The drama next door was being watched closely by Randy.
And he was thoroughly enjoying it.
"Let it go on, let it go on, the more intense the better."
Accompanied by Margaret's prayers next door, Randy was particularly motivated as he prepared dinner.
Despite the outer veneer of civilization, everything in the Western world is fundamentally barbaric, including their religious beliefs and various mythological systems. You might envy their refined lifestyle today, but once you dig deeper, it's hard to blend in due to the lack of core philosophical substance, especially for someone with a profound background like a Chinese person.
Unless one chooses to castrate themselves in advance.
Randy had already finished dinner, but the prayers from Carrie's house showed no sign of stopping.
They were even playing church music, which left Randy with no inclination to rest.
So he tidied up his gear, took a fire axe for protection, and headed straight for the small forest.
He needed to check on Mohr's situation—whether he had encountered an accident midway or if he hadn't shown up at all.
As for how to deal with a clown?
Having been in America for over a week now, Randy was no weakling.
Aside from weapons like the Truth Gun, Randy could easily handle close combat unless facing someone with the physique of Tyson.
If he encountered someone truly difficult, Randy wouldn't mind using the little magic he had left to deliver a thunderous blow to the darkness.
With his innate talent, even though Randy had been practicing lightning spells every day for over a week, the actual magic power he could gather wasn't enough for significant use. Therefore, his previous attempts had been relatively ineffective.
If he were to meet Pennywise, Randy wouldn't hesitate to use his magic. Such evil spirits were most afraid of lightning and fire attacks.
Moreover, Randy wasn't afraid of him at all, so Pennywise's strongest ability, illusion creation, seemed particularly ineffective.
The forest in Derry was very quiet, and no one would be strolling here at night.
Unless going deep, there wouldn't be any large wild animals encountered.
The surroundings were silent, with only the sound of footsteps on leaves.
Randy soon saw the stone bridge but didn't approach it directly. Instead, he first looked for the markers he had left for Mohr nearby.
The green stones had been moved, and the letters inside were missing.
"So this guy has already been here? Then why hasn't he gone to the seaside?"
Randy walked towards the seaside and noticed something unusual after just a few steps.
There was a popped balloon on the ground.
"So Mohr had a terrifying thought midway? Did he attract the clown?"
Randy picked it up and saw that there was writing on it.
"Short Mohr."
It seemed like a taunt, and it looked quite meaningful.
Randy walked a few more steps and found another popped balloon.
"Did it end so quickly?"
Randy's expression became unusual; he felt that these few words had strong implications.
Unfortunately, he couldn't find any more balloons as he continued forward.
"It doesn't make sense. If ordinary people saw two floating balloons in the forest, they'd definitely find it strange and run away."
Randy moved forward and reached under the stone bridge, where he saw some bloodstains in the deep tunnel and two letters in the corner.
Opening them, they were the bait he had left.
"So he really got intercepted?"
Randy looked into the tunnel; it was pitch black, even with the flashlight, it remained dark.
He roughly considered the situation in his mind.
Most likely, Mohr had found another part of the photo while crossing the stone bridge but was frightened by his own inferiority regarding the forthcoming encounter. Thus, Pennywise seized the opportunity for further humiliation and intimidation, eventually scaring him off and consuming him?
While Randy was thinking, a sudden noise came from the tunnel ahead.
"Damn it, who's out there?"
"F*ck, I'm going to knock his eyes out!"
These were Carl and Billy's voices.
Soon, the two of them walked out of the tunnel—no, three people, but Robert was too dark to notice until he got closer.
"It's Randy. Who allowed you to look at us?"
"It's been a while since I've beaten you, today's a good time to do it."
Randy remained expressionless. As the three approached, he immediately swung the fire axe at Billy's neck.
The sensation felt very real.
But Billy acted as if nothing happened, continuing to talk to himself with his head tilted. "Are you mute now? Can't you speak?"
Randy pulled out the axe, this time holding it with both hands, and aimed for a horizontal cut at his head.
"Swish!"
This time the sensation felt much less real, like cutting through tofu.
Billy's half head, along with his upper jaw, was completely sliced off, and he fell down without speaking.
"Playing tricks."
Randy used the axe to knock down the other two.
He then crouched down to inspect the bodies of the three.
Unfortunately, even though they felt real to the touch, they were all fake and couldn't be used as fertilizer.
As Randy sighed, a new voice suddenly came from his ear.
"What are you looking for?"
The voice had a noticeable tremor, as if the tonsils were swaying while speaking.
Randy turned around, and a creepy clown appeared right in front of him.
With a classic red nose and lips, the red mark on the corners of its mouth looked like a scar that crossed its eyes, and its head was unusually large, with a hairline almost reaching the back of its head.
The clown continued speaking, its pupils dilated, and saliva-like oil was constantly flowing from the corners of its mouth.
"Are these the guys you were looking for? Or not?"
After saying this, it snapped its fingers.
Two more people appeared in the tunnel, Rick and Sade.
Randy glanced at them and turned back, maintaining an expressionless stare at Pennywise.
"Is it them? Or not? How disappointing, is this what you wanted?"
Pennywise's mouth continued to drool more, and by the end of its sentence, its mouth could barely close, with a lubricating liquid continually flowing out. Then, a hand emerged, slowly revealing a head, and then the entire body.
It was Mohr, the one Randy had been searching for, now spewed out by Pennywise.
After Mohr fell to the ground, he raised his head and greeted Randy.
"Randy, thank you for coming to save me."
The scene was bizarre yet somewhat comical.
"This must be what you wanted, right?"
Pennywise widened its beady eyes and looked at Randy. "You found what you were looking for, so now let me tell you what I want."
It then suddenly opened its gaping mouth.
"Sizzle."
Randy extended his hand, and lightning flickered continuously, instantly illuminating the tunnel entrance.
"What do you want? Tell me, maybe I can satisfy you."
Pennywise's open mouth immediately closed, and it took a step back.
"I want to perform a magic trick for you."
After saying this, it snapped its fingers.
"Boom boom boom boom boom!"
All the earlier appearances, whether Carl or Rick, vanished into smoke.
