As the girl was walking towards the man, she didn't feel anything at first but slowly she felt something different.

Her ability was actually just a barrier but it worked like a deflector to physical powers. As the man attacked her with a sword, his attack got deflected plus he was dealt with the damage. But if it was someone with magic or something like that they wouldn't have gotten hurt. Instead the girl would have to use her mana to keep the barrier up. But the man didn't know this so the girl was at an advantage.

But now there was something different, she was in a [domain]! Even if the person who created the [domain] wasn't strong enough but nonetheless, it still was a [domain]. The effect of this domain was finally showing up. It wasn't a physical attack, it was an attack on souls. As her barrier was constantly blocking a foreign dangerous thing from entering, it made the girl reinforce the barrier constantly too, which made her consume her mana continuously. Keeping her barrier wasnt that mana consuming but if she was blocking something too with it, then it was mana draining.

Now it was just about who had more stamina and mana but the girl was still at advantage because she could attack the man but the man couldn't attack physically, or that's what she thought.

Soon the girl was near the man and as she was going to force her barrier to the man, the silver fog suddenly rushed in front of the man and attacked the girls barrier directly. Now it was much more tough for the girl as she was being attacked for real now in a single place. The attack was faster than her reinforcement so her mana was being depleted really quickly but she just couldn't back away from this.

The people in the crowd were all big shots with great influences and they too were looking forward to more excitement and the other participants too were looking forward to an exciting match but just everyone thought that things have gotten interesting, the whole arena got cleared.

The fog disappeared. The man just fell down and lost conscience. The girl too, was surprised like everyone else but soon she felt lucky at her win as her mana was also going to deplete but now she just won!

But she wasn't going to let go of the man just like that. As the girl was going to attack the man with her barrier, to suffocate him to be exact, a black suited person appeared in the arena. Nobody saw how the man entered the arena. The barrier was still there and nobody from the security did anything so the participants calmed down.

"W-Who are you!? What do you want! It's against the rules to interfere in a fight!", just as the girl thought that the man was here to kill her, she tried to scare him with rules and stuff but the man simply stood there paying no attention to her at all.

"My lord wants this man under his wing, in our family. If anyone wants to kill him he will be making an enemy of our family."

The girl felt infuriated as she wanted to kill this man so bad. But now this man was stopping her. She felt that she was being ignored!!.

Just as she was going to speak back, the unknown man looked towards her for the first time. As their eyes met, the girl's barrier broke and she coughed a mouth full of blood.

Nobody from the audience said anything as there weren't that many people that were interested in this man. Sure having the domain was a big thing but they all were influential people so they had their share of enough experience. As for the participants, nobody even dared to look towards the unknown man.

As everything was going on, Ethan checked the level of the unknown person and was really shocked.

The shocking thing wasn't his level. Ethan was now used to seeing strong people plus it was obvious there were many strong people here but the shocking thing was that his level was written in red!

In red yes!!

"System you better explain to me what it means otherwise it's your doomsday!"

"The level is in red because the man has unlocked his innate bloodline. There are also ranks in bloodline. Red as ranked the second lowest. Host doesn't have to be scared of this shitty bloodline."

As soon as Ethan heard the system's reply, he was speechless.

Is the system being shameful or what? But as he thought of it, he was surprised that it was ranked second lowest? His gaze just now made that girl coughed blood and the system is saying it's just shitty bloodline?

"Yo system, Can you explain to me the ranking of bloodline? And what rank is mine? Is mine something really strong that's why you chose me?"

Ethan as usual once again started feeling as if he was someone of great importance.

Ethan really felt like killing the system. Just as he was having this internal discussion, the butler took the unconscious man and left. The girl on the other hand was healed by the staff and the arena was completely repaired by a person in white suit. His level wasn't high enough but his ability was related to earth attribute so he repaired the arena quickly and just like that the first fight came to end with the girl being the victor but the man who got selected might be the real winner.

As the girl was brought back, many were feeling pity for her that even after winning she had to suffer such pain.

"WHO THE FUCK WAS THAT MAN! HE DARED DOING THAT TO ME!! I'LL DEFINITELY ASK MY MASTER TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!", the girl suddenly started shouting and yelling while her sister's expression wasn't that good either. The guy with the specs was the only one with a smile on his face after hearing this all.

"Go ahead if you want your master to die too hahaha", the guy with specs couldn't hold it in anymore and started laughing.

"So you want to die too!! Is that it! I'll fulfill your wish if you're in much hurry!!", just as she was about to pounced on the dude ...

"Stop it."

The temp in the room started rising. The girl was taken aback and turned towards the voice.

"Did you even see the emblem that person had?"It was Andrea who stopped them. She looked unapproachable and all but she wasn't that bad of a person. She didn't want to see them fight. Even though she wasn't some angel, she just didn't like unreasonable shit.

She expected that except the dude with the specs, nobody else would know who he was but to her surprise ..

"Raeia family. Are they a big deal or something hahaha. Didn't look that much to me.", of course Ethan had to show off now as he knew who he was. How could he let a chance to show off pass. He was born for great heights ...as per him that is.
