Going to be a father

Lily and Chris were enjoying their time together as a couple and since lily was a little adventurous they always had somewhere to go like, shopping or sightseeing and even visiting different restaurants.

Mornings were easy, they would get up and clean up their apartment then make some breakfast take a shower and rush out the door by 12 noon every day.

They both seemed to have forgotten the situation they were in and just decided to make the most out the "vacation" by painting the town red. As always they had two bodyguards following them everywhere anonymously and they put on accessories to hide their real faces, that afternoon they decided to visit a local animal century that was half an hour away from where they stayed, the century was secluded but it was bustling with kids and their parents so it was relatively safe for them to be there.

They saw animals that had been bought from all over the world living happily in their enclosures and minding their own business( I the author am against animals being put in zoos or cages, they lose their animalistic instincts and it's just cruel). They got to an enclosure that houses alpacas and saw a family of five alpacas, while standing near the cage a woman and her son stood near lily as she was reading out fun facts about alpacas to her son. It was a cute sight Lily thought to herself but all of a sudden she smelled the woman's fragrance that was laced with sandalwood and oak.. she felt nauseated.

The closer the lady got the more the fragrance entered her nostrils violently and attacked her stomach, she felt like she had entered a room that was laced with the fragrance and couldn't breathe, she was gasping and Chris grabbed her shoulders

"What's wrong? You look so pale" Chris asked in a panic. Lily couldn't answer him instead she ran to the nearest trash can and puked all the food she had had earlier, after puking she stood up and then her body went weak. Without a warning she blanked out for a moment and then fainted onto the ground, Chris ran to her and picked her up shouting out for help.

A tall slim man ran over and struggled through the crowd that was forming around the couple but eventually he got to them and said he was a doctor, he asked Chris to put her back on the ground to check vitals, the man calmly checked her pulse and her pupils, she was fine and had just fainted.

"Are you and your wife trying for a baby" the doctor asked as he looked up to Chris who was freaking out, the guards had watched the whole thing but did not intervene. "What do you mean?" Chris asked confused and panicked, his girlfriend just fainted and here's this Asian doctor asking about babies, he wasn't able to piece together what the doctor meant.

"My advice is to go and buy a pregnancy test kit sir, and if she's pregnant I'd like to congratulate you in advance" said the doctor as he stood up.

Chris froze instantly, what he just heard felt like he was just hit by a high speed train and his soul was floating around the area where lily was lying. He took lily in his arms and stared at her stomach, he reached out to her tummy with his left hand and ran his hand over it. A smile appeared on his face "I'm going to be a father?" He asked with tears of joy forming in his eyes. Wasn't she on a contraception? Never mind that it's not important at that moment, she could be pregnant.

Lily's strength started to flow back into her body and she opened her slowly eyes to see a little crowd around her and Chris with a huge smile on his face, she remembered that she puked and felt dizzy. "Help me up Chris" Lily asked as she sat up, Chris gently got her on her feet with the help of the doctor, lily was a bit dazed but turned to look at the man that was helping her and got a strange frightening feeling, his long hair and gold rimmed glasses gave off a creepy feeling.

"Th-thank you sir" Lily said softly to the doctor, her heart was beating fast and she felt like it was about to jump out of her body, she did not understand why she felt so much fear after seeing this man, she clinged onto Chris's arm and buried her head in his chest. "Can we go home now please " She said, Chris was way ahead of her and they walked slowly to the car, the doctor was about to turn away and leave when Chris stopped "doctor I did not get your name?" He said to the man. The man stopped and gave him a creepy grin, "My name is Greg Chen, do well to look after the young lady" said the "doctor" and then he walked away.
