Fu Sichen was the person that Pei Zhen hated most in his life.

When Fu Sichen was awarded Best Male Lead in the most recent Film Awards once again, Pei Zhen almost flipped the table. A nearby camera caught him leaving in a huff.

"As expected of the eternal runner-up."

"Please have mercy, Best Actor Fu. Give runner-up Pei Zhen a chance."

Pei Zhen didn't even need to read the news to know how the media would ridicule him.

That's right!

Pei Zhen didn't stand a chance with Fu Sichen around.

Pei Zhen reflected upon his own acting skills and appearance. How did any of these fall short of Fu Sichen?

None of them did. Apart from being a little shorter height-wise, he was outstanding in every other way!

His voice was deep and charming, and his lanky body had been fitted with a smart-looking suit. Fu Sichen lowered his head slightly to meet Pei Zhen's eyes. "I hope you won't hate me because of this."

"How could I?" Pei Zhen said with a smile. "I've seen all of Best Actor Fu's works. You have brilliant acting skills. I admit defeat."

After that superficial exchange, Pei Zhen pulled himself up close to Fu Sichen. While his attitude didn't reveal any hostility, his words were arrogant to the extreme.

"Just you wait. One day, I'll have you bow down to me and call me daddy."

After leaving these words, Pei Zhen stepped back to give Fu Sichen a friendly punch on the shoulder. He then proclaimed in a loud voice, making sure everybody could hear him, "Oh, so dinner's on you? You really are the Best Actor! Unfortunately, I'm busy tonight. My apologies for not being able to make it."

The crowd broke into a cheer after hearing that the meal was going to be free.

"Thank you, Best Actor!"

"We're in for a treat!"

"The Japanese cuisine at the Jin Cheng Hotel has always been my favorite!"

The power of free food was strong. The crowd ignored Pei Zhen and surged forward. They turned all their attention to Fu Sichen, and lavished praises on him.

Pei Zhen stepped to the side.

He gave Fu Sichen a wry smile, and said, "Sayonara." Then, he turned and left.

"Pei Zhen!" Pei Zhen's manager Xiao Nian yelled, "Do you have any idea of what you've just done? You issued a challenge to Fu Sichen's face! You're clearly provoking a fight! This is self-destruction!"

"Why are you so negative about your own artiste, Xiao Nian? Do you really think that I'm that bad?" Before the media could turn their attention to him, Pei Zhen quickly started to walk out of the award ceremony.

"It's not that you're bad, or anything like that. It's just that Fu Sichen is too good."

Pei Zhen was speechless.

What kind of manager puts down his own artiste by praising other people!

Worried that this was too great of a blow to Pei Zhen's self-confidence, Xiao Nian reassured him, "Don't be too upset, Pei Zhen. Fu Sichen has been in the industry for much longer than you have. This is a [Boys love] / [Gay] novel. I just wanted to get that out of the way, the tags and the description dont make it obvious so let me. Well then the [Male Lead] is [Second Best Male Actor], the [Gay Interest] is [Male Best Actor]. Classic gay fantasy boys love story. MC has been chased around by #1 Male lead his whole life but he's too Stupid to notice. Anyway MC is a closet gay idiot and tries to save an animal [Blue Eyed White Cat] that was crossing the driveway, he gets hit by [Truck-kun]'s gay cousin and goes into a coma, he wakes up next to his unconcious body and notices he's a cat. Best actor the big gay that he is was creepily standing next to unconscious male lead wanting to rape (jk) but unfortunately others were close by so he buys the white cat from the cats owner in a gay twist of fate. Anyway time to review the actual story, since this is a boys love fantasy story as you can imagine the writing is just okay, so that means while the translator can be super good the writing won't become better for it. Only giving 3 stars for update stability because the story was just released and only has like 11 chapters instead of the standard 14. It's the only thing I have to base my star rating on so there. As far as the story goes well I guess the MC is a cat, the love interest is gay, also the chapters are super short as expected of a trashy romance novel. As for the lead character MC is a tsundere arrogant guy with a fiery personality that is warped in insecurities. First best actor is a gay fish. (Not literally he's just kind of gaaaaaaayyyyyyy.) He's kind of a jealous bully type of gay who lusts for his two years younger junior. It's funny how he exhorted a love confession out of him when they were in high school. The I think this novel could be tagged as [Magical Realism] if it wasn't a [GAY] [Romance] novel instead, basically the setting is in [Modern] real life. So yeah it isn't a slaughter fest cultivation world so if you wanted that nope. There you go if you read until here and still don't know if you should read this story you're a gay fish.

I am not into BL novel. I wanted Famale Mc, that's why i choose female lead section, who know that webnovel lie us. Please Add this novel in Male Lead Section and Add GL novel in Female Lead section. OMG! This novel is sooo good! It's seriously hilarious! I was laughing my ass off while reading this novel! Our poor mc got turned into cat and our Mr. Fu took him in as his pet not knowing that the pet cat is his sworn rival (most likely one-sided from pei zhen's side😂) It's so funny reading through mc's reactions as he turned into a cat and every single sentence turns into "meow" and our mr. delusional ml thinks that his pet really likes him as pei zhen runs to him every time to scratch him and mr. fu thinks that jus dear pet cat is showing his affections! 😂😂
