Fisk Test II.

After recovering enough, I withdrew the whip with my left hand and the wand with my right. The trainer looked at me, or more specifically at how I held the whip, and seemed quite satisfied.

In reality, there are reasons why I know how to use the whip. One is because years ago I joined an international program and went to a country in the East, where I enrolled in a school that used the whip as a form of dance. However, while practicing one day in a park, an old man called me over, and from then on, he always taught me how to use the whip not only as a dance but as a form of combat. I found it fascinating and still practice it today.

Possibly because of this, the trainer smiled more than satisfied when he saw how I handled the whip.

"Start and destroy as many of them as you want."

Hearing his words, I focused on the "enemies" ahead, which were simply training dummies that didn't move but seemed capable of measuring our combat performance and creat to adapting our fighting style.

I swung the whip smoothly and began to attack with it. The whip moved through the air at high speed, striking vital points on the dummy, including the head, neck, and around the heart. It moved like a snake or a stream of water, moving smoothly but with precision and lethality. Finally, the dummy was destroyed and scattered into flying pieces of wood, quickly replaced by another as a white light covered it.

The interesting thing was that I saw a small magical circle or something similar appear on the ground, which made my eyes shine for a few seconds.

The concept of magic and its capabilities inside tjhe games has always fascinated me, offering such diverse possibilities.

Of course, I didn't think about it now and resumed my attack. As I regained some mana, I activated the skill. A magic arrow formed above my wand and flew directly at the dummy's head under my control. Unfortunately, it didn't hit exactly where I aimed because I lost control of the mana for a second.

I frowned but continued while looking at the wand.

I particularly find the wand more interesting than the staff, but it's not very necessary to use now. For mages or similar classes, staffs and wands act as weapons, giving special bonuses to attacks, special effects, and/or facilitating magic control. However, this one has no specific effect, so its use is not very necessary, but I still use it with future in mind.

Then I continued training, alternating between the wand and the whip, spending several hours in the game, but only a little over an hour in the real world.

After good hours in the game with little rest, I lay down completely exhausted but satisfied. Using mana as training excited me.

"It was really fun... I bet hunting... and using magic in combat must be very fun..."

I also looked at the notifications that came in.

I smiled, satisfied. Arranging status has various means according to the forum and based on what Livia told me.

The easiest way was leveling up, where you would get 5 points to distribute in status, but while the forum left it relatively open, only mentioning the possibility of earning them with some titles, Livia said some games offer special missions to obtain status points, and another more uncommon and inefficient way was repeating certain actions excessively, and that's how I got these extra points.

As I thought about how to get more status points and possibilities of earning titles, something I had a bit of interest in given my slight competitiveness and as a way to facilitate the game, I saw a shadow above me.

I looked up and saw the trainer Fisk.

"It was good, boy. I planned for you to destroy 10 with the arrow and 15 with the whip, but you destroyed 50 and 70 respectively. I'm satisfied."

"Take this."

He said and threw me a bag, which when I opened had bottles and some gold coins.

<You completed the mission Impressive Training I>

<Due to your high performance and effort... rating is S->

<Your impression with trainer Fisk increased significantly>

<You 10 received gold coins as a bonus>

>5 low-level mana potions, 6 low-level HP potions>

<Mission Impressive Training II received>

Mission: Impressive Training II

Objective: Go to the beginner's hunting field and hunt the iron-beaked chickens (0/30) with the mission walk with two weapons for a total of 50 (0/50)

Reward: 2 regular MP potions, 3 regular HP potions, Leather Armor (normal), gold coins (depending on the number of items brought), Mission walk with two weapons (complete and associated rewards: 10 gold coins and weapons).

Description: It's time to start your hunt, good luck and don't get pecked to death.

---

I read the mission and heard the trainer's voice follow.

"For now, I need you to hunt some iron-beaked chickens. All of them go up to level 5 at most. What I need is 50 in total to cover my account as well as your other task. Can you handle it?"

When I heard his voice and the question at the end, I got up.

"Of course!!"

He smiled satisfied.

"Good, I won't give you a time limit but don't take too long. By the way, remember to buy food or supplies. I gave you water and bread here, but you might get hungry there, so you'll need to use the gold I already gave you."

I nodded, better than those tasteless balls. I received bread and water here, although it was called hard bread, which was like a rock and tasteless.

I bowed respectfully to the trainer. During training, he not only watched but unlike the rumors, he gave me precise tips, which made me happy, and we even talked a bit.

"Thank you, trainer! I will return soon."

Fisk looked at me and smiled more softly compared to his previously grumpy face.

"See you soon, good luck."

He also gently touched my head.

I smiled and left.

...

From there, I went to the commercial center in the city. I saw many restaurants, weapon shops, and potion shops.

I had already gained enough potions, so I didn't need to buy any now. As for weapons, I didn't plan to buy any nor armor, as I would receive them after the mission.

What I decided to buy for food were some cheaper items, including 10 white breads for 2 gold coins, 4 bottles of strawberry juice for 2 gold coins, and 3 meat skewers for 1 gold coin.

After collecting everything, I stored it in my inventory and spent another 2 coins to slightly increase my inventory space.

"Thank you, uncle!!"

"Of course, boy."

I left the bakery happy after buying what I needed from the kind baker, who seemed to be a Beastkind of some kind of cow, and she even gave me two bottles of milk, which I preferred not to think about where it came from, especialy after saying I was a kind and cute young man.

However, as I was heading towards the hunting field, I saw a humanoid individual. He was different from a goblin or a dwarf, a bit taller with skin between green and beige, slightly elongated ears, and carrying a bag like a small Santa Claus or something similar.

"Look at the lucky box, lucky box, who wants a lucky box, one per person!! Maybe you'll become a millionaire overnight!"

I looked and heard murmurs from a small group of 5 players talking while looking at him.

"Tsk, that leprechaun again... he says he has luck, but I got a bottle of water..."

"And I got a sandstone rock!! What am I supposed to do with that?"

"But I heard a player got a sword..."

"I also heard someone won potions."

"Yeah, but I heard most got useless items. I even heard one got a bomb that exploded on him and he died."

Hearing all this, I only got more curious... he seemed quite intriguing, especially since it was one box per player, so I decided to read his status first with inspect.

Leprechaun of the Lucky Box

Lvl: ????

Title: Unlucky for players, the being of luck and misfortune, the mysterious being ???

Description: It's doubtful where they come from, appearing and disappearing quickly (more likely in beginner villages). For just 3 gold coins, this leprechaun will give you a lucky box, containing anything from a useless item to something extremely good and useful. Will you take a chance? Do you dare enter the little casino? Each player can only receive one per visit from the Leprechaun.

---

Seeing this, I was even more intrigued. It seemed to be something that could appear outside the beginner village but was rarer... and anyway, I was too curious to resist, so I went directly to talk to him, with a beautiful smile on my face.

"Mr. Leprechaun!! I want one!"

As I ran towards him, I didn't hear the players talking.

"Is he going to be another exploded one? It's just a small event in the village... to get attention, it's not like it's something very rare or has any real utility..."

"Tsk, never mind, let's go, leave the newbie."

And they left for the second hunting field. I hadn't seen it, but these people already had their own classes.
