First sight - Part 1

"Ohh, shit!!"

Arvita cursed many times to herself, glancing at her watch because it was already nine in the morning. And she still hasn't left her house.

Rohimah watched her daughter, who looked panicked and made too much noise in the morning, running around with the towel she was still wearing on her head.

"Ohh, Godness! Arvita, don't you have breakfast first?" Asked Rohimah, when she saw that her daughter was already fully dressed in her work clothes.

"I'm late, mom! The interview schedule is at ten. Why don't you wake up me?!" Arvita protested while wearing her black work shoes.

"Why don't you wake up by yourself, huh?! I've tried to call you! You're the one who didn't hear," Rohimah answered briefly.

"Really? Usually, you splash me when it's hard to wake up me," Arvita looked at her mother suspiciously,

"Did you intentionally not wake me up so I wouldn't oversleep and not attend the scheduled interview?

"Why do I do that? Never mind, I'm also busy, and I need to go to the market. There so many think I will buy today," Rohimah turned her face away because her daughter's guess was right.

Rohimah wanted her daughter to be able to cancel her interview schedule that day, to realize her plans for the afternoon.

The train station that day was very crowded. Everyone had a busy schedule. Meant by herself, Arvita was still waiting at the platform area.

Her destination train still hadn't arrived, and she only had at least thirty minutes to get there.

"Is it possible I can come on time?" That was the question in her mind.

Is it possible that she will arrive before that time? Arvita repeatedly glanced at her watch, clucking in annoyance due to the delayed train departure

A woman's voice came from the loudspeaker. The information officer informed her that the arrival of the train would be arriving soon. She also urges train users to stand and wait at the safe limits of the platform.

Arvita looked at the train that had just arrived. She was standing right in front of the train door. And worst of all, she just realized that she was in a special area for women's carriages.

Behind her were many mothers who brought their children, women workers, and the elderly who were waiting. Not long after, the automatic door suddenly opened, and people rushed out of the carriage.

Arvita seemed lost among the many passengers who wanted to get off and passengers who scrambled to get on.

Arvita circled in front of the entrance for a long time. After she also had enough with her dizzy head. And finally, she realized that she was the only one who had not entered.

All pairs of eyes looked at her, some smiled strangely, and some felt pity. Arvita glared in confusion, even the entrance was already full of people who had packed the women's special carriage.

Arvita stepped on her feet, trying to break into the carriage. Arvita tried to get on the train with all her efforts. But that didn't work, and the passengers on the train just looked on without mercy.

Arvita stood in front of the entrance, staring with pleading eyes and gasping for breath. She was too tired of trying to squeeze her way into the full carriage.

Arvita glanced at the other carriage, "There is no other choice," her mind said seriously.

She also chose another carriage. Even though she had to mix with men, at least she managed to easily get into the carriage.

Arvita seemed to regret her choice of clothes that day. She should have worn work pants because she was in too much of a hurry, wore a skirt that was too tight with a little slit on the side, and her clothes restricted her movement.

Last night's dinner, she ate too much and made her stomach look a little distended this morning.

Arvita even forgot to bring her blazer. She only wore a plain white shirt. And to be honest, she realized the clothes she was wearing were too thin.

Arvita tapped her forehead in annoyance, realizing how stupid she was today.

The train doors closed, signaling that the journey was about to begin. Even though Arvita didn't get a seat, she was still grateful to be able to hold on to the handle of the train that hung a lot.

Arvita is getting used to the journey, the train starts to stop briefly at each station. Of course, the number of passengers is increasing, and the conditions inside the train are getting denser.

Some passengers began to close themselves because the number of passengers continued to increase.

Arvita didn't notice at first, with various touches that she thought were accidental at first. But this time, she felt a hand land on the back of her body.

Even the hands occasionally seem to try to squeeze slowly.

Arvita could also hear the sound of a man's heavy breathing right behind her. She clenched her hands tightly as emotions began to take over her.

Again the hand began to squeeze the back of her body on purpose. It seems Arvita doesn't care about her surroundings anymore.

Let today be a complete mess. She doesn't care if she doesn't attend a job interview, as long as she can warn the man who abused her.

Just as Arvita wanted to turn her body. Suddenly, another man who was taller than Arvita made a sound, making the people in the train carriage look at the place where Arvita was standing.

"Hey, SIR! What are you doing?!"

A man says to the man behind Arvita. Meanwhile, Arvita stared in wonder at the man who was trying to protect her.

Arvita is currently fascinated looking at the man beside her, the man with a square face with red glasses.

The man with the sweet face made Arvita forget that actually, she wanted to pour out her anger on the man who had abused her.

The glasses man immediately grabbed the hand of the man who was doing something obscene to Arvita, raising the man's hand on purpose.

"Why do you deliberately do this kind of dishonorable act." Said the man with glasses.

The man behind Arvita was at least forty years old and had a thick mustache with round eyes.

"What do you mean??" Said the man with the mustache and roughly released the grip of the man with glasses.

"I saw everything, sir!! Even this lady must also feel uncomfortable because of the harassment that you did..!!"

"You should be able to respect women and not do things that are not commendable like this." The bespectacled man replied, and Arvita nodded in agreement.

"What would your wife say if you knew you were acting like this?"

"What wife?? How do you know I have a wife?" The man with the mustache started to panic.

"Did you forget the wedding ring you're wearing now?" The bespectacled man replied again.

Arvita was even more amazed by the bespectacled man, amazing by his detailed observations.

"I didn't do anything! You guys misunderstood." The man with the mustache was still trying to defend himself.

"Didn't do anything?? I'm the victim here! You're wringing my back area, right!!" said Arvita loudly.

All eyes began to look towards them, and even some of those who were watching began to record the scene of the enmity.

This commotion finally provoked one of the train guards to approach,

"What's going on here?"

asked the officer as he trudged through the dense crowd of passengers.

And what happened next?

Arvita, the man with glasses, and the man with the mustache are no longer in the carriage.

The officer decided to process the matter and took them to get off the train to the nearest office.

"So... Your name is Bagus?" Said one of the train attendants from behind his desk, looking at the badge of the man with the mustache.

"Yes, I am," Bagus replied, looking down in shame.

Then the officer began to take two other IDs belonging to Arvita and the man with glasses.

"And you are Miss. Arvita and Mr. Samudra?"

"Yes, I'm Arvita,"

"You can call me Sam,"

They said at the same time.

"All right," the officer looked suspiciously.

"Are you two related?" Ask the officer.

Arvita and Sam simultaneously shook their heads.

"Mmmm... do you two know each other?" Ask the officer again. And they both shook their heads again.

"Let me explain," said Sam.

"I'm Satiyo... Usually called Tiyo." The officer replied while showing the name tag pinned to his chest.

"So, Mr. Tiyo. I happen to be a witness to the incident that happened to Arvta and a man named Bagus. I can guarantee that this man is (points to the man with the mustache),"

"... he did abuse her," said Sam with confidence.

"And if he still evades and does not want to apologize. I dare to defend Miss. Arvita."

Arvita stared in amazement because all the words that came out of Samudra made her blush and feel flattered because the man stood up for her.

"I'm a lawyer, and I can help Arvita to sue you for the harassment you have done." Sam threatened, although still with a relaxed demeanor.

The man with the mustache immediately showed fear and panic He didn't want to prolong this matter. And in the end, the man named Bagus agreed to make a written apology accompanied by an agreement. So that he would not do the same thing to Arvita or other women.

"Thank you... I wouldn't know what would have happened if you didn't help me earlier," said Arvita, looking embarrassed to face Sam, standing in front of her.

Sam replied with a sweet smile that made Arvita even more fascinated.

"There's no need to thank you like that. It's only natural that I defend you who are treated like that," replied Sam.

"Oh yes, we haven't officially met. My name is Samudra. As you know, you can call me Sam," Samudra reached out his hand for a handshake.

"I'm Arvita," Arvita replied to Samudra's handshake, still smiling shyly and looking down.

Suddenly, Arvita's gaze shifted to her watch.

The time was already 10:15 AM.

"Oh... my!"

Arvita immediately let go of her handshake and screamed in surprise.

"What is it?" asked Samudra, confused by the change in Arvita's expression.

"Sorry... I'm very late today. Ahh... even though today is my job interview schedule. Once again, I'm sorry," Arvita said and hastily left Samudra, who was still looking at her back.

"Uhmm... she's a sweet lady. It's a shame I haven't asked for her contact," Samudra said with a small smile. He began to turn around and continue his journey, which had been delayed.
