Jayson lets out a breath as he slowly becomes conscious of his physical surroundings again. He has now let go of the negative emotions from being suddenly transmigrated. He first thought is to consider the strength of his conquering haki.

Though glad he has the rare ability, he feels the haki he released is subpar and far below what it could be. He brings up various conjectures on why in his head. He finally arrives at a satisfiable conclusion.

'In future, I must not use this method to fight with conquering haki. Raw emotions won't create a strong enough haki to defeat stronger willed people. Mental fortitude and unshakable determination is the way to go. Raw emotions can only give little unreliable strength boosts. Afterall, Luffy's haki outburst at Marineford hurt only the low level pirates."

Jayson opens his eyes which are now a glowing red. He notices the difference in depth perception and is pleasantly surprised.

"So this is my Daitengu form. CawCawCaw" Jayson flaps his wings gently causing a large breeze to form. He is slowly lifted off the ground. Jayson marvels at the strength of this form and the overall ability of his Devil fruit.

"OohAah." Jayson turns around and faces his crew-mate. Kong possesses a large basket made of leaves and wood in his hands. The humandrill carefully walks over to Jayson while making sure not to drop any fruits. Kong drops the basket in front of Jayson for him to inspect the fruits.

Poof!

A cloud of magic smoke suddenly bursts out of Jayson as he leaves his Daitengu form. The smoke cloud dissipates to reveal Jayson back in his human form.

Jayson drools a bit as he stares at the large fruit basket. The fruits in front of him made him realize this body's hunger. His new body has not eaten for almost two days now.

This fact truly shows the incredibility of a zoan devil fruit, especially mythological zoan. Jayson's current stamina and health regeneration is now superhuman. He used up a lot of energy to brainwash Kong. After that he used conquering haki a lot which takes even more energy and stamina.

Even after all that, Jayson feels like he can fight ten more Kongs. Currently, his stamina is quickly regenerating. His current stamina regen seems to be multiple times greater than when he first received the fruit.

After eating the DF, he felt like his basic (No transformation) physical attributes doubled to tripled. Now he feels five times as strong as he was when he first got here.

'Must be a result of the Daitengu form. It seems that by unlocking another part of my fruit, I have increased my overall strength. It affects even my basic human form. That's good as it means when I unlock my full transformation, I will gain a strength boost as well. I must increase my physical and devil fruit abilities ASAP. My haki as well, as there seems to be a positive relationship between haki and devil fruits. That makes sense if I consider how Luffy uses haki to maintain his Gear Fourth forms.'

'In about an hour or two, I'll train my observation.' Jayson picks up a pear shaped fruit and begins to eat it. 'Hmm, tastes like pineapple.'

Jayson chooses a lot of fruit and throws them to Kong so the humandrill can eat with him. The two crew members eat for a while. As Jayson munches on various fruits, he starts to plan his next move.

'First I need to train. It's good I have a training partner already.' Jayson looks at Kong, who is happily throwing fruits into his mouth. Jayson plans to use Kong to train his Haki and fighting skills. Kong as a humandrill will copy his martial arts in no time. The humandrill's gunner skills will also improve as it learns to shoot a moving target while dodging Jayson's attacks.

Jayson also plans to blindfold Kong to ensure the humandrill awakens observation haki as soon as possible. Of course, both of them will work on building muscle separately. Increasing the strength of his training partner is very important because in this world you fight the strong to become strong.

'After training for a year on this island I'll need a boat. I don't want to carry this big guy in my arms to the next island.' The nearest Island is Loguetown and it will take almost two days by boat to get there. The distance is huge because Drill Island is at the edge of East Blue. In fact, the calm belt can be reached in a few minutes by boat.

'Sigh, those pirates surely killed the few shipwrights in the village too.' All the shipwrights in the village were men and in a small coastal village with a small population of two hundred and forty six, all grown men are part of the village's anti-pirate defence force.

Jayson knows all the members of the coastal village are dead or worse: trafficked. From what the previous owner of his body could see from the hill he was on after he escaped the smithery was that there were more than fifty pirates.

Jayson views the boy's memories and hears a name he remembers from the one piece anime. The boy heard one of the pirates scream "For Don Kreig!" before throwing a Molotov into the smithery. Jayson remembers from the anime that the Krieg Pirates will terrorize East Blue till Kreig decides to head to the Grandline.

The only reason why the boy, who's name was Tap, survived was that the Smithery lies on the outskirts of the village towards the forest. This allows the smithery to have easy access to wood, mined materials from the hill nearby, and water from a stream that lies a couple minutes into the forest. It also ensures that the heavy smoke from the furnace does not pollute the village.

'Tap's master worked on ships a couple times. And he always makes extensive notes on whatever he worked on.' Jayson scours Tap's memories for where the studious master kept his notes.

'Gotcha.' Jayson thinks to himself as he throws an apple fruit into his mouth. The smith does not live in the coastal village with Tap. Instead, the man lives in a cabin near a waterfall. The smith's notes lie in a safe under the bungalow.

'I hope the old man was not tortured into giving up the location of his valuables.' Jayson picks himself up. He is finally full of fruits. Strangely, he has eaten close to forty fruits and his stomach shows no sign of swelling. This is because his new constitution also improved his ability to digest and break down food. He can already feel the fruits he just ate being used to replenish his stamina.

"CawCawCaw, no wonder Luffy feels rejuvenated after eating. His mythical zoan fruit must be rapidly digesting his meals to produce nutrients." Jayson clenches his fist and appreciates the power he feels lying under his body. He smiles and relaxes his hand before turning to Kong.

"Come on buddy, let's find our new home". Jayson watches the humandrill pick up the quarter full fruit basket. They both turn and walk in the direction of the cabin. After a slow and peaceful journey, Jayson is pleased to find the cabin untouched by anyone. The cabin lies in a grassy clearing. At the end of the clearing a waterfall can be seen.

The cabin is a one bedroom home with a living room, kitchen and shower.

'The pirates must've been satisfied with their gains from the smithery. Tap's master kept most of his Belis there. Also the smithery held various weapons in good condition that the pirates will use to increase their strength.'

Jayson runs and hops into the lake at the bottom of the waterfall to get the soot off his body. He discards his shorts as they look irredeemable. After ten minutes, he is satisfied with his clean body, and so, Jayson climbs out of the lake.

He walks into the cabin and chooses some clean shorts for himself. He also finds the large metal safe hidden under the smith's bed. Tap had discovered it while cleaning the cabin before. The smith didn't care as he viewed the boy as trustworthy.

BAM!!

Jayson punches through the wood floor using both of his hands. He grips the edges of the safe and lifts the two ton safe from its place. The safe looks like the large cube ones in old cowboy movies. Jayson carefully holds the safe and takes it outside to view its contents.

Jayson sets the safe down outside in a clearing. Kong walks over to him curiously and taps the safe.

"OohOohAaah." Jayson snorts as he hears Kong's words.

"No Kong, this isn't something you can eat." Jayson understands Kong's words because Jayson has a telepathic connection to those in his thrall. Jayson studies the safe in font of him. He is currently deciding the best way to open it.

"Eureka" Jayson releases his wings with a whoosh sound. He positions his wings as he prepares to try a new move.

'My wings are very strong. Especially my feathers that are stronger than steel. They are like in built swords I can use. I will use them to cut this safe open like a can! Slice!' Jayson uses his right wing to slash horizontally across the safe. The slice is quick and the top of the safe doesn't fall nor move. Jayson uses his hands to push the top of the safe off.

CLANG! The top of the safe makes a loud noise as it hits the ground. Jayson walks over to check the safe's contents. In the safe are papers and some Beli. The papers seem to be bundled together separately and Jayson can tell that there are three distinct bundles.

'Sigh, paperwork in my next life as well.' Jayson picks a bundle and sits on the grass.

"Kong, gather some meat for dinner. Also prepare some dry wood for making a fire." The humandrill instantly gets to work by running into the forest.
