Couple dance??

"Here they are." The mentor said.

"Welcome. Please seat yourselves. I need to tell you all something important." He said.

They seated themselves. But Hyun-ae kept staring at us.

"After your practice, you'll be dancing the dance you've learnt at your farewell which will be soon for you guys, I guess. So you'll be performing it in front of everyone in your batch. So all the best." He said and asked us to get up.

"Now, I'll show you around. And I'll show the rooms you'll be staying. But before that, you can decide who your gonna be with." He said and looked at our group.

"We've decided." Namjoon oppa said.

"Hoseok hyung and Jin hyung in a group. Taehyung, Yoongi hyung and myself in one group." Namjoon oppa said.

"Ok. Is everyone okay with it?"

They nodded.

"You'll be staying with your partner. Today you can take rest. From tomorrow you'll start you practice." He said and guided us to our rooms.

I walked slowly, looking around at the place. Looking the others ahead of me, I ran and was behind Jimin. Hyun-ae was trying to get to Jimin from the side.

But I stood next to Jimin. He showed a warm smile and looked around.

"Trying to hurt someone I guess. Not gonna work until I'm there." I whispered to her.

"Let's see. First are you gonna be there or not, who knows." She smirked and walked.

I did t care to what she said. For now, I shouldn't do anything.

"So Namjoon and group, this is your room. And Jungkook, Lisa that's your room." He showed them their room.

"Hoseok, Jin that's your room and Jimin, y/n that's your room. And Hyun-ae and your group will be from the rooms after theirs. Have a great stay." He said and left.

We went to our respective rooms.

All I have to do now is, forget about hyun-ae.

We went inside. We were welcomed by the cool air from the air conditioner.

I just took a glance at the room. And OMG the room was more better than the hotel we were in before.

The room was so big enough for more than 20 people to stay in.

I offed the AC and opened the window for some fresh air.

I totally forgot I came with a person. I was so mesmerised with the place. And it had a small balcony, from where we could see the others from their balcony and it had an extraordinary view.

"Mesmerised in your own world?" Jimin asked. I came back to reality.

"Sorry. I was just taken over by the place." I said and smiled.

The others had also come out. So did Hyung-ae.

I turned the other side, not facing her.

"Why don't you take some rest?" I asked Jimin.

"It's ok. In fact, you should take some rest. You've done a lot." He said and pushed me inside the room.

He made me sit on the bed. He took a glance of the bed and said,"I'll sleep on the couch."

"Come on. It's ok, you can sleep with me, it doesn't matter. Back at hotel, you slept. Why hesitate now?" I asked.

"It's ok. You just sleep here." He said and walked. But I held his hand.

"Is something wrong?" I asked worried.

"N-nothing." He said and walked away. I got up and asked,"Is it about Hyun-ae being here?" I asked doubtfully.

"N-no. It-its not a-about h-her." He stammered.

"Really? Look at me and tell."

He hesitated.

"Ok, yes. It's her." He said flopping on the bed.

"Why do you care about her? She wont do anything to you nor will I let her to hurt you." I said.

"I know. But still..." he was worried.

"Come on. Don't worry about it. We're here to dance so let's focus on that." I said and flopped onto the bed.

"You're right." He said and sat down on the bed corner. "I should focus on dance." He said and went to the balcony again.

We passed our time by doing nothing but talking the entire day. We had dinner together and slept.

*next day

I woke up fresh and bright. Today was our first day of practice.

I jumped off the bed and refreshed myself. Jimin was still asleep. I woke him up and he did his morning routine and came.

"Why did you wake me up so early?" He asked.

"Come on. Aren't you excited? It's our first day. Shouldn't you be ready?" I said happily.

"I am excited. But not this early. It's 7 in the morning. Why so early?" He whined.

"Next time I'll wake you an hour late, ok? Now come let's go." I said and we both walked out.

We saw Jungkook and Jin oppa standing out.

"Hey, morning!" I said.

"Morning!" They both said in unison.

"So, where are the others?" Jimin asked.

"They're getting ready." Jungkook said.

"Y/n, can I talk to you for a sec?" Jimin called.

"Sure." I said and we went a bit away from them.

"Yesterday, you remember, when Lisa was asked to choose someone and she chose Jungkook?" He said and I nodded.

"Don't you think there's something??" He paused.

I looked at jungkook. I looked at him in every angle.

Lisa, for sure, I know.

"How about your partner?" Jin oppa asked him. We could hear cause there weren't many people.

"She's ok." He said smiling.

"Definitely yeah." I whispered to Jimin. I couldn't stop but keep smiling.

"So, how about, we add some love portion?" I asked.

"Im definitely part of this." He said.

"Don't tell anyone else about this. This'll be our secret mission." I said and we laughed.

"What are you guys laughing at?" Jungkook asked.

"Nothing." We said and laughed again.

"Hey, guys. Um-anything wrong with you both?" Lisa asked as she came out.

"Nope. Continue." Jimin said and we continued laughing until our stomach pained.

"Let's go." They all came and we went to the room.

There were few people already there.

"Hi!" They said.

"Hi." We said and bowed down.

"Nice to meet you guys. We'll be your trainers. First, let's see whose with whom. Can you stand with your pairs?" Shawn said.

We stood with our pairs.

Hyun-ae came with her group then.

"You guys wait there for a minute." Another guy said to them.

"Ok. Now, introduce yourselves." He said.

One by one we said our names.

"Now the girls. Stand with your pairs and introduce yourselves." He said to them.

Hyun-ae stood with her pair, in front of us. She wanted-ly stood there.

"The other group come forward." He called us.

"The girl and boy pairs come here." He said.

Jimin, Jungkook, Lisa and I stood separately. And the boys stood separately.

"The girls group. You four stand there." He said. In those four, hyun-ae was also a part.

And he put some with the other group.

"You'll be practising in the same room. It's quiet big and we have others coming for practice so I hope you'll understand." Shawn said.

We nodded.

"So there'll be two parts in a room. You'll get to know it when you see. So let's go." He said and guided us.

He showed their rooms and our four pair were yet to be shown.

"You both and you both will be in this room." He said to Jungkook and Lisa and the other pair.

Unfortunately, we were with hyun-ae and her pair. He guided us to our room.

The room was quiet big and there two parts as he said. There was glass door between both the places. And it looked amazing.

"Girls, This'll be your side and and yours is the other side. Wait for sometime, your trainers would join you shortly." He said and left.

We went to our side and it was huge. I couldn't believe I was finally here.

"Y/n. Come here." Jimin called me.

He hugged me suddenly.

"What was that for?" I asked.

"For everything you've done to me. Everything, to make me happy. And there's another surprise for you, but not now. Later." He said.

"You've really changed and I'm happy for you. And thank you for being with me at hard times." I said.

He smiled. "You should actually smile regularly. You know, it's really good to see you that way." I said and he smiled more.

Such an angelic smile.

Our trainers came. They were two people, a male and a female.

"Hi. I'm Eunho Kim. You can call me Eun." He said.

"And I'm Sori na. You can call me Sori." She said.

"I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you." I said and bowed.

"I'm Jimin. Nice to meet you." He said and bowed.

"So we are you're trainers. And as you are paired as male and female, you're gonna learn couple dance." Eun said.

"Couple dance??!!" We both asked confused.

"Any problem in that?" Sori asked.

"Nothing. But can't we do freestyle?" Jimin asked.

"Yeah, cause we know more freestyle and hip hop than couple dancing." I continued.

"Well, we'll teach you. It's ok if it takes time but we were assigned to take this for you guys." Sori said.

"It's ok. We'll be okay with it. It's also a dance. We'll take part." I said.

"Ok. We'll just get some things done and we'll start. You guys can wait here." Eun said and they both went.

"Why did you accept?" Jimin asked.

"I know it's tough to do. But coming here itself is such a big thing. And it wouldn't be good if we don't go with things. It's a dance and new thing to us, so let's just give it a try." I said.

"You're right. Let's give it a try." He said.

"So, this is also new for me as well as you. Do you think we can do it?" I asked doubtfully.

"I don't know. But I'm sure, we can do it. More practice and hard work may help us out." He said. I nodded.

Eun and sori came back.

"Ok, let's start with warm ups." Sori said and we followed her.

*after 10 mins

We finished our warm up and we're waiting for further instructions.

"Now, let's start from basics. We'll see how to hold each other." Eun said.

"There are different ways to hold. First, jimin, you hold at Y/n's waist. Like this." Eun demonstrated.

"And y/n, you place your hands on Jimin's shoulder." Sori demonstrated.

It felt a bit uncomfortable at first, cause we never thought in that way.

I kept my hands on his shoulders and he put his hands on my waist.

"Now, slightly move your body. Both his hands and her body should move in sync." Sori said.

We tried. I slowly moved and moved it to his hands action. It felt different to move that way.

"Nice." They said. "Now the next one. His left hand on her waist or half hug her. And her right hand on his shoulder and the other hand, you both interlock."

We did as they said. And we slightly moved our body.

"Great. You guys are picking up really well." Eun said.

"These two are the basic. Now, we'll start with some steps." Sori said.

*after few hours

We learnt some steps. It took us time to learn cause it was totally new.

"Well, today's class is this much. You're doing pretty good. Practice a lot and tomorrow we'll learn more." Sori said.

"Thank you." We said and bowed. And we left to our room.

As we reached our room, I flopped onto the bed.

"Gosh! It's kinda difficult than I thought." I said.

"But we can try hard. You know, practice more. We can schedule a time for it." He said.

"Yup." I said.

Jimin flopped onto the bed next to me.

They flopped onto the bed. Being tired by practice, without their knowledge, both of them had fallen asleep.
