The one from above!

The wind blew across a massive forest of trees separated only by their sheer size and width, a beautiful sight of azure trees and crystal leaves. Leaving one to dream of the beauty between land and sea.

On this day a very precious sight could be seen from the clouds.

A shining dot could be seen glimmering under the bright light of the sun, below it stood a beautiful painting of land that meets the sea with a dazzling forest growing on its border.

Daede was awed.

However, remembering his goal, he adjusted himself as he took in the precious moment he would forever remember.

His first landing on this world's earth.

Looking around he tried to see beyond the forest and noticed vast lands. The view was mind-numbingly big.

"Holy **! I knew this place was big but just who the hell designed this map!" Daede thought and for a moment he felt like he heard a cough but it was as fleeting as the clouds and new lands awaited him so he focused.

Getting over his surprise from how endless this piece of land seemed. He started looking at points of interest.

"Ouh a mountain!" Seeing a familiar sight Daede almost forgot he was on alien land. One can't forget to enjoy the scenery once they come back from floating in space goo for who knows how long.

Along the side of the mountain, it seemed that there was some odd-shaped place that was devoid of trees. It seemed to have some structures around which immediately gave Daede hope.

"Interesting but... hmmm. Dangerous. Forget it, I can always take my time going there. At least I know there is a place. Hehe, one day my beautiful alien ladies... hopefully." Daede sighed at the last part of his sentence but continued searching.

A lonely man he was. Space mush or not, a man had dreams.

He started seeing some mountain ranges not too far away from where he was gliding. The moment his altitude started dropping, Daede unleashed a condensed mental glider with his rocky surface attached at its center.

The perks from solidifying mental energy were ridiculously awesome. It felt similar to the stories of inner qi being externalized but with a different substance. Daede was glad nonetheless but still paid attention to avoid getting eaten by a bird.

"Hmmm." He paused for a second before adding.

"Actually, considering the previous success. That's not a bad idea."

His vigilance against birds dropped immediately to zero and he returned to sightseeing.

"Wait... would they shoot me down?" He questioned himself before concluding with a simple statement.

"Nah, shiny rocky on a glider. Who dares not want me!?"

As such he took his sweet time slowly gliding toward the mountain ranges he spotted.

The trees were nice but he didn't want to start in a forest and considering the size of the trees. He would simply be competing with absolute beasts.

["Let's do something nicer. Yeah. Simple is always best and since I can simply fly over your territory, let's not bother each other"] Daede Quote # 62

With his decree, he remained in the sky just waiting to be grabbed by something as he slowly made his way forward while glittering like a blazing falling star.

"One should be low-key when reincarnating but I didn't reincarnate anywhere! Just lost everything but my mind on a field trip!" Daede proudly started reassuring himself. Of what, unsure.

Although from his words, one wouldn't think he was from losing that last part too.

While making a beeline to the mountain range that was more pleasing to the eyes, Daede started looking for people. He was curious if they really even existed here or at least some form of intelligent life.

Starting from savagery would be a bummer for Daede considering humans are social creatures and even if he never spoke to people, he at least wanted to be surrounded by them. Why?

["How else would I live a life of luxury!? A bed is a must! One must not lack the most basic needs. A house!? Tsk, how disappointing those situations are when you can't even fill your stomach and drink a nice beer on a Wednesday evening. Society is a must or else, it's trees and dirt and crap on the floor with wild beasts on my ass! NEVER!"] Daede monologue #288

While Daede could survive in the woods and in dire situations, he, however, would not forcibly go into those situations without enough benefits and right now to him. There was nothing but confusion, danger and becoming some weird caveman drawing runes on cave walls if he went inside the forest.

"A nice cozy town, or metropolis... actually scratch the metropolis and let's stick with the town. Shiny Rock ain't going to have a good time if they do have that kind of power. Alright! Decision made. Small cozy town where are you!" Daede continued talking to himself.

One can also imagine why Daede was seeking civilization so badly. Those great cultivators cultivating for months without end while remaining indifferent to the world for decades was a thing. But again, Daede right now had no use for something he didn't even know how to do.

Knowledge was power and right now, he was a solar-powered rock as far as he knew and changing that required others who hopefully figured some shit out.

He continued a few hours of gliding through the skies. Daede didn't have all that mental juice for no reason. He applied simple propeller motions to keep himself at the same altitude. As for all who saw him, these were opportunities to gather information.

If anybody catches him, he plays dead. They figure him out, he plays dead. Worst case, he plays dead. Really worst case, he dead.

"3/4 is equal to a 75% success rating. That's some good math when stranded on foreign... cough, I mean intergalactic lands. This whole plan was a risk, to begin with... why stop now." Daede muttered as he corrected himself. Quite sensitive to an opinion even with no one around to give one.

Sometimes Daede wonders if the Earth or the humans there ever wonder about him and his departure. If some weird link that connects his being to the planet existed. It made him proud of making it somewhere beyond anyone else before.

"Though this might be heaven, I died and was granted one free simulation of success, I'll bet on my success and live an amazing life here or there or wherever I go from now! Let's see how far I get hehe..hehe...hEHEHHEHE!"

Daede started maniacally laughing. Though no one hears it outside his shiny surface, the maniacal-ness can be spotted.
