"Stop playing games with me. Why did you called me in the middle of the night?" Kurapika demanded an answer.
"Fufufufufufufufu. I'm quite hurt. I haven't seen my friend in 6 months and you are this cold to me?" I placed my right hand on my chest and made a pained face.
"I already warned you that I'm not here to play games with you." He said.
"Fufufufu. Fine. But tell me, what would you do to get you revenge on the Phantom Troupe?" I asked.
This made him open his eyes wide while he clenched his hand. "Everything." And answered.
"I don't mind telling you all of their abilities. On one condition, of course." I smiled when I saw that my proposal picked his interest.
"What do you want?" He became suspicious.
"Out of the 13 members, I want you to help me capture two of them." I showed him my index and middle finger.
"Why? They are monsters who commit atrocities without batting an eyelid." He asked.
"Nah, ah, ah. Wrong move. I don't have to explain myself, nor my reasons, to you. You are in no position to question my motives. I'm giving you a chance. I will help you kill 10 of the Spiders while I keep 2 of them to myself. Think carefully on your next move." I warned him.
"If you are going to let me kill 10 of them while keeping 2 to you, that adds up to 12 of them, not 13." He commented.
"Yes. The other one I'm not interested in killing. At least not right now." I told him.
"Huff. Fine." He accepted my offer.
"Perfect." I said before I threw a piece of paper into Kurapika's direction.
He picked it up and unfolded it. After a few seconds of analysis, he asked. "There are only 11 abilities in the paper. Where's the others?"
"The other 2, I will tell you later on. For now, you should focus on avoiding the biggest threats." I said, to which he nodded. "Hmm. Chrollo's ability is truly troublesome. But, how did you got this information?" He looked at me.
"Fufufufufufu. Secret." I smiled at his eagerness to know.
After seeing that I was not willing to share my methods with him, he turned around and left. While he was doing this, I said. "Don't die early." And Kurapika, without turning around, said. "I won't die until all the Spider members are dead."
'You better not die. You are still useful, Kurapika. You will be the perfect pawn for my future plans.' I thought and smiled when I saw his departing back.
Then I turned to Vergo who was watching in the sidelines. "It is almost time for phase 2." I told him.
"Should we go and meet with Ponzu? She should have arrived by now." He proposed.
"Ponzu is not needed yet." I answered.
"What about Menchi? She is pretty strong and is a 1 Star Hunter." He said.
"Go and contact her. Tell her to come to Yorknew City, after all, she has a promise to fulfill." I ordered.
'When I mastered the basics of Nen, Zeno contacted Netero and asked him to make me a full fledged Hunter. To which Netero accepted. After all, no one had ever been trained by Zeno.' I thought.
"We might have to take a detour before starting the 2nd phase of the plan. After all, there is a underground auction that we can steal and blame it on the Phantom Troupe." I said before we began to make our way to the underground auction.
After we arrived there and seeing all of the security the mafia had placed around the building, I turned to Vergo. "You should look for a insane man that has sunglasses, like yours. He should be the one transporting the treasure, since the mafia already knows that they are going to be raided by someone, thanks to Neon. Now the question is, what to do with Neon? I could keep her as a pet, after all, her ability is quite useful." I placed my hand on my chin, contemplating about what to do.
(Seeing the future might be a curse and a blessing at the same time. It can get you obsessed with a prophecy that might never happen and your own obsession might destroy you from the inside out.) Nyarlathotep said.
'Hmm. If I cannot have her ability, then I might as well kill her.' I smiled.
(This is a bad choise. If you do you that, you will lose her ability. ItIt is quite hard to make a decision. After all, either you risk mutual destruction or you destroy a great ability.) She warned me.
'Hmm. I don't really want to let Chrollo have that ability, and at the same time I don't want to take it with me. While Neon is cute, I don't think she is worth the risk. Oh well, I will decide it later on, for now we have a task at hand.' At this moment I could feel something ringing on my pocket.
Picking it up, I looked and saw that it was vergo. We had spilt up so that we could cover more ground. So I picked it up and Vergo said. "I found him."
"Fufufufufufu. Where?"
"There is a convoy of cars that is escorting him out. The mafia didn't wanted to bring attention to it, so he only had two civilian cars walking in formation. How should we proceed?" He asked.
"Fufufu. Isn't it obvious? We kill everyone and kidnap Owl. After all, Nen can be kept after that and losing that treasure would be a waste." I told him.
"Roger." And he turned off the phone.
"I might not even need to do anything. Vergo will probably deal with everything before I can arrive there." I commented before I dashed in Vergo's direction.
After a few minutes, I saw the car crash, Vergo, the one who had killed everyone on sight and destroyed two of the cars, was now gripping Owl's neck with only one hand.
"Okay, we should leave. We need to have a very long conversation with the friend we captured." I told him.
"Okay." He nodded.
In the end, I left some grenades in the middle of the road as good measure before both of us disappeared in the night.
