

A low whistle from HK caused the dogs to all perk up , Their attention turning to him before they began to sprint in his direction , Saliva dripping from their jaws as they sprinted .

The three soon joined HK and the alpha massif as they circled and yipped happily .

Reaching down as they walked towards the corvette , HK ran a clawed finger across the scales of the nearest massif as he scratched it .

" Come along " HK mumbled lowly as the corvette was now before them , Blocking out the light of the twin suns as he walked up the ramp of the ship , Three of the four massif ascending the ramp while the alpha massif stopped in it's tracks , Sniffing at the air as it turned around and scanned the sands between the ship and mos espa.

The dog squinted as it growled before turning and ascending the ramp . The ramp closing soon after as the engines powered on with a roar .

' That was close ' Aurra breathed out , The warning she had received through the force forcing her to bury herself in the sand within a split second as the alpha had turned in her direction . The warning in it's growls obvious .

' What the hell has he done to those dogs ' Aurra wandered as the CR-90 corvette ascended into the atmosphere .

" See you at the target " Aurra chuckled before turning and making her way to the spaceport .

MYGEETO

The first day on Mygeeto had Qui-gon fixing damages around the village , Clearing heavy snow build ups , Fallen crystals and doing general maintenance to anything in need .

Anakin spent his day with Gettu in the elders hutt , The two of them idly chatting in the warmth as they held a set of cards in their hands .

" I bombed out " Anakin drooped as he let go of his hand , The cards of sabacc sitting in between the two as Gettu cheered , Getting in her feet and flailing her arms around .

" nineteen " she cheered as she collected a handful of crystals they agreed to be their prizes .

Anakin watched Gettu cheer , Holding her crystals high as she jumped around , A small smile playing on his lips as she jumped around happily . He could feel her happiness in waves in his mind , The radiance she released warming him even in the frigid climates outside .

" I'm gonna win those back " Anakin yelled playfully as he began to deal another set for the two to play .

" More like I'll win more " Gettu shook her fists at Anakin as she plopped back down onto the ground , Taking another handful of cards dealt by Anakin , A large smile on her face at the hand she had.

A smile Shon of anakin's face as he slammed down his hand , Beeming at the lurmen .

" Twenty one " Anakin cheered as the lurmen smiled coyly , Reaching forward and grabbing another handful of crystals .

" No way " Anakin crumbled as she placed down her cards , A straight twenty three being seen by the Padawan as he fell on his arse , Drooping as he drew circles in the ground .

The lurmen watched as she giggled , Seeing another loss dampening his spirits , Walking forward , She gave Anakin half the crystals she had , Anakin looking from her to the gems he held in hand before smiling at her .

" Hey , Do you wanna go outside " Anakin asked as the lurmen's eyes lit up , The Padawan standing to his feet , The little lurmen reaching up to him as he knelt down and kicked her up , Wrapping them both in his cloak before opening the door to the establishment , A handful of snow hitting Anakin's face , Making the Padawan sneeze as he shook off the snow , Much to the amusement of the lurmen he carried .

" Come on ani I know a place we can go " The lurmen shifted as she popped her house out of the neck of the cloak , Her head just under anakin's chin as she guided him .

MOENIA , NABOO

Nox walked through the city of moenia , The misty gloom of the swamp surrounded city , Vaylin in toe as they both wore their black cloaks to obscure their identities .

Not wanting Padme and Kanya to know of their presence , Nox and Vaylin avoided city officials throughout the high profile retreat .

They surveyed the architecture of the city , Differing from most of the other cities of naboo .

" This place is weird " Vaylin uttered as she shoved past a young blonde man who tripped to the side .

" Hey " The teen cried as Vaylin and Nox ignored him and continued on , Much to the consternation of the man as he grumbled and rose to his feet .

" I'd be surprised if it wasn't , This is a very important city for naboo , There most important people come here , Artists , Musicians even their politicians come here as a retreat , Some of the universities even train there students here . Not to mention the galactic Moon festival takes place here " Nox informed his high justice as the woman grumbled about the importance of nabooian artists .

" Yes ... also ... Gungan sympathisers gather here in support of then " Nox told the woman as she looked around to spot a group of people spearing a campaign of awareness to the rest of naboo .

" Ignore them , We're heading outside of the city , To a ... vault owned by borvo , Its where he's agreed to meet " Nox instructed .

" Yes my lord " The woman accepted his instructions as they continued on .

Mygeeto

" Slide with me ani " Gettu ran holding onto anakin's arm as she jumped alongside the cheering blonde , sliding down a hill together as they bother giggled .

Qui-gon watched from afar as he held harvested crops in his arms , Moving them to wagons for the townsfolk to move . The two children lost in their own world even in the blistering snow .

" Let's go again " Gettu held her arms out as Anakin swept her up and ran back to the top of the hill , before getting a running jump as they both let out a howl of laugher , Anakin sliding down the hill with the lurmen holding on and using him as a sleigh .

As they came to a stop , The duo went once more , Then twice more after that , All as the elder watching with teary eyes at what they were doing , Greatful towards the boy as many of the other folks watched the duo go at their fun .

Soon enough , The other children throughout the town were joining in , Leaping into the air and sliding down the slope in yells of bliss and howls of laughter .

" Happiness is a precious thing " Qui-gon stated as he came to stand by the elder , The fourth lot of crops done for the day as they watched the events unfold .

" And we're no less thankful for it " The elder turned with Qui-gon to talk " Let's go prepare some food for when they return "

HOURS LATER

Qui-gon , Anakin and geetu along with the elder sat around a table together , Four bowls Infront of them as they ate soup made of the local grown foods .

" How was it today " Anakin asked as geetu looked at the elder and Qui-gon .

" We made good progress in preparation for the winter , By my calculations all repairs and crops should be finished and harvested by the end of the week " Qui-gon stirred his soup as he rested his chin on his hand " And what of you two , What did you get up to today "

With his question , Gettu kit up as she reached into her small clothing , pulling out a handful of crystals and dumping them onto the table .

" Anakin and I played sabacc , I won eight and Anakin won too , uhmm ... then we went outside , It was cold but anakin's cloak kept us warm , I finally got to go down the slide and it was as fun as I imagined " Gettu chatted happily as the elder let a low breath of happiness leave him , Shooting thankful eyes towards the young Padawan who didn't notice , The Padawan adding in information of their day that the lurmen may have missed.

' Such a kind boy ... thank you ' The elder thought as he slurped up a spoonful of his own soup .

Qui-gon looked at Anakin , Feeling the hidden sadness of the boy , Buried under his desire to make Gettu happy .

Keeping quiet , Qui-gon decided to just observe the banter between the three , Humming happily to himself as he finished his food , He began to plan the next days tasks , A mental checklist of what remained being crossed out as he caught anakin's curious gaze .

BORVO'S VAULT - OUTSKIRTS OF MOENIA

Nox , With his hood obscuring all but his chin , Observed what appeared to be bought off naboo security forces in service to the Hutt .

Vaylin's slender arms obscured by the long sleeves of her weapon , Everyone but Nox unaware of her grip on her weapon as just as Nox , Only the bottom of her chin was visible , Unlike Nox , Her molten golden and yellow eyes Shon through the shadows of her cloak , Shaking anyone whom saw her eyes as she scanned them , Pinning them under the hate they carried .

Entering the vault which turned out to be a bunker made from an old N-1 starfighter base , Both the corrupt royal forces and the hutts own forces stood guard as the duo entered the compound .

The walk was short , Through three hallways , But the forces that watched them numbered in the forties , The room they found the meeting taking place .

Borvo lay on a slab placed on the ground by his slaves , The slaves themselves kneeling beside the Hutt as he ate , Glaring at the two meeting him as they stood , Obscured by their cloaks .

" Greetings " Borvo growled out in basic as Nox looked throughout the room for a few moments .

" Say what you really want borvo , I can feel your agitation " A sinister snake like voice resonated from Nox's hood as Borvo sneered .

" Where is my daughter " Borvo growled as he clasped his hands , His muscle tensing as he glared at the what appeared to be human before him .

Pulling out a Holo disk from his robes , The Holo lit up to reveal the tiny huttlet being held by a scion of Zakuul , The mask the man wore obscuring the scions face as the huttlet sat asleep in the man's arms .

" Quoor " Borvo slithered forward urgently as he studied the Holo , Grabbing the disk and bringing it to his face as he looked over his sleeping daughter .

The tiny huttlet opened her eyes , Looking towards the Holo before letting out a squeal as she reached for his blue form .

The scion bringing her close as she too grabbed the disk hovering Infront of her .

" As you can see , She is safe ... for the moment , Should you disappoint me ... he will snap her neck " Nox announced uncarringly as the Hutt borvo soon glared at the Scion holding his daughter with a hateful glare that would out some sith to shame .

" You promised this meeting will be taking place with neutral terms, That my daughter would be here , Yet my daughter is being held hostage , Your promised her safety " Borvo growled as he nearly crushed the Holo disk under his grip .

" I've kept my promise , I can neutralise her at any time , She is here on Holo call , And she is safe rather than floating in the void of space frozen . Don't act so naive my friend , I know you've got men behind those doors behind you ... and what seems to be two very large creatures . So be grateful ... and if you even show a sliver of deceit during this meeting , Your daughter gains express shipping to the afterlife " Nox stated as Borvo shook in anger .

" In going to assume you've considered my request " Nox asked as he stared at the fuming Hutt .

With little to no choice Borvo motioned to be handed a datapad , The Hutt taking it and offering it to Nox .

Simply raising his hand , Borvo became alarmed as the pad left his hands and planted itself firmly in Nox's grip .

Reading over the datapad , It showed a trade agreement between the two factions , Only requiring a signature by Nox himself .

" hmm , I'm going to add to this , If anyone under your employ comes across a suspected Jedi or otherwise artefact it shall be brought to your attention and you will bring it to me , In return ... Taxes for using my territories shall be lowered by ... ten percent " Nox altered the document as he chewed on his thumb , Occasionally changing or rewriting what he was reading.

" Here " Nox tossed the datapad to Borvo who began to read what had been changed .

" What is this trade agreement you've put in here , Why is it blank " Borvo asked as he looked at what was obviously a robed Jedi .

" State what it is you wish to acquire ... And a trade can be made accordingly , Keep in mind that both Jabba and grakkus also agreements with me , Which has been honoured for the last few years " Nox informed the Hutt who sat and thought .

Taking out a second datapad , Borvo went over his current stocks and wares , Eyes carefully scanning over the numbers Infront of him .

" I need weapons , Rifles and blasters , Ornaments and ammunition , I need these for my business as resources have become hard to come by " Borvo asked as Nox motioned for him to continue .

" That can be agreed apon , And what are you offering " Nox asked as Borvo , Despite his anger at the methods of those before him , Used his analytical mind to further his endeavours .

" A cut of the sales of the weapons you provide , Or resources you may require ... use of my lands and facilities ... anything depending on the quality of what you can give me " Borvo offered as Nox nodded at what he was hearing .

" A cease fire agreement , Our forces will not engage each other unless it is to maintain the secrecy of our agreement . I will take a ten percent cut of the weapons sold , That ten percent will be used by you to purchase ores and metals and have them shipped into a mutual space where we trade my weapons for the ores you purchase . Is that acceptable " Nox asked as Borvo input the agreement into the datapad .

" That is acceptable . I will have my men search for artefacts and you will pay for them , Our ceasefire agreement will come into play immediately , When can I expect the first shipment of weapons " Borvo asked as Nox stood silently for several moments before answering .

" Munitions , Ammunitions and ornaments will be provided , Shipped and ready for the hand over within seven days , A unit under my orders will contact you to finalise the trade , Acceptable " Nox asked as Borvo nodded before turning his attention to the Holo of his once more sleeping daughter .

" When will my daughter be returned " Borvo asked as Nox held his hands out , A haze of black mist surrounding his arms , Coalescing into a near solid shape as a low hum registered in the ears of all present as Borvo's daughter disappeared from the Holo .

A squeal announced her arrival as the black and purple coloured Hutt looked around her new location .

Borvo surged forward as Nox held her out to the Hutt , The maternal instincts of the large creature overtaking all sense and worries as he cradled his child .

" Safe as promised " Nox announced as Borvo held his daughter to his chest and regarded Nox in a new light , Less aggressive but more than alittle weary .

" Thank you " Borvo whispered as Nox motioned for Vaylin and himself to depart .

" I look forward to working with you , I shouldn't have to tell me what will happen should you betray me now should I " A sensation came over the necks of all present as they choked , Rising from the floor as they held their necks .

Borvo himself struggled to breath , His daughter looking around in curiosity as she was not being targetted .

Slowly the Hutt nodded , Nox letting go of the telekinetic choke he used , Turning away and departing the bunker without further need for discussion.

" Should we persue and neutralise them master " A twilek asked as he came forward to Borvo , The Hutt shaking his head .

" The deal is a good one , We will honour it " Borvo replied , Deciding to give his attention to the manifestation of his love in his arms , Holding her up as she squealed in happiness .

MYGEETO

The third day of their stay on Mygeeto had Qui-gon departed from the village , Freeing up blocked roads and paths that threatened to seperate the lurmen from other villages .

Anakin naturally stayed behind with Gettu as they explored the snow capped lands around the village , Cheering and giggling as they made faces in their reflections of a massive crystal with a reflective surface .

Pulling the sides of his mouth with his fingers , Anakin stuck his tongue out as gettu gave herself a pigs nose , Making weird noises as she bounced around .

The two soon began to dance and hobble around , The surface of the mirror making them look stretched and plump as they danced .

" Look ani I'm as tall as you " Gettu cheered as the mirror stretched her .

" I'm so small and fat " Anakin pouted as he looked tiny in his own reflection .

" Don't worry ani , With some growth and exercise you'll be fit in no time " Gettu giggled as she jumped to his shoulders " Oh no we're small and fat together "

Eyes widening in recognition , Gettu perked up and looked around before leaping onto the ground and grabbing Anakin by his hand .

" ani there's something I want to show you " Gettu once more guided the boy through the snow .

Eventually they came to a small cove made of crystal , The lurmen running in as Anakin crouched down .

The female lurmen layed on her back as Anakin joined , Looking up through the crystal roof , Glistening formations in the crystal making it look surreal .

" Ive never seen the stars , Or another planet , I hear they're so different , Like green , Blue and purple , I want see what they look like from above ... Anakin what do they look like " The lurmen asked Anakin as she looked at him with her wide eyes .

" Very round , Uhhmmm ... Some a covered in snow , like yours , Others have huge oceans that cover the world , Storms that strike the lands and deserts that are so dry you wouldn't want to be caught without a drink . Then there's big world's made of cities and planets that have nothing at all . They're all so different " Anakin told the lurmen who listened to everything his said with rapt attention .

" Do you think I'll ever get to see one " Gettu asked as she slowly turned her attention back to the roof of the formation .

" I think you'll get to see one " Anakin confirmed as the lurmen smiled gently .

" I hope so , Just one ... that'll be good enough for me " Gettu whispered as she shuffled close to Anakin and slowly fell asleep as he gazed at the roof .

" Just one huh " Anakin thought out loud , Raising his hand to the room above them .

Tatooine , Palace of Jabba

Nox , Sitting across from Jabba with the table from earlier still in place .

" My friend , Where is your lady " Jabba asked as he ate on the opposite side of the table .

" She's coming " Nox replied , Indeed after departing Borvo's bunker , He had simply instructed Vaylin to meet him on Tatooine and teleported to the sand covered planet within the next moment .

Bounty hunters walked around the room or leant against the wall , Steering away from the Sith Lord and jabba as they ate .

" I must admit , This is some good food you've put together here Jabba " Nox complimented as Jabba chuckled , Taking a bird like creatures meat from the table and downing it in one go .

Nox looked over the scars littering the Hutt , The burns and gashes from himself when he visited the Hutt long ago .

" Thank you , I got the most tasteful delicacies I could get my hands on , It's good to have you you present for one of our trades " Jabba managed to smile through his food .

Nox smiled as he took a drink of algarine , Relishing the taste before placing the cup down .

" Yes , I'm curious about this ... rumour you have to tell me , I thought it be better I be present for it " Nox told the Hutt who chuckled and agreed .

" But first " Nox snapped his fingers as a platoon of skytroopers walked in carrying three canisters , Marching down the stairs .

" The isotopes you requested " Nox motioned to the droids as the gently placed down the canisters next to the table , Nox stood up , Twisting the handle of the nearest canister as the top slid open with a hiss . Eight vials sat comfortably attached to the inner shaft of the canister , Drawing power to stabilise what was within .

" They'll fetch you a good price on the black market ... or a lethal weapon on your enemies should you wish to release it " Nox hinted as he closed the canister , Dismissing the droids as Jabba's men hurried forward and moved to store the canisters and thus the isotopes in a safe environment " I wouldn't drop that in the palace if I were you ... or even mos espa , Big boom you know "

" A shuttle will be dropping off your resources , It will be arriving to your hanger within the hour ... Now what is it you wished to tell me " Nox sat back down and finished his algarine .

Jabba brought out a glowing green husk like material , Holding it out for Nox to hold .

" Some of my little spies have noted the witness of dathomir growing in their activities as of late , A raid of there's left this and a rumour they had uncovered something they call a gate , ancient beyond belief apparently " The Hutt informed the Sith as Nox studied the glowing husk feeling it through the force , Curious as to its purpose .

" I'll admit your peaked my curiosity , I appreciate your efforts of bringing this to me " Nox told the Hutt that nodded in turn .

" It is of no issue , What are partners meant for Afterall " Jabba held his drink to Nox in cheers before downing it .

" Indeed , Now I'm afraid I must depart , My partner has arrived , May we use the dunes to the north without being disturbed " Nox asked the Hutt whom nodded in turn .

" Of course , I'll have all traffic from there diverted at once " Jabba assured as Nox turned and ascended the stairs to leave the palace .

" Do as I said , also bring me a security droid , I want to see what they're doing " Jabba requested , He may serve Nox , Be afraid of the man , But fear didn't equal trust .

" At once your grace "

Nox stood at the entrance of the palace , A gamorian guard watching as the X-70 decloaked a few hundred feet away , Vaylin leaping from the open ramp , Slamming into the ground in a churning dust cloud while Nox approached .

" You seem annoyed , Care for a spar " Nox asked Vaylin as she scowled , Having had to deal with some rather annoying individuals over Holo call in the conference room , A political party had tried to turn radical and been neutralised by the knights of Zakuul , She had to pass judgement as was her position and readily handed the leaders their death sentences while having the others either imprisoned or community service .

" Yes ... please " Vaylin sighed as Nox leapt into the air , Disappearing into the sky as he ascended with his leap , Vaylin soon following after in a sprint that left a trail of dust and sand .

Slamming into the dunes of Tatooine , The palace of Jabba far off , Nox decided this was clear enough from any nearby lifeforms for them to spar .

Vaylin was soon to arrive , A rising dust storm announcing her arrival as her form was a blur , The woman leapt up slightly before slamming her feet into he dunes to halt her sprint .

The woman slid across the sands as she carved a trench through the sand , And as she stopped , The storm she had made in her wake did not , Blowing past her as the storm continued on without care .

Her hair flew by her head as sand pecked at her skin , An annoyed growl escaping her before she let out a repulse , Completely parting the sand around her , Revealing the rocks below before the dunes quickly covered the exposed stone .

Nox chuckled at the look on Vaylin's face as she approached before they began to circled each other , Treading sand underfoot as Vaylin slid her hand under her cloak before shrugging it from her shoulders , Landing in the sand with a small plat .

Nox himself grabbed the hem of his cloak before tearing it from his form , Revealing his cultist armour underneath , The only thing missing was his helmet which was aboard the X-70 B currently landing itself at the Skywalker homestead .

Fumbling her lightsaber in her grip , The weapons activation signalled by a snap hiss of the hilt , The yellow blade springing to life violently .

Nox himself unclipped his own lightsaber , Examining it for a small moment before activating the blade , Vaylin stopped momentarily as she studied her lords new weapon , Feeling it's increased presence , The Darkside crawling from the weapon in whispers , Drawing her in as it fed off of her force presence .

It took her unfathomable will to tear her gaze from the new design as she looked at Nox .

" You made a new one ... a better one " Vaylin announced unsure as she resumed circling .

" My old one was dated , It needed a redesign and alterations , Care to test them with me " Nox activated the weapon , The screech of the blade freezing Vaylin as a haze assaulted her mind , The occasional red flashes of lightning within the purple shroud arcing from the shroud and into the surrounding environment as the lightning singed the air .

" You're not doing that ... are you , It's the weapon " Vaylin asked as she looked at the lightning emitting from the weapon .

" I'm not , It's a bi-product of the second crystal , But also useful in it's own right " Nox hefted his weapon, Done with their banter as he threw the weapon at the woman across from him .

Vaylin leapt to the side , Feeling a burning on her left arm as an arc of red lightning sprung from the blade and singed the sleeve of her shirt .

Ignoring the pain , Vaylin surged forward as Nox was now unhanded for the moment rearing her lightsaber back before making a vertical swipe at his chest .

Side stepping her attack , Nox's lightsaber landed in his outstretched hand , Rotating his wrist to the left as he left a small stinging gash on her cheek .

Vaylin held her hand to her cheek as she leapt away , A small glow escaping her fingers as the cut healed , But the ease at which he had penetrated her guard alarmed her .

" Are you ready to take this seriously " Nox admonished as she raised her eyes to meet his own .

A small nod was all she answered with as she brought her lightsaber up and held it to her right side , Taking an offensive stance as purple blueish lightning surged along her arms .

A torrent of lightning lurched from her fingers , Arcing towards the opponent of hers , Burning through the air and turning parts of the sand below to glass before striking the waiting blade of Nox's lightsaber .

Moving the blade away from his body , Vaylin's lightning following the blade , Naturally attracted to the weapon .

" You're getting stronger Vaylin much stronger " Nox complimented as a shade appeared beside him , Looking exactly like its creator before it leapt to action .

Believing the shade to be a simply illusion , Vaylin ignored the shade as it neared , The only things warning her of her near fatal mistake was the warning through the force , Leaping into the air and out of the shades reach as it managed to swipe at her leg with its lightsaber .

Landing with a couple of hops , Vaylin looked at her leg in both shock horror and worry .

The fabric of her leggings had been seared off , A gash in her leg still bubbling in pain .

" H... how " Vaylin asked as she began to heal the damage done as Nox came to a stand still next to his shade .

" It a manifestation of Darkside energy , Created by my will and controlled by me , Did you believe it wouldn't be able to harm you " Nox raised an eyebrow as the shade remained silent by his side .

A tsk relayed how foolish Vaylin thought herself to be , The knowledge Nox held made him an unparalleled danger to any enemy , Being able to create a manifestation of himself with the darkside was easily within his abilities form what she had seen .

With the damage healed , Vaylin rose from her position and took her form IV opening stance once more .

Nox in turn simply willed the shade forward , The shade silently leaning forward before speeding forward , Low to the ground , A determined glint in it's eye .

As the shade neared , Vaylin knew Nox was evaluating her , For what she had no idea , But she had no intention of disappointing him .

And so , Performing a Jung Ma , The momentum she had built during the spin, slashed at the chest of the shade as the shade itself leapt over the strike with a Sai .

Leaping over Vaylin , The shade reversed his grip , Making a backhanded stab at Vaylin stomach to which she evaded by stepping to the side , Performing a shiim to the side of the shades jaw , The minute scar appearing on its face serving to give her a small bout of satisfaction .

The responded by making a horizontal slash at her head to which she leant back to avoid , the shade continuing on and performing a spin with the following momentum , Attempting a slash at her stomach and legs in succession .

Vaylin blocked the slash at her stomach before angling her weapon down , Her opponents weapons slashing off the blade as the shade retracted it's blade .

Using the flowing water cut technique taught to her by Nox to follow the shades retracting lightsaber , Pushing the shades own weapon into itself .

She shade showed no reaction at being impaled by a piece of itself before it stepped back from its own weapon , Aiming the weapon at Vaylin's stomach , Pointed up thirty degrees in an attempt to skewer her .

The next series of strikes and slashes occured quickly after , Vaylin leaping over her opponent in flips and Slashing downward , Surrounding the shade on all sides as she used her agility to her advantage .

Nox watched the battle with a sense of pride , Vaylin may not have been able to realise it , But she and the shade were blurs to anyone around them .

Their movements so fast one could not track unless you were experienced yourself .

The strikes of their weapons rocked the dunes , Causing sand to fall and slide down .

The two began to speed around the dunes , Leaving trails of thrown sand in their wake , Clashing weapons when they slammed into each other in the middle before seperating , Speeding away from each other once more before circling and slamming together in a atmosphere shaking boom .

Nox watched as Vaylin took a note from his book , Incorporating it into her unorthodox lightsaber techniques as she grabbed the shades arm , Pulling it forward as she twisted and slammed her elbow into the shades head , Snapping its head back before slamming her palm into the joint of the shades arm , Pivoting it's weapon and impaling its head on its own weapon .

Nox chuckled as he decided he did enough watching , dispelling the shade , The explosion of Darkside energy sending Vaylin hurling backwards as the energy cycled back into Nox himself .

Igniting his weapon with the unholy screech accompanied by it , Nox surged forward , Lightsaber carving through the dunes as he held low , His lightsaber piercing the ground violently as Vaylin picked herself up from the ground .

Vaylin had half a second to react as Nox all but materialised Infront of her , The split second warning from her precognition forcing her to duck to the side of what would have been a decapitating slice .

The gale force winds that slammed into her right after , The bi-product of Nox's speed , Slamming her to the side as Nox raised his weapon , Facing it straight down as he made to impale her on its black blade .

Vaylin urgently tossed herself to the side once again as the speed of the stab nearly caught her , They repeated this thrice more , Vaylin however wasn't unharmed in her evasions , As everytime the blade would plunge into the sands , A fork of the blades naturally produced red lighting would fly from the shroud of the weapon and strike out at her .

Singeing her flesh in the process as she parted her legs to avoid another plunge , Her desperation began to mount as she noted Nox's stabs and speed increasing .

Raising her hand , Vaylin blasted at Nox with her lightning , The Sith responding by simply back handing her lightning to the side , Vaylin in her split second escape , Leapt to her feet and away from Nox , Her weapon igniting in her hand as in not a second later , Nox had required his target and made to slice her in half as she landed .

Vaylin rose her weapon , Blocking the slash before increasing her own speeds as she circled Nox .

Getting behind Nox , Especially with him being aware of her location , proved to be a learning experience as she was on the receiving end of a mule kick from hell that folded her like a deck chair , Cracking heard out loud as it scrambled her insides , A hack and cough of blood escaping her before propelling her into the dunes far off where she slammed into the far away boulder , Bending backward over it's surface before simply sliding down the side .

Gushing up blood as she hacked and heaved , a pool forming below of her precious life fluid , She quickly made use of a multitude of healing techniques she knew to ensure her own survival , The agony of her abdomen burning into the deepest parts of her psych .

With the last of the internal bleeding fixed , Vaylin excreted the remainder of the blood from her innards through her mouth .

Wiping what little spittle she had on her lips with the back of her hand , The stinging sensation in her abdomen persisted as she noticed her lightsaber by her side .

She slowly reached out to pick it up , Her slender fingers curling around the hilt before she slowly made her way to her feet .

Harnessing the force to bolster her , Vaylin looked around , The palace of Jabba now further away than before .

' How far did he kick me ' Vaylin thought as she rubbed her stomach , Squinting to see if Nox was approaching .

The answer to her to her question came when she witnessed a bolt of lightning ascending into the sky in the distance .

' Shit ' Vaylin thought as she leapt high into the air and away from where the presumed impact zone would be , Witnessing few precious moments later as the bolt struck , Pulverizing the ground as it struck , Scattering the sands to the skies as it left a glass crater in its wake .

' Do not want to be hit by that ' Vaylin thought as she landed , The burning of ozone hitting her nose before a low buzzing filled the air .

Leaping away once more , With a second blast descending from the heavens to slam into the ground .

Vaylin landed , Her precognition saving her once more a second before she would have died , Manipulated the sands around her to form a shield overhead as high from her as possible .

The sand overhead exploded violently as she used the precious seconds earned to erect a proper force shield , Her hands spread away from her on opposite sides as a whirling shield of purple mist condensed around her in a dome .

Four more bursts of lightning descended from the sky in rapid succession , Grating at her willpower as she shook under each strike .

She barely noticed the origins of the bolts coming nearer , Watching from the corner of her eye as they ascended from two dunes over .

She refused to relent however , Her head pounding as her nose bled , Her brain hemorrhaging within her head as her mental strain rose with each strike against her shield , Now an endless stream of Cratering lightning from the heavens .

The flashes of lightning against her shield scarred her retina , The woman closing her eyes as each flash Shon through her eyelids .

Ringing in hear eyes soon grew in intensity as her senses began to dull , Her stubborn refusal to drop her shield being her only saving grace .

Nox stepped over the final dune seperating them , Staring out at the scene he stumbled apon with a small chuckle ripping from within.

Vaylin stood , Surrounded by her purple shield , Her eyes crunched shut as blood slid down her nose , Passing over her lips and chin to hit the ground below .

Her hair lay flat , Drenched in sweat as it stuck to her skin , Her clothing was partially scorched and still sizzled as she wore it .

Her breathing rugged and quick , Surrounding her , Just outside the shield was a massive smouldering crater , Black in colour and reflective as the majority of the sand had been turned to glass .

A crunch of glass underfoot signified his walk forward as did the second and third after that .

Vaylin showed no signs of acknowledging his approach , Still fueling the shield around her as she kept her eyes closed .

His lightsaber clipped to his belt , Nox , With a final crunch stood before the shield , Reaching out with a curled pointer finger .

A simple flick of his finger was all it took , The shield rattling violently as Vaylin finally gave in , Her hands slowly falling to her sides as the shield dissipated .

Falling like a puppet with its strings cut as she collapsed into a heap on the floor .

Nox slowly got down on one knee , Raking a hand through her hair pooled around her on the ground , Stroking her head with one hand as she slowly opened her eyes , A wheeze escaping from her as she tried to breath .

" You did good " Nox soothed the woman as he began to heal the damages she had sustained .

A small , appreciative smile came over her face as she began to droop .

Shmi stared at the X-70 planted directly next to the homestead with a sense of dread , Even whilst the ship was empty she had only half a guess of who it belonged to , And that meant he was nearby ... and coming to get it shortly .

She ran around , Alongside the panicking maids and house staff as she cleaned , Wanting the man she owed her freedom too , Both cliegg and Lars looked around in confusion as everyone ran around panicked .

Maids passed by carrying plates and anything that didn't have a place to be was hidden and stored .

kitchen staff urgently prepared something whilst the knights checked their armours and stood tall and proud , Wanting to both impress their incoming emperor and show they valued their places .

Even the skytroopers moved with a sense of urgency in their steps .

" Love what's going on " Cliegg asked as he walked up to Shmi , Noticing her persperation as she cleaned a side table .

" He's ... he's coming Lars , He's on his way " Shmi stuttered as she rubbed the cloth against the table harder .

" Who's coming " Cliegg asked as a troop of skytroopers shouldered past him , Earning a yell of indignation from the man .

" HIM CLIEGG " Shmi bellowed as she began to rush to something else to inspect .

" Oh " Cliegg stopped as he bit the insides of his lips , slowly turning to Owen whom looked confused " I ... think it would be good if we got into something nice "

Owen nodded his head and rushed to his room while Cliegg slowly approached the beginning to panic Shmi .

" It's okay hun, The maids have it sorted , If they don't know how he likes anything than what are they for " Cliegg soothed as he embraced the woman breaking down .

" I ... I'm going to ask him Owen " Shmi told her lover as the man came up short before a small smile come onto his face .

Shmi , As Greatful as she was to Obrunik , Couldn't help but think everything he showered her with was too much , A home of such proportions made her uncomfortable , People catering to her every desire made her uneasy .

Cliegg and Owen were farmers through and through , Generations of their family worked to provide water to the citizens of Tatooine , It was their purpose .

And she herself wanted something more , Something her and Cliegg to maintain together , So today ... with the emperor's approach she was going to ask , Ask to stand on her own two feet as her own woman .

Owen looked over himself in the mirror , A tick developing on his brow at the clothing the maids had provided for him long ago .

His arrival was announced with a shockwave boom from the sky before he slammed down onto the ground beside the house .

Shmi freezing , Dusting off her clothing before fixing her appearance .

Cliegg too did as Shmi did , Fixing his hair and checking his wraps while Owen stood beside him .

The trip stood behind the front door as maids opened the door and rushed to cater to their emperor .

" I don't need your services " The voice of an annoyed woman sounding through the doorways , The knights within shaking for a moment as they heard the voice before standing even straighter .

" Your majesty is there anything we can help you with " The lead maid announced as the trio stood taller .

" That will not be necessary , All of you just continue on with your duties " A male voice ordered just outside the front door before the door slid open .

The maids rushed by at their lords orders while two remained .

The first they took notice of was the smaller of the two , Closer to them as she turned to face them , Wearing a grey cloak with golden embroidering .

Her soft features belied the danger instinctively screaming within the trios heads .

She turned her head to face them with a glare , Yellow eyes pinning them to the spot as she stared . Mascara under her eyes as it enhanced her features , Her brown hair parted down the middle to frame her face . The obviously expensive jewels on her head Shon in the light while her rounded chin tensed .

She would have been the most beautiful thing Owen had ever seen if her gaze didn't terrify him on a level he had never felt .

Her clothing showed signs of burns , Skin showing on her arms and legs of what appeared to be tears in the fabric of her clothing .

If the woman was terrifying , Than the man Owen turned to made her look like a pup , It wasn't something that he looked like .

For he was what he envied to be , Black hair swept back , Wise glowing blue eyes that scanned over them with a kind look .

Taunt cheeks and a strong angular jawline and the perfect structure for a nose , No bump nor droop , Just ... perfect .

It wasn't the armour he wore , Black in colour , Chest plate reflecting the sunlight , The suit underneath the chest plate of exquisite design covered the man's abdomen as a fauld hid his legs , Only black boots visible from the bottom .

It was non of these that terrified Owen and Cliegg , it was instinct . Growing up and living on Tatooine gave you a sense , With all the horrible people walking around , You'd get a sense of who to approach and who to avoid like the plague .

The aura the man released fell into the later category , If not outright gave it new definition .

" Hello Shmi " The man smiled as he approached , Giving a quick hug to the woman who accepted it eagerly .

Vaylin glared at the woman with barely concealed hatred while Nox turned to Cliegg and Owen , Stretching a hand for the father to take .

" And you must be the lucky man I've heard so much about , My name is Obrunik kallig , It's a pleasure " Nox held out his hand which Cliegg nervously took , The kind look on Nox's face never leaving .

" Cliegg Lars , I've heard alot about you " Cliegg reciprocated as Nox turned his attention to Owen .

" And you young man must be Owen , I'm glad to make your acquaintance " Owen shook Nox's hand after as the emperor turned to Vaylin .

" And this is high justice Vaylin , My consort " Nox introduced as Vaylin's features softened as she gazed at him .

" It is our pleasure " The trio bowed , Finding it odd when Vaylin gave no response .

" Please forgive her , She isn't a people person ,Her job requires the upmost seriousness and it takes a toll , She doesn't take to greeting well " Nox covered as he rubbed vaylin's arm gently .

" It is no issue I promise " Shmi accepted with a smile , Hiding the insecurity she felt being near the obviously dangerous woman .

" Would you all like to share a meal " Nox deviated the conversation , The trio looked amoungst themselves before nodding .

" We'd love to my lord " Shmi said as Nox smiled down at her , The group moving from the entrance to the main room together .

AEOS PRIME

Vas'lucis sat at the entrance of the cave , Sifo Dyas standing next to him as they looked down at the city below .

" Master ... you never told me how you came to be here " Vas'lucis asked as he turned to the Jedi master .

" I ... I am plagued by visions of the future , Shadows that will plague the galaxy for years , Trillions of lives taken . I tried to warn the rest of the Jedi , To take action to fight against this oppressing and dark future . But I fear my actions of late may have had the opposite effect. I was meant to board a ship to oba dia , but I received a warning from the force and arranged alternate transport last second without anybody knowing . That shuttle was fired apon by a cartel , I knew then and there that I had been found out , So I bled into the shadows as the force requested ... and it guided me here ... to you " Sifo revealed as he sat back against the inside of the cave . The cave now instead of being just a regular cave now having been remade into an actual home for the two , With the large cavern now housing proper equipment and facilities , Walls being built for privacy and to build two rooms for the two , Their things placed inside their own quarters as they were sure they would be staying within the cave for a while , As Sifo said , To stay low for the foreseeable future .

" You believe you would be dead if you boarded that shuttle " Vas'lucis asked as Sifo nodded in affirmation .

" I have no doubt in my mind that I would be " Sifo confirmed before Vas'lucis rose from his sitting positions .

" Then I'm glad you're not ... master " Vas held his hand out for his master to take , The human smiling warmly up to his Padawan before accepting the hand offered and standing to his feet .

" Shall we continue with your lessons " Sifo asked as he pat the teen on the shoulders .

" I see no reason not too " Vas'lucis smiled up at the man as they walked deeper into their shared home .

TATOOINE

The meal they had shared had been a pleasant affair , They are quietly , The kitchen staff watching nervously as they awaited their lord verdict .

They had been happy to receive his praises after he had finished , The cheers and yells of happiness that followed greatly amusing him .

But now it was almost time to depart , With Vaylin already onboard the X-70 to avoid the Lars family .

It was obvious Shmi had a question for him , So he looked towards her at her approach .

" What's on your mind Shmi " Nox turned to the woman whom held her hands nervously .

" I want to ask for permission, And your forgiveness " Shmi asked as she shifted under his inquisitive gaze.

" You'll have to clarify , What for " Nox asked as the woman looked down .

" I wish to be selfish . I appreciate everything you've done for me . But I wish to persue a like with Cliegg , Ani is gone , Safe with the Jedi and under your watchful eye , I've kept your ... our secret as you asked . Please , Allow me this small selfish request " Shmi announced , Tears streaming down her cheeks as she asked .

" Jeez " Nox chuckled as he turned to the woman and placed his hands on her shoulders , Using his right arm to lift her chin to look him in the eyes .

" Shmi , You're a strong , Valiant woman with the heart of gold . Cliegg is lucky to have your love . You need not ask me for permission , I shall provide whatever it is you need . You wish to move , With Cliegg do you not " Nox asked as Shmi nodded slowly .

" Then simply say where you wish , You will be given the land you seek , and then it is yours , No more maids , No more security , Just you , Cliegg and Owen . Should you require it , You need only come by to this estate and seek help , And all shall be provided " Nox placed a kiss on her forehead as she radiated gratitude .

" Thank you " Shmi cried as she embraced Nox , The man chuckling as he pat her back .

" It is quite alright lady Lars , You have my blessing , Now stand tall in the face of your problems , Keep you chin up , As the woman you've always wished to be " Nox instructed his final order as shmi wiped her face , Sniffles escaping her as she did what was asked .

" It's been a pleasure " Nox embraced her once more before turning away " You know how to reach me should you wish to "

" Farewell love " Shmi smirked at the inside joke as Nox chuckled , The door opening as he stepped towards it , Walking forward towards the X-70 ahead as Shmi watched him depart .

" Did it go well " Cliegg asked as he came up behind his lover , Embracing her in a loving hug from behind .

" It went just fine , Pack your things love " Shmi turned as she locked lips with the soon to be farmer once more .

" That was ... unbearable " Vaylin gagged as she sat in the co-pilots chair , Nox planting himself in his captain's seat as the ship began to rise from the ground .

" It may have been , But it is what they needed , And I owed them " Nox chuckled as Vaylin let out a gag , Letting her displeasure known before sitting back and stretching .

" Where to now " Vaylin asked as she shimmied deeper into her seat .

" Dathomir " Nox replied as Vaylin suddenly turned to face him .

" You wish to see dathomir now , Why " Vaylin asked as Nox brought out the glowing green husk .

" I owe a certain night mother a visit " Nox stated as the ship left the atmosphere of Tatooine before jumping into hyperspace .

4 DAYS LATER - MYGEETO

Qui-gon knew Anakin was depressed , Expertly hiding it , especially his fear as he asked his Jedi master a favour .

" Master ... can we go up to see the stars for abit " The look on anakin's face made Qui-gon fault , the answer wouldn't be a no ... It couldn't be .

" Sure just give me a moment " Qui-gon stated as Anakin hurried off .

' So it's happening is it ' Qui-gon mumbled as he looked down sadly .

Turning to the elder Qui-gon regarded him for a moment .

" I'll return shortly " Qui-gon told the elder whom nodded slowly .

" Please take your time " Qui-gon departed the crops as he followed after anakin's B-line towards their ship .

Anakin settled himself down into his seat on the bridge , Gettu on his lap as she looked around in awe of what was before her , Her finger sliding over the dash making sure she didn't accidentally press something .

" It's so shiny in here " Gettu uttered as footfalls were heard behind them .

" Sorry for taking so long " Qui-gon smiled as he sat in the pilots seat , Immediately starting the ship up as the hum of the engines was heard in the background .

" What's going on " Gettu asked as Anakin simply smiled down at her .

" Brace " Anakin whispered as the ship lurched , Ascending into the sky as the lurmen was floored .

Clutching at Anakin , Ears pressing against her head , The lurmen looked out the viewport as clouds passed by .

Excitement soon taking over as she excitedly bounced in place .

She ignored the feeling coming over her , Choosing to focus on the most exciting this to happen in the best thing of her life , Enjoying the moment with her bestest friend .

She basked in the sunlight that hit her as they entered the upper atmosphere , Breaking through the snowfalls as the blue cleared to black with twinkling stars .

The squeal of delight from the lurmen made giggle as she jumped up and down , Looking left and right as she jumped up and pressed her face against the glass .

" There's sooooo much " Gettu cheered before facing Anakin and leaping to him .

Out of breath as she sat against him , A happy smile coming to her features .

Qui-gon piloted the ship , Turning to to face Mygeeto .

" Little lady , There's a treat for you to see " Qui-gon smiled down the the lurmen as she turned her attention back to the viewport , Eyes widening as she took all of her homes features in , Committing them to memory .

" It's beautiful " Gettu looked out towards her planet from the safe embrace of anakin's arms , Looking over the vast blue and white that made up her home .

" One of the most beautiful out there " Anakin whispered as the lurmen slowly leant back into Anakin , turning and snuggling into the Jedi youngling with a small smile on her face , Eyes still open as she looked out of the window .

" I enjoyed these past few days ani ... thank you " Gettu whispered as she nuzzled into anakin's chest , Looking at the planet mygeeto down below as she closed her eyes , Slowly going slack in the boys arms .

" So did I " Anakin whispered as he slowly looked down , A small smile appearing on the lurmens face as all fight left her tiny body .

" Gettu ... Gettu " Anakin gently rocked the lurmen only to receive no response .

Qui-gon closed his eyes as Anakin became more and more distraught , Realisation coming over the boy as he held the lurmen close , Nursery rhymes escaping his lips as he whispered to the silent child .

They stayed like that , Anakin's tears flowing freely as he mourned . Qui-gon offered his sympathies .

The connection Anakin craved had been stated by Gettu , And he loved it , He loved her fiercly as only a child could .The devastation he could feel from Anakin saddened him greatly , Kanya's past warnings as true as ever . The affection he received from Gettu , Was what he wished he received from the others in the temple , so inturn he gave her the affection he was capable of giving out .

Qui-gon knew what it was like to lose someone your cherish , So he reached over and placed a comforting hand on his Padawan's shoulder , A warm but teary smile on his face .

" They'll want to see her too " Qui-gon whispered as Anakin sobbed but nodded regardless .

With that said Qui-gon piloted the ship back down into the atmosphere of the planet , Ready to deliver the news to the rest of the tribe , They had a funeral to prepare for .

DATHOMIR

The X-70 B dropped out of hyperspace with a low boom , Nox looked at the red dyed planet with a mirthful smile .

" So this is the fabled red planet of the witches " Vaylin squinted as she crossed her arms " I'm not impressed "

" We'll have to see " Nox looked at the husk as it lit up slightly before smirking as he faced the planet .

' Can you feel me talzin , Do you know I'm here ' Nox thought as he thought about the night mother whom had attempted to attack him through the force long ago , Eagerly hurtling the ship through space towards the planet .

Their confrontation a front .

NOX IS USING BOTH A SITH SORCERY ALTERED QIXONI CRYSTAL AND A KAIBURR CRYSTAL SHARD IN HIS REMADE LIGHTSABER AS THE MAIN CRYSTAL AND FOCUS RESPECTIVELY .

THE KAIBURR CRYSTAL , AS STATED IN THIS CHAPTER WAS CREATED AND USED BY TYPHOJEM TO ENHANCE HIS POWER , AFTER HIS DEFEAT IT FELL TO A PLANET AMD DISAPPEARED FROM HISTORY FOR AN UNKNOWN AMOUNT OF TIME BEFORE IT WAS FOUND .

THE POWER ENHANCING ABILITIES WORKED REGARDLESS OF YOUR ALIGNMENT , GIFTING LIGHTSIDE USERS AND DARKSIDE USERS FURTHER STRENGTH IN EITHER AND ABILITIES THEY WOULD FIND DIFFICULT TO USE OTHERWISE . LIKE A LIGHTSIDERS ABILITY TO HEAL INCREASING EXPONENTIALLY OR A DARKSIDERS HANDICAP STOPPING HIM FROM USING FORCE LIGHTNING , THE CRYSTAL GIFTING HIM THE ABILITY TO USE SAID LIGHTNING WITHOUT HARM .

IT WAS LOCATED ON CIRCARPOIS V ALSO KNOWN AS MIMBAN , A TEMPLE BUILT AROUND , IT WAS FOUND THAT MOVING THE CRYSTAL FROM THE TEMPLE WOULD WEAKEN THE CRYSTAL EXPONENTIALLY THE FURTHER YOU MOVED , AND LEAVING MIMBAN WOULD REMOVE ITS ABILITIES ENTIRELY MAKING IT COMPLETELY USELESS .

SHARDS COULD BE CUT FROM THE LARGER CRYSTAL AND USED AS LIGHTSABER CRYSTALS , BEING RARE AND REGARDED AS THE MOST POWERFUL LIGHTSABER CRYSTAL SOMEONE COULD POSSES .
