First dungeon Expedition

As the sun rose, I decided to rest most of the day for the busy night i couldnt sleep due to anticipation. At some point in the morning, Julian left, and so it was just me and Wiggly for the day. "Hey, Nux, wake the heck up. It's time for us to head out." Julian says while throwing a pillow at me. We head out and meet with the group.

"So how am I going to get past the security?" I ponder.

"Oh, that's not hard. There's usually only ever two people on duty overnight, so we will just distract them while giving them our paperwork, and you can hop right into the Portal. We'll be right behind you." Trex explains we headed out it wasn't difficult sneaking behind the guards and getting into the portal while Julian and the others talked to them.

Wow, it's so bright and beautiful," I exclaimed when I came through the portal.

"Yeah, it sure is. Even though it was nighttime in our world, these portals lead to random places at different times. It could be night and day or even something else you never know. That's why hunters need to be ready, as these portals could lead to very different environments I heard one of the S-rank dungeons was a world filled with acid." Julian told me and so. We then went ahead, exploring the dungeon.

"So, what exactly do we do here? We are supposed to close the portal, correct?" I ask.

"You can either kill all creatures inside or defeat the boss to exit the dungeon. There is also a rare event that occurs, which upon completion, teleports you out of the dungeon.

An example would be a castle siege in which you have to defeat the opposing army if we don't manage to kill all enemies they will escape the dungeon after a week of a dungeon appearing it causes a monster outbreak in which all the creatures are forced out which is why we enter so that does not happen." Frank explained as we continued exploring. We see a group of goblins.

"That's our target. It seems this is a goblin dungeon makes sense since this is a D-rank dungeons Nux, you stay back and watch while we hunt this group. Piro, you know to stay to the side to heal anyone if there hurt." Julian announced then Frank goes ahead and yells to attract the goblins Julian pulls out two daggers and starts slicing up goblins while Frank took on their attacks and Trex conjured some fire balls with a staff shooting them at the goblins. The goblins where swiftly taken out.

"You all make a great team." I tell them.

"Well we've been a group for around four years now that's why where a C-rank hunting squad." Julian replied

"Does that mean you can hunt up to C-rank dungeons?" I asked Julian

"Nope we can only hunt up to D-rank dungeons unless we have a temporary conjoined squad they always make your squad fight dungeons a rank or more below yours now that's enough talk since the dungeon hasn't closed that means there's more groups to take on." Julian then starts looking for more goblins. "Halt this is probably the rest of them as we've hit most of the boarders in the dungeon it seems there are eight goblins and a hobgoblin not to mention the two archers in on those towers over there Trex you'll need to take care of the archers while Frank takes the hobgoblin for a minute while he's distracting the hobgoblin I'll fight the eight goblins surrounding the area Piro will stay back to heal us. Hey Nux, do you know how to fight at all? If so can you just take care of two goblins for me so frank isn't tanking the hobgoblin too long. Julian asked me.

"Fighting is new to me, but with my regeneration, it shouldn't be too hard, even if I'm unarmed." As the battle commenced Frank yelled yowards the hobgoblins and started to tank on his attack. While Trex went ahead shooting spears made of water at the goblin archers. I was getting hit a lot by the goblins however, as long as they could get close enough, that meant I could break their necks as I fought those two Julian took on the others and then rushed to help Frank and kill the hobgoblin. Afterwards, Piro was healing Frank's injuries as he took on many of the boss's attacks. I looked around and saw a new portal.

"We'll escape through the portal, and the dungeon will disappear. Sneak out while we distract the guards. The team will visit me tomorrow to talk to you more. Meet me back at my place." Julian told me and so I snuck my way back to the house. I sit on the couch with Wiggly.

"It seems like you're getting bigger, bud. I hope you don't turn aggressive once you evolve." I say, looking at wiggly. The door opens, and Julian walks in.

"Well, the group will be coming tomorrow around lunchtime to discuss some stuff about you. We can't hide you forever so the guild master might have to be let known about your existence." Julian says and so we both head to bed.

As morning came, Julian was gone to talk to the group. She said she'd be back around lunchtime. I look over at Wiggly, who's been sleeping on me.

"Yesh, Wiggly, you can't keep getting this big. You're almost the length of my arm now." I say towards Wiggly and so he gets off of me and glares at me. (Can he understand me? Nah, there's no way.) Julian and the group walk into the house.

"So we've been talking, and the guild leader would like to meet you, but you'll still have to be hidden when we head there, so I'll hand you a cloak to wear let's go. I haven't mentioned your little pet yet, so there's no need to worry about him for now." Julian says to me, and so I prepare to leave.
