"That took longer than expected."
Class 1-A slowly emerged from the woods, each battered and bruised and about to drop.
"Wh-Where is (y/n)?" Mina asked, slowly looking around. After an hour of trying to search for you in the beast infected forest, the class decided you could defend yourself and was probably making your way towards the camp, so they did too.
"Hm?" Pixie-Bob hummed, "Oh she didn't make it-"
"What!?"
"I'm joking!" Pixie-Bob waved,
"Not cool man!" Kaminari breathed, touching his heart.
"(y/n)." Aizawa called, you walked into sight easing your classmate's twisted anxiety.
"Yeah?" You asked, "Oh-" You noticed your class had finally arrived. "-what took you guys so long?"
"What!?" Kaminari gasped, "How long have you been here!?"
"Couple hours." You shrugged.
"H-Hours!?" Mina gasped. "How!?"
"Well, when I got loose from those bird things, they dropped me. After that I just made my way here." You explained.
"I-I am so mad at you right now." Jiro breathed, feeling exhausted.
"You-You said it would only take three hours!?" Sero cried, "It took six!"
"I guess we times it based on how long it would take us-!" Pixie-Bob chuckled, "Sorry!"
"Bragging about how much better you are?" Sato collapsed to the ground, "That's so mean."
"I'm starving-!" Kirishima cried, "-this is hell."
"I thought it would take you kids a lot longer, but you held up against my dirt monsters better than I expected you too!"
"I-I hate you." Kaminari breathed.
"Especially the four of you!" Pixie-Bob pointed out Ida, Midoriya, Shoto, Bakugo. "It seems you have quite the experience! And you-!" She pointed to you who moved to stand with your class. "-I had to separate you from the class so you wouldn't make it so easy for them!"
"Uh..." You didn't like the way her licked her lips staring at you.
"I call dibs on these kittens!" She pounced, "I'll groom them myself!" She fluttered around touching the four boys. She moved to place a hand on you and you instantly glared, causing her to freeze.
"Don't touch me."
"Sh-She can be kinda scary." Kirishima nervously laughed.
"Hey-" Midoriya spoke, "-speaking of ages-" Having heard Aizawa and Mandalay's conversation, Pixie-Bob covered Midoriya's face, her expression seething with rage.
"Choose your words carefully boy!"
"I-I was just wondering who that was." Midoriya pointed to the little boy standing beside the teachers.
"Oh, this is Kota, my cousin's son he lives with us now." Mandalay explained. "Don't be shy, say hi. They are going to be here for the next week."
Midoriya smiled, walking over to the boy introducing himself.
Kota looked up to the green-haired mop, frowned and instantly punched Midoriya in the crotch.
You couldn't muffle your laugh.
"You fiend of a child-!" Ida rushed to Midoriya's side. "-a punch to the scrotum is unforgiveable!"
"The last thing I wanna do is hang around a bunch of wannabe heroes!"
"Wannabe!?" Ida scoffed, "How old are you, kid!?"
"I bet that's the most action Midoriya as ever seen." You couldn't stop yourself from cracking a joke.
"(y/n)!" Mina hissed, causing you to laugh.
"The brat's got spunk." Bakugo smirked.
"He is like a mini version of you." Shoto replied.
"What are you talking about!?" Bakugo snapped around, "You need to shut your mouth before I blast you all the way to hell!"
"Yeah sure." Shoto rolled his eyes.
"Enough playing around." Aizawa interfered. "Go get your things off the bus, once your bags are in your rooms, we will all have dinner in the cafeteria. After that, you can bathe and sleep."
"I could sleep for a week." Sero groaned.
"Tomorrow your training starts in the earnest." Aizawa went on, "You better get a move on."
----
"This is all so good!" Kirishima shoveled food into his mouth.
"I can't get enough!" Kaminari agreed.
You leaned against your arm, watching your classmates inhale food.
You slowly breathed out, feeling on edge, your muscles tense keeping an eye on Pixie-Bob as she explained this would be the only day they cook and to better enjoy it.
You glanced over your shoulder, wondering where and when they would attack. Would they do in front of the class? Would Aizawa know? How would All Might feel if he discovered the came, he allowed you to be sent off to, to 'be normal' got you killed?
"(y/n)?" You looked up, "You ready?" Asui asked.
"Huh?"
"To go to the hot springs!" Mina filled you in, "Are you done eating?"
"Ah, yeah." You answered, getting up but not before exchanging glances between Mandalay. The air felt cold and stiff as you walked away from the cafeteria, following your two classmates.
The next day slammed into everyone before anyone could prepare for it. You were not a morning person, your eyes were barely open as Aizawa forced everyone to throw a ball to test something, you weren't sure you dozed back off. You were stirred awake by an angry Bakugo, nothing new every other three seconds he was riled up.
How did he have so much energy this early?
Aizawa set up each student with their own personal plan to grow their quirks. Aizawa wanted you to be alone today, working on your two weakest quirks. Tomorrow you would be with a pro-hero and then on the third day you would work with other students who can push each other's limits.
Today you were to work on your lightening quirk. Aizawa wanted to see if it could grow on its own or if it was simply a supportive quirk.
Class B finally decided to stroll in, you rolled your eyes hearing the pussycat dolls introducing themselves again. The fourth member of the hero team, Tiger was working with Midoriya today who was nearby. You heard your classmate getting slammed into a tree, your bones cringed feeling his pain.
"Come on-!" Tiger expressed, "-if you don't push yourself, you won't shred your muscle fibers, which means you won't get stronger-" Tiger cut himself off, his throat swelled shut as his blood ran cold spotting those glowing eyes.
"T-Tiger?" Midoriya slowly rose to his feet. "Are you ok?"
"I knew it-" Tiger's face grew dark.
"I-I promise I'll try harder!" Midoriya stuttered, feeling fear engulf his chest.
"-I knew it!" Tiger screamed, sprinting away from Midoriya locking his sight onto you.
"Fuck." You breathed, quickly dodging his fist.
"Wh-What are you doing!?" Midoriya called, chasing after the two of you.
"Get back!" You shouted, turning your attention onto your classmate who was just going to get in the way and get himself hurt. This allowed Tiger to land a hit on you, you bit down as you flew backwards.
"(y/n)!" Midoriya cried out. You landed through the trees on the main field where most of the students were located. Having them grouped together made it easier for the teachers to observe them.
"What the hell!?" Kirishima and Ojiro stopped sparring, watching you get up from the ground. You were panting from over using your lightening quirk.
"I knew you would come back on day-" Tiger stepped through the crumbed tree he put you through. His eyes glowed with rage as he stomped towards you. "-to finish the job!"
"What the hell is going on!?" Aizawa called, but Tiger was to locked onto you to hear outside voices. He rapidly through punches, due to his quirk dodging him was difficult and you failed.
You flew backwards onto your back, the air being knocked out of your lungs. You rolled onto your side coughing.
"Wha-?" Mina breathed, not sure what was happening. It was strange it see someone have the edge over you.
"What the hell kind of training is this!?" Bakugo began his march towards Tiger and you.
Tiger let out a mighty roar before summing all the strength he had inside his fist and slamming it down onto you.
Aizawa dropped just in time to pull you out of the way.
"What the hell are you doing!?" Aizawa demanded to know. "She isn't scheduled to train with anyone until-"
"Eraser Head-!" Tiger jumped, separating you from your teacher sending him stumbling back to safety. Tiger slammed you down into the dirt, repentantly. "-don't get so close to it!"
"Get your hands off my student!" Aizawa ordered, seeing how he was choking the air out of your lungs.
"This is no student-!" Tiger spat glaring into you, "-this thing here is one of Shadow Jack's puppets!" Aizawa blocked Tiger's quirk as he caught his free arm before Tiger could bring it down onto you.
"I said-" He warned, "-get your hands off my student."
"She isn't a student!" Tiger repeated as Aizawa threw him onto his back before pulling you to your feet. You gasped for air holding onto your neck.
"That's-!" Ragdoll gasped as your face clicked into her head; "-everyone get back! We need to do a survey of the land; others could be watching!"
"What is going on!?" Vlad King yelled as the wild, wild, pussycats surrounded you and Aizawa.
"It's ok." You breathed, looking up into Tiger's eyes. "I'm not here-"
"Shut it!" Tiger whipped his hand. "I don't want to hear anything-"
"Don't tell me..." Aizawa turned to you, realizing what was going on.
"I thought that creep was locked up!" Pixie-Bob breathed in disbelief.
"He is." Tiger answered, "But it seems some of his puppets are still doing his bidding."
"Someone wanna fill the rest of us in on what's going on?" Rin raised his hand.
"That girl came here years ago and tried to kill us!" Ragdoll pointed, shocking the crowd.
The corners of your mouth tilted upward.
"I didn't try to kill you." You found your footing. "If I wanted you dead, I would have killed you the night Shadow Jack sent me here."
"What!?" Your classmates' minds were blown.
"The pussycats were one of your targets." Aizawa rubbed the side of his head.
"We need to call-"
"You don't need to call anyone." Aizawa explained, "(y/n) isn't associated with Shadow Jack anymore, and there aren't any other people inside the forest watching you. Why didn't you tell me this?" Aizawa questioned you.
"I didn't think they remembered who I was. The only one who seemed to recognize me was her-" You motioned over to Mandalay. "-when she didn't move to attack me, I figured you filled her in on why I was here."
"I figured as much." Mandalay stepped forward. "You were with Eraser Head, so I assumed you turned over a new leaf."
"She was set free." Aizawa clarified. "Shadow Jack forced her and many others to do his work."
"Is that..." Pixie Bob muttered recalling the night filled with flames, "...is that why you didn't kill me that night?"
"Yeah." You answered, refusing to look at any of your classmates.
"Hm." Tiger scrunched his face, not buying it.
"A-Alright-" Mandalay called; "-everyone get back to training!"
"Yeah." Tiger agreed, "Why don't you and I go work on your quirk?"
"I don't think so." Aizawa stepped in front of you.
"What's the problem?" Tiger asked, "If she is just as innocent as she claims, then there should be no bad blood, right?"
"You don't seem-"
"I'm fine with it." You cut Aizawa off.
"Well, I'm not." Aizawa replied. "You're not going to be sparring against someone who holds resentment towards you-"
"Who holds resentment here!?" Tiger laughed, "Why on earth would I harbor negative feelings for one of the people who attacked me and my family, burned half the forest down then vanished into thin air!?"
"You're the dumbass who couldn't figure out we didn't want to even be there!" You snapped, "We had to put on a show or else-"
"Enough!" Aizawa snapped, "There is no use reminiscing the past. (y/n) is no longer affiliated with Shadow Jack, is a student at UA High and you will treat her as such."
"Very well-" Tiger nodded, "-Eraser Head."
"(y/n), get back to training." Aizawa ordered.
"Yes sir." You muttered, not turning to look at any one.
